Friendly, experienced, and excellent repair service and scheduling. They dont try to make to fix things that arent broken. They dont try to take all your money by coming up with bogus repairs. They explain everything, provide you with options, including temporary ones until you can afford the major ones. Vehicle purchased was solid condition. Still take my car all the way out there because I trust them to do good work.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had buying a car! I had looked for MONTHS and ended up at Stewart Auto Group just by chance. Joe was wonderful, he not only listened to what I wanted, and found me something better than I was expecting. He also was fair and honest. He never once made me feel like I was being pushed into something I did not feel comfortable in. When I got my new car home, I realized the blower motor on the new car was not working. Joe and the Service Department got my car in and fixed ASAP, also giving me a loaner to make sure I was not inconvenienced anymore than necessary. I looked for four months for a newer truck. Stewart auto had by far, the best deal I had found.. I purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram with low miles, exactly what I was looking for. I bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze only had 49,000 miles on it, from Stewart Auto. When I first got the car a week into having it my windows wouldn’t roll back up and my battery died, during them fixing that problem I asked them about a loud knocking noise coming from my engine and they said it was normal for a smaller car. I went back to them a year later because my car had a check engine light on and saying service traction control, my car was not drivable. I paid them $800 to fix the problem, ended up having to go back a couple days later because it started doing it again. I paid them another $200-$300. Now after spending thousands of dollars in repairs the past two years my mechanic is telling me the whole engine needs replaced. My car now only has 70,000 miles on it and I’ve put thousands of dollars into this car and still have 4 years left to pay on it. It’s horrible and sad I’ve had to put thousands of dollars into this car and have only put a little over 20,000 miles on it. I called Stewart Auto telling them that it now needs a new engine, two different mechanic shops told me that because Joe told me to get a second opinion, so I did. He said I could bring it there but he wasnt understanding that it’s not drivable right now and I would have to get it towed there. I didn’t want to pay to get it towed there because anytime I have taken it to the shop to get it worked on there they make it worse and charge me money for it and I have to end up bringing it back because it wasn’t actually fixed the first time. He also told me it would be weeks before they could look at it. I told him I’m frustrated because I’ve been putting so much money into this car and when I came to him to buy a car I told him the only thing I wanted was something reliable and I didn’t have to put money into all the time, he said “it has been reliable”. This is not a reliable car to me! Having to replace a engine at 70,000 miles is not “reliable”.

Took my car for a oil change and tire rotation got my car back with the check engine light on and it smoking really bad under the hood also oil every where even on my window looked like something exploded Ok no big deal took it back they looked at it again cleaned the oil off. Said nothing was wrong check engine light was off Im now here for the 3rd time woke up from a nap and went to go to the store and my check engine light is on again I know they just hooked their code reader up and reset my check engine light took it to auto zone before come back here its reading air filter and mass air flow sensor mind you NOTHING was wrong with my car before coming here

Just a fantastic place to do business

We’ve had numerous dealings with Stewart and none of them were good. Our latest disappointment came after our Jeep broke down (which we bought from them). It took over two weeks with constant back and forth, sometimes days between return calls, just to end up moving our car somewhere else to get worked on. Not even the insurance adjuster could get ahold of anyone. They do not communicate with each other whatsoever. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else.

This dealership is the ABSOLUTE best dealership I have ever been to. The service given is AMAZING. You walk in as a customer and leave as a friend/family member. Joe was the greatest. He is honest, caring, straight to the point and has customer service at the forefront of his care. If you are in the market for a car... CALL THEM!

After buying a vehicle the battery died. After calling multiple times with no answer the staff finally got back to me (days) later and requested that I bring the car back in. I needed my son to remote jump the car in order to start it. Overall not a good experience would avoid if possible.

