Easy and efficient place to turn scrap metal around the house to cash. I called a few other scrap/recyclers for their prices for metals (mine was copper). They were not quite as good as Bergers, also others were flexible as they gave a range and not a set price for the type of material I was bringing. I felt comfortable dealing with Josh, an not having a lot of experience in scraping material, this was important to me. Also got a recommendation on someone to do my roof. Will see how that works out...

Over the past few years we have a variety of items to recycle, from 4000 pound machines to truck full of cardboard and they are always helpful, fair, and willing to explain the details. They make recycling very easy. The workers there are always friendly even if they are super busy. For what seems like a tough business they are a pleasure to work with. Ive worked with other recyclers in the past and not had that same experience. I highly recommend using them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Berger over the last 6 months on a large scale project at multiple sites between RI & MA. We removed over 300 dumpsters of demo/wood/metal over the length of the project and could not have done it as efficiently and cost effectively if it was not for there staff and expertise. I rarely ever leave a review for any type of business but Berger deserves one. been ive been scrapping for the better part of a decade, this by far is what are the best yards Ive ever been too. Fast, polite and great prices on your metals. If your into picking theyve got a great pile for you too find goodies.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Had a load of over 200lbs and they gave me $12.50. I was absolutely shocked when the lady handed me my money. This was my 1st and last visit here. Not friendly at all. I scrap year round and have never been so low balled.

I contacted Berger about the cost of scrapping a catalytic converter. Adam promptly responded and let me know that once the weekly pricing sheets came out he would contact me. Within hours Josh had gotten back to me with a quote. Although I ended up not doing business with them (the $ i would get for the cat wasnt worth the trip for me), they were both very pleasant and professional. Great customer service is hard to come by these days. I would do business them in the future if the need were to arise.
