Build of the URB-E (Pro GT) is clearly superior and most people who see it for the first time are taken by it. While I had a bit of an unfortunate experience.I experienced some logistical issues with my entire order (accessories) - but eventually arrived. I ran into a flat tire in the first day of use (support was kind enough to send me a spare tire - I suspect they should be sending spares with most orders since the tube is a unique size and most shops dont carry it and youll need to order a few on Amazon and wait a few weeks for it to be delivered from China).Wished there was a local store option to trial things out. My research was done remotely and chose the Pro GT, wouldve liked to have tried the Sport version. It seems like theyre trying to grow their support/authorized dealer platform given recent questionnaires.All that said - I would definitely buy again. I think I may have already convinced a couple of additional folk (dreading what that does to the already stretch support staff!)

Yea theres some down side to the urb-e but its a work in progress... i support the urb-e.. for a green way of living. Miss it when it needs repairs once fixed its like the first day i bought it, super exciting!!! Get one, lets change traffic... or i like to say F*** your traffic, get an urb-e 😅

Sales people are great and not pushy. They let me try out several models and I rode them for an hour around Pasadena before buying one. Not once did I feel like they were pushing a sale. Just really nice people.

Been an owner of my own Urb-e for almost 3 years and for the last couple of months, theres problems with my bike that needed fixing. Amazingly enough, the service rendered to repair my bike is efficient and no nonsense. Broke my seat yesterday and decided to pop in to hopefully have it fixed, and voila, its done. Couldnt recommend these guys enough.

I got one of these a few months ago, and I absolutely love it. SO FUN to ride around. I do wish I had gotten pneumatic tires though because these streets in LA are not the most well-kept! Keep that in mind if youre buying. These kinds of e-bike/scooters will be the next big thing. WAY better and WAY cheaper than driving a car around. Graduate to the modern era, drop that hunk of junk costing you hundreds or thousands each month, and get yourself one of these.

Since I first laid eyes on this gem in 2017, I knew I had to get one of theseThis month marks my 2nd year of owning a Sport GT. It’s compact to take on Metro buses, Metrolink trains, car trunks, etc. A single charge can take you up to 20 miles distances (mine goes to 16). With a basket, you can take it shopping for small items and even charge your phones, iPads, etc via USB while taking a meal of coffee break. I’ve had LOTS of people at work and on the streets ask me about it like no tomorrow. Great for green transportation. The staff at URB-E are absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious when it comes to issues that I’ve encountered. Go URB-E!

Visited the store today to see what the hype is about. After getting great customer service from the sales associate, I took a trial run using URB-E. It took a bit to get used to, but after figuring it out, it was an awesome ride! High quality product that is quick and agile!

I was looking for a mobility device to take on the airplane to Europe this summer, as I have to have hip replacement in August, and I found Peter at URB-e who invited me to the URB-e community on Facebook. I posted my needs and found what I was looking for from another community member. He was so helpful, along with another member who offered to loan me her scooter for the trip. Wow! Peter has since been very helpful in answering questions about my scooter and helping me get ready for my trip. Great product and great community. I look forward to my trip with peace of mind. I first walked by the store about six months ago and thought about how cool it would be to own an URB-E. I continue doing research on other similar products but at the end of the day I always defaulted to my skateboard to get around town. After my third full I decided it was time to upgrade to a more premium form of urban commuting. I love my urb-e not only because it gets me around town with ease but because everyone else loves it so much they stop me and are amazed. I either send them to the Pasadena store or to amazon. Best investment Ive made in a long time.

A superb product! The URB-E PRO GT is everything I expected and much, much more. I am handicapped, in that I am a below knee amputee of my right leg, and I wear a prosthetic to facilitate mobility. The URB-E Electric Bicycle has proven to be an irreplaceable aide to enhance my day to day activity. I take it everywhere I go, i.e. shopping, athletic events, theme parks, golfing or just a stroll around the neighborhood. I am constantly being stop by people wanting to know “What’s it called!” and “Where did you get it!” and the always, “Man that is too Cool!” A “Five Star Product” that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and sensible mode of transportation.

