Very poor communications.Wanted a oil change and when I showed up at 9am they had a sign on the door saying “Not opening Friday until 9:30am”.Well finally at 9:40 they showed up. After they took my information and inspected my big she took my keys and said we’ll call you when it’s ready. I then asked what time and the lady said sometime next week, but they will call me.Why was I told to be at the shop at 9 and why didn’t they tell me they don’t do same day oil changes. The longest it took to do my previous oil change was 20 minutes.Small shops not anymore!

So, I purchased my first bike from this place late summer. As you can imagine, I was really excited but had that experience temporarily halted because of the poor customer service. Although, Caroline and I eventually established a mutual understanding, I initially did not feel valued as a paying customer. In fact, it was actually the mechanic (an army vet) that restored any hope this place had of still receiving my business (coupled with the fact this was the only place that had my bike in stock over a 500 mile radius). All in all, I hope this place realizes that establishing rapport is just as important as selling a product.

I was going to come here today but after reading all these reviews I’d rather take my business elsewhere thanks to all the honest people rating places I’d rather boycott places like this Hope your business falls as a half owner you should show more gratitude that your customers would consider to choose you 👎🏽✌🏽

I went on Yamahas website to research new bikes... I decided on the Bolt and was excited about the financing offers listed... When I went to find a dealer near me, it pointed me to Wheels of Freedom. I drove to the dealer expecting to purchase a bike. Much to my surprise the female sales associate (shes possibly the owner) was anything but friendly or accommodating I inquired about the offers I read on Yamahas website, and she rudely told me that she doesnt participate in their installment program, but had some higher cost credit card option instead. I asked her to to explain that to me, but she was generally uninterested in me as a customer... It was a bizarre experience..... So I walked out.

Its a shame that I have to write this but ive tried to give this shop a chance for years. I live literally 3 blocks from this shop and drive by it 2-3x a day for the last 5+ years. I have 2 bikes in my garage and I literally drive them 40 minutes each way to have them serviced.I refuse to purchase anything from this place any longer. The woman behind the counter should be fired but I assume shes related to the mechanic (who ive heard good things about).Ive brought SEVERAL customers to your door over the years and every time they are either looked down on or given rude looks or even as low as to commenting on two of the same part at different prices asking if my friend could afford something better. Really?Last time I brought my bike there for an inspection it was like pulling teeth for her to come out. I own several businesses so I NEVER write reviews (this might be my 3rd in 10 years) but this place should be avoided.Even better, after everything over the years and 4-5 times I have been there and left disappointed, I sent an email and a message asking if there is someone else I could speak with and have work done, since I could literally walk my bike to their shop, but no response. Some businesses are just stuck in 1985 and dont realize the power of customer service in 2020. Literally paying more to go elsewhere just to avoid this place. What a shame too.. been in business for decades.Adding to this in response to owner response:Yes covid has made business hard but I havr had issues with you since I visited 5 years ago. I have tried every year to buy parts, get service and even sent someone to buy a bike. Every time I am there you are rude and unprofessional. Period. I emailed multiple times recently to see if you wanted to make it right and no response. When I finally give up after 5 YEARS if trying and post a negative review.. You respond instantly here. I hope that the next owners value their customers more than you do. Its a shame too because your mechanic is awesome. Youre just a miserable person as Im sure youve realized in the reviews and comments. Lost thousands in recurring revenue because of your attitude alone.

Just bought a 2017 leftover from them. I was shocked in a good way. They gave me a great price and didnt add any freight, prep or doc fee. Very refreshing way to purchase a motor vehicle of any type.

Absurd pricing/rates for servicing. Female in charge was super unprofessional too. Blown away by that all. However the gentleman who did service my bike was courteous overall and answered questions for me etc. Honestoy i wont be gpimg back though. Need to improve quality of care if you arent going to lower the pricing. You want high end service if youre paying upwards of average retail charges.
