Lots of Black Friday Sales!! Tons of deals. I went there and walked out with EVERYTHING I needed and more for next to nothing. Super helpful smiling faces! (Fairmont location)

Did give 5 stars, because after shopping going thru the sensors and it went off. They doubled check and said we were good.Now found out the security tag is still on my grandsons shirt.Ugh now we have to go back. :(

This is my third time this week attending this store. The first time we went it was about 10 min before closing and they where someone at the store basically running people off stating time frame. Understood I left the store no argument there couldn’t beat traffic to get their earlier. Yesterday I went back an it was well over an hour before closing. Due to my work I was unable to get their earlier. At exactly one hour before closing someone gets on Intercom to state they are closing in an hour. Then they get back on and state they close in 40 min. They literally seem they where doing 10min count down. Makes you feel rush and unwanted in the store. I then go to process my return and it’s still 20 min before closing and the lady at the return is counting her register and tells us to wait. We wait then I tell her I am processing an exchange for the items and informs me that if I do an exchange it has to be for the same items my only option was to get a refund and make a new purchase. At this point I was over it I told her fine. While we walked out the store doors where closed early. At this point I rather go to another location. I don’t know why the service quality and employees customer service has drop.

Store is set up nicely. Fitting rooms are outdated and creepy. Felt like we were in a horror movie. Good customer service.

They always have deals, coupons and extra mark downs on your purchase. I can only imagine if I had an employee discount on top of the deals. The stuff would be practically free! Keep up the good work! Always thinking about the working people on a budget!

I used the JCPenney Hair Salon, Fist time ever. My daughter gave me a gift card so I was very happy that they accepted it for this service. At first I actually cried because my hair was sooo short, but I did tell the stylist to cut off all that was no good : ( But once it was brow dried, straighten and styled I was amazed and I was totally rocking my new style at my daughters wedding the following day. Unfortunately I do not remember her name but Im glad she was available. My initial appt. was with Sharon, I was a few minutes late, I apologized and explained that I tried calling several times to advise and she began to argue saying no one had called and basically calling me a liar > I was about to leave, when the nice lady took over and welcomed me with a smile. Oh well the rude lady lost out on a $50 tip.. ; ? I almost left to never, ever return or recommend this place. Thank you Nice lady, you are awesome! I will return for additional service and make sure to get her name.

Sad to hear that this is 1 of the stores closing. Always have gotten the family Christmas here. Will miss this place and hate having to all the way down to Bay Brook.

The store was neat and the employees were all very helpful and with great attitudes. However, the prices on regular prices items is still too high. Clearance items are priced at nice discounts, but not too good of a selection of clearance items.

Nice, clean, organized store. Cashier didnt ask to look up rewards or offer coupons, only asked if I was paying with jc penney card. I initiated scanning for discounts. She had her mind on other things and wasnt welcoming. Other than that, I really like your store vs my home store at beltway and Wallisville.

This JCPenney it was really good. It has a salon in it called JCPenney salon and they did my hair so good I really really liked it. The style lasted so long I went there on Saturday and I still have curls today and its Wednesday, so theyre really good. The stylist I dont remember the lady that did my hair but she was really really good. Overall everything was excellent and amazing thats why I rate this JCPenney five star

I had never been to a stand alone department store before so that was a bit weird. Once I got over that the store is laid out nicely. The staff was nice. The prices are high but that’s not unexpected.

Made a photo session appointment because on their website they have very nice photos. When they call me to confirm their receptionist doesnt even know exactly what they have as backgrounds. Says they actually only have solid color backgrounds but I can take my own background if Id like. Are you serious I wouldnt be booking this session if I have my own background. They are morons and have no experience as photographers!

Come to find fantastic deals on sale and the coupons make a huge difference. Ask to see what deals you can get by getting approved for a JCPenney card. All of the associates are happy to help and love conversations. Store is always clean and filled with people who love their job.

Nice fall and winter options. Good sales. The biggest problem was the heat. It was almost too hot to shop. I was so thirsty by the time I checked out. Notice the ring photo has a stone missing. This is the 3rd piece of diamind jewelry Ive had to return for exchange or repair. Still waiting to get it back after 3 weeks! Hopefully they are checking all the prongs!

Sale prices are too high even with the discount. In my opinion the discount should be a lot more. They have good quality clothes but the prices dont sit well with me.

I was willing to look past the overpriced merchandise and make a purchase anyway, but then I approached the checkout to find a line winding around the store. The fine jewelry department had no line, but posted signs clearly stating they were only willing to help jewelry customers. If they really wanted my money, they would provide better service.....I put it all back and left.

Much improved, store not as crowded

They have lots on sale. I love the Levis for women. Lots of shirts on sale. Good selection for household items,curtains towels etc.

Never been a big JC Penney shopper. Even with discounts most things are overpriced. They did have deep discounts on their formal gowns because of Covid19 causing most events to be cancelled.

Just got my hair done at the salon there by Denise. Ive been going there for quite a while and love them! Also did some shopping and got some great deals for some bath stuff for my new apartment.

I love JCPenney!! Always have great selection of clothes. I live around the corner, so i go there all the time. And the staff is always helpful.

It is a nice clean store and the merchandise is generally good quality with average prices. The employees are usually polite and helpful. The store is open later that I would have thought which is a good thing. The parking lot is large and well lit.

Always good deals. But need more sales people. Customers need help and maybe 1 person to help in a big store.

Honestly wish there was an option for ZERO stars. CHRISTOPHER AKINS- GENERAL MANAGER offered my cousin(who needed a job badly) a job on his interview day, gave him a business card, and said theyd be back in touch with him. Fast forward a week and they hadnt gotten back to him, so he called for days only to be directed to HR and told hed have to wait a few more days for his background check. They practice bad business and screwed my cousin out of an opportunity to better himself. What a company. Glad Ive never shopped here, and I definitely plan on telling family and friends not to shop there as well.

I love this store! The sells are great, and there is actually a pretty wide selection of mens clothes unlike many retail clothing stores. This store is also always extremely organized, with the clothes neatly organized and not thrown everywhere. This is extremely helpful when either looking for my size, or browsing the different colors or styles of shirts. Although I have never needed customer service to find me a certain size or style, everyone seems nice and helpful when checking out or returning items.

Salespeople are very helpful and engaged with me as a customer. Also, how do you beat $25 off every $100 you spend?!

Lied about order date, then refused to refund. Fought with them for about an hour before they conceded and allowed us to get the refund THEN they refunded me back 1/10 of my money back and tried to argue the amount. Bad customer service and the inventory leave something to be desired.

Wish they had a better selection of plus size clothing. I fall between a large - xlarge, but finding the right fit is very difficult. The neck/ shoulder area on the clothing is always so wide. I dont understand why theyre made like that.

Just went today. Got myself some cute things. Found a cute bracelet for $9.99. When I was paying, it was the first thing that the cashier, Destiny, had scanned. She put it off to the side while she scanned the other items. She put everything in the bag and that was that. I get home, check my bag and theres no bracelet. I checked my car too, in case it had fallen out of the bag, but it wasnt there. Im sure she put it off to the side on purpose and now, she has my bracelet that I paid for. Very upset.

Super long wait time to check out. Found s dress (only one in my size) and the seam was split open. They would only offer a 10% discount. Sales clerk not friendly