I received a mailer from Brad at Stewart Auto Group the day I left a major car lot in Columbus. I left the lot in Columbus very disappointed at the lack of integrity that the salesman and finance manager had shown. I was very forward with Brad and told him exactly the type of vehicle I was interested in. He said that he would begin working to locate a few vehicles that I could take a look at. At this point I was not yet a believer but Brad soon changed that. He began emailing me inventory pics and even located a vehicle that was not in their inventory that he could gain access to. Once I went to the lot the service I was met with was second to none and Joe in the finance office was amazing as well. About a week later the gentlemen delivered on their promise. They purchased the vehicle from another state, sent a driver to bring it back to their lot and gave it a quality check before I arrived. I am in the customer service business as a manager. I believe in every customer is as just important as the other. There is just customer service and then there is legendary customer service. Stewart Auto Group has that. I mean the whole staff has it . They are the best. I am from North Carolina and I have bought three cars from them now. The recent purchase was a 2013 wrangler unlimited. Every time I go in there they give you that wow experience. They treat you the best and cater to all your needs and wants in a car or truck. They treat you like they known you forever. There not pushy and they are truly genuine. Its not just one person there its the whole staff. I have to tip my hat to Joe Retort the finance guy and Bob Stewart one of the owners in particular. These two guys here set the bar on when purchasing a car from them. No dealership can touch there experience and cares for the customer. From the minute you walk on that lot to the minute you drive off that lot with that new car hands down they are the best. Ill drive over 500 miles again to buy my next car or truck from them. We had a great experience buying our Honda Pilot a few months ago. There was an issue with the windshield wipers just a few days after driving it home. They got us in quickly, let us borrow a loaner car, and expedited the work. As a courtesy, they changed the oil and detailed the car inside and out (a $100+ job) all for nothing. I was looking for a specific model civic and they tried to get close to the price with the next model up because they didnt have the one i wanted in stock. Got very close but i am in no hurry to get another vehicle so i told him to look for one and he is still working with me on fiding one. Very nice people.

Buyer beware! I purchased a GMC Acadia April 2018 from Stewart Auto Group and it ran for only four months before having a mechanical issue that no one can seem to fix, including a GM Certified dealership. The mechanics at Stewart Auto Group worked on my car for nearly a month and couldn’t it figure out, which is the most frustrating part because after explaining to the snake of a car dealer that I recently had a baby I needed a quality car for my family I was promised that I was buying a great car...in actuality I had issues with the after the first week I bought it, and the broke down with my family in it. When I complained about the quality of the car, I was reminded that I did in fact buy a used car and there is no guarantee on the quality of said used car. Long story short, I’m on the hook for a car that barely ran past my warranty and still doesn’t run. They don’t stand by the quality of their cars and will tell you anything to get a sale! Learn from my mistake BUYER BEWARE!

Great service I dont have great credit and they worked really hard to get me the best deal they could . We went in talked, they showed us a van we loved it but didnt think we could afford it . We are now the proud owners of a 2013 dodge van . Thanks again Reggie man you rock . And all the guys . We also had an issue when we test drove it and they fixed it before we even left .