Terrible company to deal with so far. They may be nice to speak to about their products but customer service after the sale is non existent. They are only concerned with their social media channels trying to get more sales. Obviously they need your money in order to stay afloat. They cant deliver their product to customers who have ordered back as far as January of this year. I would love to give a review on the Sport GT but it looks like I wont receive mine in the foreseeable future after being told four different shipping dates. Stay away from these guys until they can prove otherwise.Update:After multiple lies and promised delivery dates I have cancelled my order with this company. Stay away.

I love my URB-E Pro GT. I recently rode it to my dentist appointment which is almost 7 miles from my home. I made it there and back just fine. Oh, and everyone in the dentist office LOVED my URB-E. It seems like everywhere I go, people stop me and ask about the URB-E. I am looking forward to many more adventures on it.

I purchased my Urb-e back in 2015 when they first came out. I have tried for almost 6(six) months to get a replacement battery. I have called the store, emailed and even called Sven. Can not get anyone to call me or or email me. No response from this company. Obviously going out of business. Dont buy from them. I agree with every negative add posted. Buyer beware.

Ive attempted to get information and start the sales process at this place 3 times, and NO help. The first 2 times my wife and I came in for more information and see about financing options. The last time my friend and I went in for more information because he was interested in purchasing one for his Metro commutes. I do recall getting a passing hey from someone inside but Im not sure if they worked there or not. The design and craftsmanship shows that this group is obviously engineering focused. However, they would be benefitted with ANY added influence of a friendly sales presence at the storefront location. I hope this takes place in the future, but giving it a 4th try is asking a bit much.

I purchased my URB-E scooter in Feb 2016 at the URB-E store in Pasadena, CA. The stores employee made sure the scooter would fit in the truck of my car before I purchased it. I have been using it weekly since. I teach college and use it when I cant find a parking space close enough to my car. It has been very reliable. URB-E replaced the initial battery under warranty as it was defective. Service has been excellent. Reliability has been excellent. Being I have limited walking ability, it has been a life saver. It was a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.

If i could give zero stars - I would have. Absolute worst customer service. Purchased an Urb-e and after 6 months it needed repair. Repair bill was $600+ after negotiation. Rode it for three more months and it broke again. They wanted $400+ to repair it this time. I could have purchased a new urb-e. It has been six months since i dropped it off for repair and still no information. They dont answer calls, dont return calls - Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase an Urb-e

He did an amazing job and I dont have to travel to LA any longer to get it serviced, he is located in orange county. I found this guy independently and he has experience with ebikes. Great around town. No problem what-so-ever, however, my main issue is transportation.You can take the Urb-e anywhere except on an airplane, which really defeats the main purpose I purchased the scooter. If I had been advised of that information before I made my purchase I more than likely would not have done so. To be fair, I didnt ask and I should have. Actually you can take the Urb-e on an aircraft, you just cant take the battery as it is rated at 360 Ah Lithium-ion. 300 Ah or less is OK for aircraft. I called and they stated it was a complicated issue and they had received several complaints about this. I dont see where the problem lies. If they have enough intelligence and means to make a 360 Ah battery, why cant they use that same intelligence and means to make one 60 Ah less? Makes sense to me. Therefore, rated at 3 stars.

I love my Urb-E, and the service here has been great. Im spoiled that I live in Pasadena and get to walk my Urb-E in if I need to. But after six months on my Urb-E, all Ive needed is to have fenders installed and the seat adjusted. Other than that, its been totally problem-free. True confession: sometimes I just stroll in to the store to talk with the staff if I need to kill time when my wife is shopping (as long as the staff doesnt seem to be busy). Theyre all fun people that have fun with what they do.

