Recently contracted Kompletely Kustom Marine to restore the original hull gelcoat and replace the striping on my 1987 Wellcraft. They used a three-stage wet sanding process to remove the years of oxidation and surface damage and then finished with a thorough wax and polish before applying new striping. Dan took the time to explain to me in detail the steps he and his team would need to take in order to accomplish this during our initial meeting and even took me into his shop to show me the tools and products they would be using…great customer service. Done during the off-season, I also had them winterize the engine, install a new Garmin chartplotter/fishfinder head unit and transducer, and custom create a storage tray for the dash. All work was completed professionally and promptly; solidifying KKM as both mechanical and cosmetic boat repair experts. Having been to the KKM shop a handful of times now, I have seen several projects they have either completed or are currently working on and their attention to detail, technical competency, and creativity is evident in everything they do. Daniel and his KKM team did an incredible job wiring my much needed 44 year old boat. The job was super clean and I know it’s safe to use. I can’t wait to use the AC units and toilet next season. I have been coming to Kompletely Kustom Marine for more than two years for year round maintenance, upgrades, detailing ect... Dan and his team have always been easy to work with, professional and committed to providing a excellent product. Last year when the world, restaurants and more shut down it was critical for me to get the boat in early (mid March) and for her to run well all year and thats exactly what KKM was able to provide.Special project this year included a new Sounds system and speaker wire re-run. No, you are making it sound as if I am the one at fault, What you are doing is called spin I originally gave your company all of the information that was needed to get me a quote. Then I called back again and your company said that you had not found out and were going to let me know. Then I called again a week later And your company told me that the motor was on back order and assumed that I was not intrested! Never getting back to me! every time I had to reach out to you! 4 separate times! I work in the service industry and when somebody says they are going to do something just do it! dont make excuses. You and your company screwed up I found the motor at a company that gave me a price the same day, For the same manufacturer It doesnt take 2 weeks And all of this to find Out how much a 50 horse power motor with controls on a side console will cost installed! You dropped the ball fess up to it! Train your employees better, And if theyre not fit to answer calls and respond to customers dont have them answering your phones! Why is your company making excuses for not being able to perform this simple task! My reviews are straightforward when youre spending lots of money on things you expect good service. Perhaps youre used to people who dont! All of this over just trying to get the 50 horse power motor for my boat I dont even know why Im wasting my time!

I purchased a boat in Washington DC and live in New York. With current NY covid restrictions, I was unable to see the boat or be there for winterization. Took our sailboat to Daniel at Kompletely Kustom Marine in late June 2019 for a prop shaft that had slipped out of motor coupling. Issue mostly caused by loose motor mounts. Daniel assured us that he knew how to fix problem, would have it back to us at the end of July. Boat returned to us in Mid August. A little over an hour later after motoring up the Potomac the shaft came loose again. Daniel corrected slipping shaft after two more trips and another week. He still had a problem with a motor mount bolt that was left out. Another 2 weeks to install that. A bolt that holds motor mounts is now backing out. Have been waiting two weeks to get that corrected, it is October. I feel like I paid top dollar to get this done and should not have had these problems.

We bought a boat in Annapolis (we live in NY) this past November and Dan at KKM was a great find. He was a thorough, knowledgeable technician that helped us tremendously over the course of several months. We trusted him to take care of a punch list and to have the boat ready to travel north this month, and he did not disappoint. Took a shot in the dark when i called them to have a sound system put in my boat. Dan was very responsive when i called. He also called me to let me know how things were going as they were installing. They also did led spreader lights and a led chart light. The boat looks super clean, and above all, sounds amazing. You can really tell they pay attention to detail and treat your boat as their own. They also washed and waxed my boat bringing a 32 year old hull back to life! I highly recommend and will use them again personally.

Kompletely Kustom Marine Inc. has been taking 1st class care of our 34 Spanish Trawler since April 2019. Response to 2 service calls were timely and outstanding. and repairs were reliable and performed with professionalism. Recently we had an issue with our boat not starting, we were not able to use our normal mechanic and had to look for a authorized repair center. We found Kompletly Kustom, from the start they were very nice and helpful. They were able to get to our marina and start working on our boat within a week. They communicated clearly what needed to be done, along the way they texted us pictures of the progress and issues they found. After all the work was complete we needed to get the boat power washed, they organized that with the local marina, all I had to do was dock it. It was a smooth processes with reasonable prices, we will use them again. I highly recommended Kompltly Kustom!
