Connie is amazing!! I needed some alterations done to a dress at the last minute and she came through, not only that but she offered less expensive alternatives to my requests which were definitely the right way to go in the end.I also brought in a Berta dress Id purchased used to have a couple small tears in the sleeves repaired and the waist let out a tad and she did a stellar job. Ill be bringing the same dress in later this year to have some alterations made for my post covid wedding.Overall Connie is timely, fairly priced, and very easy to work with. if you need any alterations done Id highly recommend her.

She has so many great ideas and is able to execute them so well. I would definitely recommend Connie to anyone who wants something different!

I am not surprised at all by the excellent reviews Connie is receiving- She and the rest of her team are incredibly talented, creative, accommodating and professional.In October 2015 Connie designed my wedding gown and lace caftan and it was exactly as I had envisioned on my wedding day. Connie is so great what she does in part because she is a good listener, visionary and most of all, patient.I was surprised to learn that by having my custom wedding gown made by her I would end up saving about a thousand dollars and I was working with a tight wedding budget. I was considering a gown in a bridal boutique but wasnt in love with it or the price.She also has a variety of ready-to-wear gowns for all occasions for sale in her shop.Check this sweet bridal boutique out and have a chat with Connie- I promise you will be happy you did.

My wedding dress alterations turned out perfectly - highly recommend!

After trying on dresses at several different shops, decided to go with Connie for the following reasons:1. Shes incredibly talented, thoughtful and listens to what you want (which lets face it getting what you want is the most important part of YOUR wedding day)2. Shes thorough and has a detailed, organized process3. Custom dresses are totally an options4. Have you seen the dresses?5. I really enjoyed working with her. Wedding planning is stressful and Connie makes it easy and that can mean so muchIn our initial meeting, I brought a few example pictures and we discussed what I liked and didnt like. She incorporated our discussion into a series of a few lovely hand drawn designs. We met again and discussed what I liked and tried on a few dresses that either had some of the features or similar silhouettes. As with most dresses, we met a few more times as the dress was being made to make sure the measurements were correct.I was so happy and excited to work with Connie, I ended up having her make my bridesmaid dresses as well. Every detail and penny counts (at least for most of us) and this was well worth the investment.

Connie is amazing! As a bride, you always want everything to be perfect ... to look perfect and feel amazing. Connie is able to do that. Not only does she patiently listen to all your wants, but also offers suggestions when you cant make up your mind. Ive gone to other bridal stores to try on dresses, but I always wanted something a little different. Not crazy, per se, but unique. Connie did that for me. She designed an amazing dress was was classic and timeless, but also made accessories (bird cage veil and belt) that added the unique touch I was going for. I also got a traditional Chinese dress from her that was stunning in its fabric choice and bead work. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Connie is amazing! Connie Tao is really talented, does great work, and has impeccable taste! Connie designed a couple of my close friends wedding gowns. After Ive seen my friends gowns, I knew I wanted Connie Tao to design my wedding dress. I wanted a one of a kind dress made especially for me. Who would want a dress that someone else wore? Right? When I met with Connie to discuss the design of my wedding dress, she was so easy to talk to, great personality, and made me feel very comfortable. She is honest, and tells you what type of fit would look good on your body type. She provided me sketches and gave me different type of options. I cant say enough wonderful things about Connie. The entire process of getting my dress made from start to finish was just amazing. She gave me the most beautiful dress that fit ME perfectly. Connie is not only an amazingly talented dress designer, but she truly cares about her clients and you can see how much love and care goes into making you the dress of your dreams. All my friends call me a control freak/ bridezilla (which I am not), but I didnt have to once worry about my dress because I was in good hands. I didnt have to follow up with her once! She had everything under control. There arent enough words to describe how gorgeous my dress was, how absolutely amazing Connie is, and how wonderful the entire wedding dress experience was. Hands down, the best designer you will ever meet. Connie also made my hanbok and my bridesmaid dresses, which were beautiful!!