Ive had my urb-e for a year. Sure its fun to ride..but if it ever stops working you wont get any help from them....even if its under warranty.I contacted the support department and filed a support ticket. 3 weeks later, no response....but I got lots of emails from the sales people because I had gone to their website. I complained to them and was finally contacted by the support person Brandt. He asked questions via email which I answered but he said we needed to talk on the phone. He missed 3 phone appts. I finally called him and we went through the same questions I had already answered. They would send me a new battery with a new charger, he slipped and stated they had switched to a new battery. I assume my problem was common so they had to come up with a better battery. And he probably knew that from the answers I had originally given him!They dont have any though.He stated they were due in the next day (probably not). That was 10 days ago and I havent heard a word about when my new battery would be sent. I called today. No one answered and it went to voice mail....and they didnt even have the decency to return my call.I bought this because I live in an RV and it seemed like a easy solution to getting around without moving my whole house. Im trying to get on the road and have to wait for this stupid battery.Never seen such horrible customer service...unless you are a prospective customer and then they are all over you.Disgusted.Dont buy from these people unless, unlike me, you have money to throw away. This thing is worthless . 2 months since I first contacted them and no resolution!!!

Between the transit and the bike I get places faster paying less for parking and gas its a win win win win win all around. I even go to the hub in Pasadena like monthly. Lol. I enjoy it all . I went to the Urb-E location on 8/27/17 to purchase the Urb-E sport for $899. They didnt have it for sale to take home that day. The staff said it would take 2 weeks for them to build it. What kind of Mikey mouse business model do you all have going on there? I hope theres a company that can mass produce a similar product.

I was looking for a compact ride to travel to school and found out URB-E was down the street from me. I chatted with their sales staff online and they were very helpful. After chatting I decided to take an URB-E for a test ride to see if it was worth a $2k investment.I rode the Sport GT and the Pro GT to see what the differences would be like. The Pro GT definitely had more power behind it and rode much more comfortably. The only downfall for me was worrying about leaving a $2200 Pro GT URB-E chained up at school while in class. I eventually decided to go with a fixie bicycle so I could get a work out in and not worry about losing a few grand if my mode of transportation was stolen.I would definitely recommend it if youre able to secure the URB-E at work and home while using it to close the last mile of your commute. Im starting to see Bird scooters in the local area so the demand for URB-Es might fade away.

I really enjoyed using my urb-e around usc campus! It was easy and reliable. The only downside is that there are not many urb-e locations to park around campus so you typically have to squeeze between bikes on the bike rack. Overall, the performance of the urb-e was excellent and in general was a lot of fun!

Update: tried to call and email with no response, looked at webpage and see they only work 3 days a week now. I knew with all compitition out there they were on the way out but this soon. Lmfao. Maybe lower prices where we can fix and purchase, that or we all caught on and know all the parts are from China and cut out the overprice overcharge. Middleman and get what is the real prices. Bought tire for 3 bucks from China... Yours(still China) $50 and we. Pay for shipping both ways. Yall losersLets start by saying the scooter is great and fun. But the real issue comes when you need a repair done. You than look them up find support and write them an email, cause we have lives too, and ard inquiring. More than days pass and than a week and no response. So you write them again and another week passes. You call and they transfer you to support. Yay finally. So to change a tire on a URB-E they informed me it will be $50.00 and you need to either ship or personally take the whole scooter to them. If you ship you pay both there and back. Shipping for me one way was $75 so 200 by the time im done for a tire. And they charge 50 an hour and their some mechanic.... Its a scooter. I found the tire for $6.00 online. They say its built in the USA. Ok but all the parts are from China . wow. Oh so the turn around for me they said three days. No follow up at all. No customer service whatsoever. I had to call and call over and over to see where it was and if done. Most of them didnt even know. Finally got the scooter back in 3 weeks not including the weekend. Every part an URB-E as in motor. Throttle brakes, tires controller everything.... You can find online from china retailers. Learn

Probably one of the best investments I have ever made. Im a USC student, and walking to get to places is not very efficient. I used to be an avid skateboarder, but because of a recent foot injury I turned to URB-E as my way of efficiently transporting around campus and around the school. I could not be more satisfied.

