Was told my two boards were going to cost 30.00 and I said fine and went to pay for the boards and was told 130 dollars just for two shelves. Ridiculous.

Im not entirely sure why this keep happening, but this experience has happened more than once. Ive walked in to ask for wood. This time it was a 3/4 piece of sanded birch plywood, the price I was quoted: 89.99$Now... I wrote it off to inflation but thats incredibly ridiculous so I walked out thinking to price check other places. I check Home Depot in Ceres. Same piece: 54.99$. So ok, maybe they misunderstood about the board size? I dunno, but its also not the first time this has happened. Last year I went in for a simple 2x4 as that was the place I was closest and was quoted a price of 18.99$, so instead went to True Value in town and bought the piece for less than 10! Its consistently perplexing to me why this place has such a massive price discrepancy.

This place is awesome. Great customer service always greets me when I walk in, very knowledgeable. They usually have everything I need for my projects. Always recommend ways to help me On projects I don’t know. Happy there here.

Kids working here, Be careful even if you take a sample If anything goes wrong it’s on you and the delivery charge went up I got charge delivery charge twice paid more for delivery charge then the item that I was buying not very professional prices are high next time I’ll go to the Home Depot it’s worth the drive.

Prices not always marked and high prices on some things.

Thankful that Patterson has a real lumber yard. The box stores just cant offer the same service and often I find the lumber yard is less expensive on many items.