Horrible experience....I will NEVER use them again! They do not stand behind their work they are NOT knowledgeable about cars and are extremely rudeFYI we went to Stewart Auto Group bc they were recommended to us by our bank USAA - I have filed a formal complaint with USAA...and will pursue to have them removed from the recommended dealership list.In May or June 2018 we bought a manual 2014 Honda Accord Sport but asked for the parking brake to be inspected and repaired/adjusted before taking ownership. When we got the car home the brake still felt lose but we chalked it up to the brakes being at the end of their life....6 months later the parking brake went out. We used 1st gear when parking until we were able to have the repair done today (ab 12 months after taking ownership)Today Rousch Honda of Westerville inspected the car and found the following (all affecting the parking brake Stewart supposedly inspected and repaired/adjusted)1) Rear Calipers are seized up2) 2 anchor bolts missing and 2 damaged3) rear/parking brake system leaking fluid4) rear pads installed BACKWARDSKeep in mind this is a MANUAL car...these rear brakes ARE the parking brake....I called and spoke with our salesman @ Stewart, Joe, in an attempt to get the repairs done (like we were originally promised) or at the very least be given a discount to have them done...he was rude, disrespectful and refused to take ownership of the problem. Here are the things he claimed:1) They didn’t do anything with the parking brake at all — despite us being told they had fixed the issue to the best of their ability...so they were dishonest?2) The problems were caused by the original owner and easily missed on inspection and when working on adjusting the brake — I find it hard to believe that a GOOD mechanic would miss a part being installed BACKWARDS3) The car worked fine when we took ownership so we must have done something in the last year - we have done nothing to the car other than normal maintenance (oil/rotations etc)...so he is accusing me of being a liar!4) The calipers were a completely separate part from the parking brake system and Rousch was trying to con us - again, this is a MANUAL car the rear brakes ARE the parking brakes!! (Speaking of trying to take my money read my side note below)BOTTOM LINE: Stewart Auto Group is nothing but your typical, run of the mill shady, slimy used car dealership. They are nice and polite when they want your money but when it comes to doing the right thing and standing behind their cars (thus retaining customers for life) they are rude, condescending and disrespectful...AVOID them if you’re looking for a long time relationship with a respectful, reputable and quality dealership.SIDE NOTE: I think it’s also important to point out that in June of 2018 I also took my 2013 Honda Odyssey to them bc the moon roof wouldn’t close. I was told it would be $2000+ Just to find out what the problem was bc the entire ceiling needed removed...I didn’t let them do anything to my car and then took it to Lindsay Honda to have them close it manually. Lindsey Honda round that it was a $50 button repair...when I told Joe ab that he claimed that Lindsey charged less bc Stewart did the diagnosis - nope! Stewart did nothing on my van and it’s clear that Stewart’s mechanics are the type to do unnecessary work just to con ppl out of their money! AVOID THEM!

I purchased a car from Stewart about 7 years ago and it was the best experience! Joe was amazing to work with and it is drastically different to work with someone who you can trust off the bat then the type of sales reps I have talked with in the past. I would personally recommend this location to anyone buying a car and personally refuse to do business with anyone else. The service department is above and beyond what you would expect. If my car breaks down on the side of the road I would pay whatever it took to get my car to Stewart versus take it anywhere else. I have had a friend buy from them and they took the time to teach her how to drive a stick shift because she was in love with a manual car. She had nothing but wonderful things to say as well and is so happy to have the car she bought. I am currently buying a second car from Stewart and worked with Ryan. He is a newer addition to their team and already fits in line with the level of service and patience the rest of their team sets as a constant standard. Anyone who has a negative word to say about this place is probably a hot head, anyone in their right mind would be thrilled to work with this team.

Its a used car dealership. The difference with Stewart is the friendliness of the staff and putting the customer first.

Not happy. Think I got sold a Lemon. Am spending over $2000 to fix the car I just bought in July. Keys, Floor mats, windshield wipers, no gas, throttle body, fuel pump, tank sensor, seat, wheel bearing, a/c heater system, the list keeps getting longer......I am not willing to take my car back to this dealership because it took them a week and a half to make things right the last time I dropped it off. Went to pick up it with absolutely no gas in my dirty car. Not a good experience.I just feel stuck!

I had two fantastic experences at Stewart Auto. Joe R sold me my car and he was knowledgable, efficient, and did not pressure me. When I had some trouble with the car soon after, he responded promptly to mty texts and arranged for the car to be serviced. The service guys, John, George (and Paul) were all friendly and helpful and got the job done. I highly recommend this place!

Hi,Did anyone else see this GRAND advertising flyer that came in the mail today ? WHAT JUNK... The flyer utilizes PAPER. METAL, and PLASTIC !!! Is this what I recycle for ???? This advertisement is COMPLETELY MISLEADING (are americans breeding DUMBER every year) this flyer pretty much hints that... QUIT WASTING OUR TIME AND VALUABLE NATURAL RESOURCES !!!!!!! I drove all the way out to look at a car and they lost the keys though the car was unlocked. The salesman had multiple excuses about the lost keys that included issues with new staff members, no managerial oversight and bonehead co-workers. The car smelled like some one had been smoking in it and it was filthy inside. Not the condition you would expect a car to be in that is up for sale. The other cars on the lot were not much better. They were all beat and just rough looking. I would suggest trying somewhere else.