Avoid at all costs. My battery has died repeatedly and after a year they are demanding $400 to replace the battery. They appear to be struggling and I expect they will be out of business very soon.I bought the POS at a charity event and registered it with URB-E. It worked for a few weeks before the battery gave up. The next battery held up for one charge then gave up. I left three messages with URB-E customer service, no one ever responded. When I sent someone from my office to pick it up, they treated him like he stole it. Probably because he didnt look like one of the geeks who normally rides these things.

I purchased a Pro GT model two months ago as casual transportation between local Sunrail stations and destinations near them. Its helped reduce my traveling times dramatically over short distances (versus running, walking or riding a bicycle) and Im no longer concerned about wearing business casual clothing and arriving to my destinations covered in sweat after using the URB-E in 95 degree weather with 95% humidity. Orlando is by no means a pedestrian or cycling friendly city, so I cant recommend the URB-E as a sole source of transportation in cities as dangerous to pedestrians as Orlando, but I think its a great means of transportation in bicycle friendly areas (i.e. motorsports venues, coastal areas, etc.).

URB-E is an electric scooter type transportation device. The storefront in Pasadena usually has stock available for immediate purchase. Very friendly and helpful staff, and you can take one for a test drive around the neighborhood.URB-E is foldable, light enough to carry, and is limited to 18 MPH, meeting current non-licence definitions.Not for everyone, as it is pricy. But it does offer convenient, eco-friendly, and very quiet transportation.Check out the website for more info. We bought one.

I love my URB-E. If your commute is 5 miles or so and you want a reliable form of transportation, this is the one. My URB-E has a basket and I can put all my bags in it and it is foldable so I can take it in the office with me.Unfortunately, some people in Los Angeles do not feel the same. I am getting comments (as I walk my URB-E crossing the street) and stares and it gets pretty frustrating at times. I wear a helmet and respect the rules of the road but the Bird and Lime scooters seem to have given every electric vehicle a bad reputation.A suggestion to the URB-E marketing team: please educate people so that they know that not all electric bikes are the same and that we dont all take the fall for the irresponsive and reckless teenagers riding the Bird and Lime scooters illegally.

If you’re on the fence, buy an Urb-E now! It will transform your commute and more.In a city where traffic is terrible, I was living near a light rail station that would save time. In spite of that, I found myself driving to work because getting to the station felt like a hassle in the mornings. The walk was in that awkward space between not close enough and not too far. Sometimes, I would even rideshare to the station.I started looking for something that could get me there without hassle and came across Urb-E online. I watched videos, read reviews, but kept debating if I should spend the money. When I thought about the time, gas, parking, and other expenses I would save, the decision to invest in an Urb-E became clear.Getting started was super easy. After minimal assembly and a full charge, I was ready to go. The roundtrip on my Pro GT is 2 miles on each side of a 20 minute train ride and much easier than driving. I go from home to my desk, no dealing with parking garages or bicycle storage. On top of that, riding Urb-E bypasses a crowded station where another connection is normally needed.When not in use, it fits at a desk or coat closet. The charge is pretty good but won’t last as long if you’re always going full throttle or up hills. The brake can be easily adjusted using a simple dial, and it’s good to periodically clean the disc with rubbing alcohol. I prefer the shock system and quicker acceleration of the Pro GT for my commute, but the other models felt great as well.I’ve been riding my Pro GT for half a year now, and it feels just as great as day one. I highly recommend buying an Urb-E and have had a great experience! In addition to commuting, it makes picking up dinner or running local errands much easier, quick in and out, and no delivery fees. My interactions with the people behind the product have also been awesome: Brandt, Kevin, Alex, Peter, Sven. From Service, Sales, CEO to Founder, you can see their excitement.

URB-E is not just a fold up electric scooter, it has completely reinvented urban transportation for me as a whole. The ease and versatility that comes with the URB-E has saved me thousands of dollars in gas, parking, ubers, and taxis all over the world and especially in my hometown.
