Assisted by relatively new staffer Patrick to obtain an appraisal of my 2007 Toyota Matrix and see how it would compare with the one Carmax gave me. I am fortunate to have come across Bidlane just by chance while driving by the previous evening. I had never heard of them before. The reviews on Yelp were mostly positive, so I have them a try. They offered me $100 more than Carmax and also offered to pay for a Lyft/Uber ride back home. Patrick was courteous, thorough, professional and followed proper COVID-19 safe protocal and etiquette. (There was plenty of hand sanitizer throughout the office). Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better transaction experience and recommend this business.

This is a great place to take your car for a first estimate however carvana gave me $2000 over bid lane offer price so definitely check out carvana too they’re super easy to deal with pick your car up no hassle or games . Bid lane offered me $7500 and wouldn’t negotiate carvana offered me $9495!

I recently sold my bmw 128i to this pasadena location. I had a great experience, the whole staff, Farid, Maggie, Evan, and Serge were friendly and welcoming, the staff even stayed after hours to help finish up my paperwork, which i appreciate. They were all straight forward with all the information.Farid in particular was very helpful and walked me through each step of the appraisal.I feel i got a fair price for my car, was happy with the exchange, and even beat my carmax quote.I would definitely come back to them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Oh horrible customer service they will never call you back and they will not pay off your Car within 10 business days like they claim What time you call they will avoid speaking to you because they know that they dropped the ball never ever will I ever go to this place again

We got an offer from KBB and got a call from Bidlanes. After they inspected the car they gave us two bids both of them are 2000 USD lower than KBB. Then we informed them that we got an offer from CarMax that is higher than their offer by 2000 USD and an offer from Carvana higher than theirs by 2800 USD.The guy who inspected the car asked to see the offer from CarMax. After we showed him the offer, he went inside for a couple of minutes and then came to us saying that they will give us an offer higher than CarMax by 200 USD, and the offer is valid for 72 hours only. He refused to give us any written offer though. Moreover, he asked us not to go for Carvana as they usually give lower offer after inspecting the car and it takes time to get the money from them.I did not like that they initially offered us 2000 USD lower than the car price.At the end we sold our car to Caravan with an offer higher than both CarMax and Bidlanes by 800 and 600 USD respectively. We had no issue depositing their check.

Took my car to Martin (amazingly nice guy, who was willing to give me extra from his own commission which of course I didn’t accept just to keep me happy) in the west Los Angeles location after Britney from Burbank location called me, but apparently the Pasadena location makes the call on the price you getting, hence the bad review is being written for Pasadena.They made me leave carmax and drive all the way there to get a price $400 below carmax. Then they ask to see my carmax bid and decide to do $150 over their bid since they think you are already here and won’t go back.If I knew there was this much headache and him having to call back and forth I’d just given it to carmax and would have been done with hours before. My time is worth more than $150.So if you don’t mind being toyed with from some guy named Jack in Pasadena, come to any of their locations. I ended up giving it to them anyway because my wife made me or I would have left just for the principal.

I like many others reached out to Carmax to get an appraisal and got a so so offer from them. I felt the service at Carmax was really subpar and decided to stop by Bidlane before heading home. Just left Burbank office. Jay was great, the other guy, bald head, era plugs in his ears, I said hello to him and he mumbled a response. My truck has 277k plus miles. Jay referred to the bald head, ear plugs dude who proceeded to inform him that KBB and hence Bidline wouldnt make an offer on vehicles over 200k miles. He doesnt know what hes talking about. I received an offer from KBB for 1440k a couple of weeks ago with 277k miles. Its documented. Bidline, you might want to advertise that you dont look at cars wth over 200k miles. I wasted my time driving to your store and dealing with that prick. Terrible customer service except forJay. He was great!