It was an excellent experience. I got a flyer in the mail for a contest they are having and my numbers or my flyer mached one of there numbers. So I took my flyer in and one an MP3 player. They are having a great sale on cars an trucks whatever you would like to drive. The sales man a younger guy he gave me my prize asked my name and we started talking never once did he try to sell me any cars but he said when I want and im ready to get a vehicle to come back and see him. Im sure to go back when I want a new truck. If you want a car try here first Im sure you will like the experience. 👍👍

At the beginning they were nice, but after we left they never call us back with an answer. We try to contact them and the sales person never returned the calls. It was a really dissapointing.

I got my car 12/30/13 from Stewart Auto Group and had a very good experience. My application was approved in one day and I drove home in a vehicle that same day. They worked with us on a down payment and monthly payment that we can afford. I dont have great credit but they worked hard for my husband and myself and got us approved for a vehicle that is not a piece of junk. The few things that we found that needed fixed after we drove the SUV home were taken care by Stewarts even though it was not under warranty. Vance, our salesman, and Joe, who helped us with finance, were exceptional and easy to work with. They walked us through each step as we went. Ive had a lot of problems with buying used cars from lots in the past and this has been a blessing. Thank you Stewarts.

If I could write this a zero star I would! I took my sons car into be repaired originally in January for what we understood as a possible fuel pump issue. After their assessment which took several weeks I was told that there was multiple issues with wiring because of rodent damage to different locations around the car. After looking over the damages I was told several more weeks later that the fuel pump and computer needed replaced and 46 wires needed repaired to resolve the issues. I told them to repair the damages and look over the whole car to make sure the vehicle was safe for my son to be able to take his drivers exam. Through this process I had to make 4 trips to their shop and multiple failed attempts by phone to get answers to the progress of the car. Twice i was told that all the items had been completed only to show up and have the car shut off or not be ready as told.During this time I was givin untold amounts of excuses for the delays and failed work which continued to happen each time. I was told 2 of three mechanics quit, the service manager lied (john) by other employees, mechanics were sick, had to go to court! Etc. I had to keep constently asking about status with no reolve over 3 months. This was unacceptable and I made several attempts to speak with the owner and his son. On on attempt, Don the owner, accually hung up on me!I decided to take it to a different shop to get a second opinion on the repairs and what had been done. With in one hour after looking at the car they had determined the issues and explained that the cars wiring had been done incorrectly in multiple areas and some had been disconnected completely. I cannot explain how frustrated that made me. The Stewart auto group owners have still not returned any of my calls since I explained what was discovered. I have even returned to the shop to show them the paperwork and no one wants to help, they just refer me to the owner Don, even his son!I would not recommend this shop ever and would pled with anyone who has had similar issues to report them to the BBB.

If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. They are nothing but liars and scammers, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. I was a first time car buyer so I made all the mistakes they wanted me to. I didnt get the carfax, I didnt get to demo it, the interest rate was jacked up high as hell, the car mileage was INSANE; 2012 Chevy Cruze with almost 90,000 miles, WHAT THE HELL? Im basically paying 16,000 dollars for a 8,000 dollar car.When I signed the paperwork the guy tried to tell me not to pay it off quickly because your credit score resets every 7 years. If I had the money I would sue for all the weasly scummy things they did to me. They had me waiting at a desk for like 4 hours while they worked out a deal with the bankThe first night I drove the car it COMPLETELY FAILED. The engine was overheating, everything shut down, coolant was leaking, they had to tow it in for repairs; which I can only assume they duct taped it as a fix because they dont want to spend a dime. They should have inspected the car before giving it to me.Dont waste your time, dont buy a car from them, they are nothing but scammers. I hope karma has their way with them some day.Edit: Even if you look at their responses on the reviews here you can see for yourself they are unprofessional and dont give a crap about their customers.
