Neet is one of the few guys left in the business who is knowledgeable and passionate about what he sells. His bourbon selection is undeniably the best on Long Island and he doesn’t play secondary market pricing games. He’s had at least 10 barrel picks so far through 2021 and doesn’t look to be slowing down. The only bad part is that I can’t leave without buying more than I planned on…

It really is a great store. Neet and staff are pros. Their whiskey selection is amazing and frequently changing. Not just the same-old bottles. Theyve even helped me find certain things that Ive been looking to try that werent easily accessible.I hunt for certain bottles all over the island and Burroughs and have walked out of many stores laughing at their ridiculously high prices. So Bansum was suggested to me by a friend and boy ohh boy am I happy I stopped in and met Neet. First experience when walking in was being greeted to a table filled with store picks and a sweet lady offering to let me try. Ive found so many Whisky bottles ive been looking for and Neet is always bringing in new barrel picks. It would require me to write a full article to tell how much there is about Bansum that I love. This place has all the exclusives. During new years I got a chance to get some hibiki 17, and for my brothers birthday, the owner was able to get me a three layered Tequila Piece . Hes a really nice guy, and unlike most places, he can place special orders. I would recommend him for any type of liquor, and if he doesnt have it, hell special order it for you.

A hidden gem of a store. Bansum from the outside just looks like another liquor store, but once inside, you find it is much more. Bansum is one of the only stores on Long Island that actually KNOWS Whiskey! Owner Neet Singh has a vast knowledge of all wines and liquors, but especially Bourbon and Rye. This is one of the few stores on the island that does multiple store pick barrels of bourbon and other whiskeys! Not to mention, said picks are excellent. If you want a knowledgeable store owner and a fantastic selection, Bansum is the store to hit.

This place is the worst online liquor store I have ever seen. It took over 2 weeks to ship my order. Once it shipped I found out that 3 items had been deleted. They never contacted me to see if I still wanted the order or if I wanted to substitute for other items. The whole reason I placed the order was for 1 of the items they deleted. Never again!!!!!

When I found out Bansum had the whisky I wanted, I decided to fly from Chicago to NY to pick it up (sounds crazy but I did). Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner who was super friendly and welcoming. Not only I got a great deal on the whisky, I was offered to try variety of samples while I visited the store (even offered food). Im so glad I found Bansum. Excellent selection of hard to find stuff and most importantly customer service that is unparalled! Those of you curious, this review is not based on just one visit, I been back a few times since my first visit in the past 4 months. Keep up the great work!

I love this wine and liquor shop!! I went in looking for some wine and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The manager helped me select a Cabernet and Malbec that was some of the best Ive had. Their selection is great and prices are very fair. Never going anywhere else for wine. Love this place!! Hands down the best liquor store around. You wont find a staff that is more customer orientated. When you walk in youre always greeted, if you have any questions they answer all with knowledge and if they dont know they go above to find out for you. They are not there to take all your money, in fact once I was looking for a specific kind of alcohol and they suggested I try another, less expensive type. The taste was equilivant to the more expensive brand. Go here for your liquor needs, I promise you wont be disappointed!

Love love love Neet and his staff! Always a great experience here. We recently moved to L.I. and stopped in to check out the selection, and were immediately greeted with a sample of whiskey specials along with recommendations and friendly employees. The following time we came back, owner Neet remembered exactly what wed bought the first time off the top of his head - despite them being busy with tons of customers all the time so I dont know how he does it! - and offered to special order us a type of gin I had my eye on, without hesitation. Hes got real integrity, a true passion for fine spirits and definitely knows his alcohol! He also has the finger on the pulse when it comes to upcoming events and seasonal items at all the distilleries. This is without question, THE place to buy all your alcohol!!!
