I recently attended an 11 day training that included firearms and tactics training, training in a curriculum for employment as well as CPR and First aid training. I recently retired from the NYPD after a 27 year career and was pleasantly surprised by the things that i have learned in this class. I highly recommend this training facility, the instructor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Being a rookie shooter, I went on Google and typed in rifle training on long island. Craigs establishment was the first to come up. So I gave him a call, inquiring about his beginners course. I told him what I know and what I need to learn. He invited me down on a scheduled date, for some 1-on-1 learning. We went over everything I needed to learn and he was extremely patient, thorough while explaining, and detailed. And best of all he did this all out of the kindness of his heart. NO CHARGE! Ive been receiving my armed security training with Craig for 15 years, and hopefully another 15 years, wait, I dont want to be doing this at 77 !! all jokes aside, I will never go anywhere else, for my training. I apply so much, of what I have learned from Craig, in the daily performance of my duties. Craig always provides a comfortable, non-robotic learning environment, which helps the time pass. He shares informative stories, of his law enforcement experiences, also including many humorous tales, and instills, a common sense approach to the security field. While addressing the class, he often leaves us with situations, that we often sit back and think wow! this could really happen. I drive 32 miles to attend his annual classes, there are other companies, that offer security training, but none like Craigs. There is one downside, he hasnt served coffee and donuts in 14 years !! Out of 5 stars, I give him 6. He is my friend, my teacher, a great human being, and a better shot with my gun, than I am.

I recently finished my 47 hour armed guard training course with Craig and what can I say, other then it was absolutely amazing. I am a Marine and served 4 years. This was one of the most professional classes I’ve ever been apart of. His knowledge of firearms and tactics was on par and in some aspects surpassed even what I learned in the infantry. There was a lot of range time and actual firearms coaching, Craig pays attention to detail, which was perfect for me and exactly what I was looking for.

I have been shooting pistols at the gun range for over thirty years without any professional training. Im an active NYPD Detective and the city has too many people to qualify thus shooting at a still paper target while standing still is not exactly conducive to what a real life scenario could potentially be. Im a NYS Law Enforcement/ Peace Officer and today I attended a Use of Force Seminar. The information in this class is of extreme value especially due to the political climate of today where law enforcement officers are losing their jobs and even their lives due to hesitation to act or lack of training in the use of force. In todays day, law enforcement agencies are not giving their officers/ agents sufficient training in this area in hopes that officers will not use force. This is backfiring big time because with this job, you have to use force in certain situations and hesitating will get you hurt or killed. Not knowing how to articulate or how to act in a use of force can cause you to lose your job and even face criminal charges.ANY OFFICER OF THE LAW THAT HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THIS CLASS, AND DISREGARDS IT IS AN IDIOT IN MY OPINION. THE CLASS WAS FREE AND THE INSTRUCTOR HAPPENS TO BE A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT IN THIS AREA!I left this class with a lot more confidence with using force and being able to properly articulate all the facts.THIS CLASS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT WHO HAS TO USE FORCE DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR DUTIES!

I took my 8 hour class and my 16 hour class with firearms tactics and training the teacher is the real deal he will keep you alive in a bad situation I will be doing my annual 8 hrs from now on if you want the best go hear the wast time i no i will get a job and keep it.
