Several years ago I dumped a lot of money into a system for my car.It was done by another audio shop in Pasadena who I wont name.They installed my system very badly,cut every corner they could to get me out of their hair after spending over 700$. After a few days of it sounding like absolute garbage,I went to Arthurs old location on Colorado.He looked at what the other shop did and fixed it up for me,I eventually upgraded and gave him my business since then.Arthur and his crew are great,good and honest people.He has always been there for me if I needed anything,even if I didnt buy the stuff from him.If you want to get something installed,this is the shop to do it at.Sadly I have moved away,but Im glad to see he is still in business.
Since my first car over 20 years ago, Ive always had a after market stereo installed. The search is over, Ill only get my stereo equipment, and installation done at Audio Crafters. Arthur is the man!!! Ive never been happier. Nothing but positive things to say. He installed a Audison vocce full digital amp, audison bit one processor, and hertz sub to improve on some of my left over audio equipment that was stolen. Let him know your budget and hell make sure to put your money towards the best equipment that suits your needs.
Arthur who I believe is the owner, is really nice and super helpful. Came here a couple years back to get a fob lock installed and he got the job done. Came back to get it checked because of some issues arising and he got the job done as well. I live on the other side of LA now - but from just those experiences Ill still make the drive over for anything else Id want installed.

I took my car today to get an stereo installed and Arthur did an awesome job. He did it the same day and without having called earlier. Fair price and clean job. We chatted at the end about a lot of random things, he seemed like an honest and legit guy. Definitely recommended.
Came in to install an aftermarket Head unit (KDC-X701), I explained that I had a few things connected and I would need for him to check it all out... Totally satisfied great work,neat and he explained everything as he went along. The bonus here was that I had an issue with one of my amps 4 channel I explained how it would shut off and sometime not even come on.. without giving a second thought he manufactured a relay telling me that he would try and save me some money hence avoiding having to buy a new one..( I thought this was pretty cool) unfortunately my amp is toast but its the thought that counts in my opinion! I would seriously recommend this place if customer service is important to you on top of good work!-Fernando

I wanted a blue tooth for my (not vintage yet) 98 Jag without mucking up the original equipment. Arthur did a FANTASTIC job of not only finding an OUTSTANDING blue-tooth unit with high-quality audio out, but found a switching system that let him switch between the CD input and my bluetooth...without cutting a single wire. Very clean installation

Not sure what kind of place this really is, called to make sure they were open and who ever answered the phone must have been having a really bad day. Its a shame as there isnt much competition with their neighbors in Alhambra as all the shops out there have gone out of business. I dont mind paying an extra couple hundred dollars for a little customer service and friendly attitude, lucky for me.

Im an audio enthusiast whos been looking for a place to fit my audiophile ideals, as far as product, perfect install, and tuning and Ive finally found it. The guy can turn a tin can into gold, if your on a budget, if your willing to pay a little extra on higher quality speakers, he could make your car sound like recording studio.Everytime I get in my car Im dumbfounded as to why the universe kept this place a mystery to me during my 10 years of searching for audio nirvana... Im ALWAYS mesmerized after hearing some tunes and Ive had my system for 6 months. TBH sometimes I fear he might retire, and I will never have decent audio in my future cars...Enough said.
I had a new factory radio installed it took him 15 to 20 minutes Ive had radios installed in other cars and it always took 45 minutes to a hour remarkable how fast he was great job!!
I having been having an intermittent problem with my aftermarket power windows in my Chevy 2003 Astrovan and it has been driving me crazy. No one else wanted to work on aftermarket power windows, not even power window specialists, but Art offered his assistance. I dropped off the vehicle around 9am and he had it done by 11am. He had to replace oa relay and fix some other wire issue or something. In any case, they work great now and the price was way too low! I gave him a nice tip as I think he under charges for his time. He is really a great technician and deserves to charge higher prices for the quality of work he does and the frustration he deals with every day. Great 5 star service, very highly recommended!!!

They are the best.Based on Yelp and Google reviews, I called Arthur at Audio Crafters to discuss installation of a backup camera in my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. (If there was ever a vehicle that needs a backup camera, its the FJ Cruiser!) He said hed done such an installation in a lot of FJs and asked me a number of questions about what audio system I currently had, whether I wanted a CD player or not (not), and what kind of smart phone I have. Based on my answers, he gave me a quote of about $850 plus tax for a new head unit for the stereo system, a USB port to replace the existing 3.5mm stereo jack for audio input, a backup camera, and installation.I told him that I wanted to proceed with the project, so we set a date for installation and he ordered the components. Two days later I was at his shop for the installation.The total time for project was about 3 hours, and the outcome was flawless. The new backup camera gives me superb view to the rear, including green, yellow and red rectangles to warn as the car comes near to objects (just like new OEM systems). Art installed the camera inside the rear bumper, so that it barely shows, dead center and right in line with other details on the bumper, so that it looks like a factory installation.The new radio head unit with touch screen is just amazing. Since I have an iPhone, it was installed using Apples Car Play technology. I now not only have a backup camera, but also access to music and audio books on my iPhone and iPad (connected using either USB or Bluetooth), on-screen display of Apples Map.app, connectivity to Siri, so I can tell her to call home or get me directions to Harry Hansons house. If I wish, I can also connect the radio system screen to iBooks, Audible, iTunes, other music apps, and more. I can dictate a message to somebody through Messages.app. Arthur was even able to connect the new system to my existing subwoofer in the FJ Cruiser. He also installed a new microphone for audio pickup for the iPhone and Siri, utilizing the only perfect location in the FJ Cruiser (on the lower dash area in front of the speedometer, but in a location that doesnt block view to any controls or dials). He even installed a second bonus USB port, on a cable inside the glove box. And, he paired my iPhone with the new system while he was giving me a demo of its features. In short, Arthur did everything he promised, everything I expected, and more.Price: Slightly less than the original estimate, which is always a pleasant surprise in situations like this. (No, oh we ran into a few problems... runarounds.) Also, the price includes a full one year warranty on parts and installation labor (if you have any problems.Personality: Arthur is a quiet-mannered person, very understated in his demeanor, and extremely courteous. He treated me and other customers who came into his shop like royalty. He is totally professional.Am I happy with Audio Crafters and Arthur? Yes, and more. I am thrilled!Ive had some good experiences and some bad experiences over the years with various automotive audio dealers in and around Pasadena. Ive never before had such an overwhelming sense of satisfaction and comfort with the outcome, as I have with Audio Crafters. Highly, highly recommended!
