If you read the other comments, youll see that Bill is a skilled mechanic & kind person. HOWEVER, if youre planning to drop off your car, you should make an appointment. If you cant reach him by phone, stop by early in the week and ask what day he might be able to work on your car. Fridays seem very busy, so I wouldnt recommend bringing your car in then. Theres no guarantee on quick turnaround time, it depends on the size of the job & volume of other cars. Bills normally a quiet guy who will treat you with respect, so if you happen to hear him raise his voice, its probably because of the nonsense he encounters in customers. Dont be one of those rude customers--for the sake of Bill, his employees/business, and his family.

Bill is honest to goodness one of the best people Ive had the pleasure of knowing. A top notch mechanic, on top of that his helper Tommy is one of the most skilled and ingenious mechanics around, a man with a god given gift. Go by BK Auto, these guys give Paterson a good name and show that there are still some real mechanics around!

Bill is an exceptionally intelligent man with tremendous knowledge of his craft. Hes not only an excellent mechanic, hes an incredible human being. Took my car to a local mechanic and when I got it back, it was running worse than when I brought it in. A friend suggested that I bring it to BK, so I did. Bill got into my car and within minutes replaced a part, told me to take it for a ride and let him know how its running. It ran better than when I purchased it used. The price for the repair was insanely reasonable. LORD willing, Bill will be around for the rest of my car driving days. Ill never go anywhere else. God Bless Bill.
