The best French fries ever! Perfectly crisp and my BLT was excellent. Just the right toasting on the bread and perfect amount of mayo. Yum. Hubs had Friday fish fry and clam chowder and he rated them a 10. Fish was very tender good flavor on the Cole slaw. Service was terrific. Been a regulcar stop for many years but living in the area now well definitely enjoy it more
It was pretty busy for lunch. We had to wait a while till we got our order in. Overall it was neat and clean. Dont forget to bring your antacid and the burgers was a bit try I had to Swiss mushroom burger and I could count my mushrooms.

They ONLY take cash!!Yummy! yummy! They definitely feed you. No little portions. Home made everything!!! Chicken fried stake- home made. Black berry pie- home made. Battered fish - you guessed it battered in house. Cole slaw home made. Everything is home made. There is also some extra little items to look at on you way out the door. Jewelry that is locally made.One big thing to keep in mind when you visit they ONLY take cash!!!!
Nice portion size and the booths are fairly large if you are a big person. I travel through Payson several times a year and just never stopped here for some reasonWe stopped in with a group of 8. While this is a small place they were very accommodating and handled it like professionals. Our drinks stayed full.Most of the guys had the chicken fried steak. It was very good. Homemade biscuits.Great prices but this place is mostly just cash only from what I understood before I got there. They were taking debit cards when we were there. This likely had something to do with the ATM being out of service.Plenty of parking for the size of the place. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend

Went here 2x while on a weekend trip to Payson--loved it both times. Perfect little small town cafe with spectacular service and great tasting food. The wait staff was so kind and accommodating to every allergy I run into with breakfast (its the hardest meal for me to find a place to eat at). Luckily they have oatmeal! And it was delicious. Got it both times I came. It comes with cinnamon apples, brown sugar, and raisins (I skipped them this time, just wasnt in the mood). Highly recommend if youre stopping in Payson for breakfast and want a quiet little spot to enjoy your morning in peace.
Quintessential small town cafe. Staff is deadly efficient and exceedingly friendly. Might be mind readers-offer exactly what you need before you think to ask.We had the turkey club and the minestrone soup. Can’t get over how fresh the soup was- big hearty chunks of vegetables and rich tomato broth. It hit the spot after a weekend of fast food.Be aware: it is a touch crowded inside, and they are cash only. An ATM is inside with about $2.50 fee when I used it. Totally worth it though. This is obviously a local hotspot for a reason!

Traveling through town, we walked in to ask for iced tea to go. When my son laid eyes on the waffle and we smelled the deliciousness inside the cafe, we decided to stay!Biscuits and gravy, fried eggs, delicious country potatoes, oh, and the waffle! The service was friendly and prompt, small town atmosphere, everyone was a local!

My momma LOVED this place! Today marks one year ago that I took her there (October 11, 2020) for her 90th birthday for the amazing chocolate shakes she soooo enjoyed. And the service is always excellent. My mom passed away just a month after that visit. And today Id like to thank Beeline Cafe for adding so much pleasure to my moms final birthday. ❤
Stopped in just by chance..wanted a cheeseburger after looking at the menu I decided on fish and chips and hubby decided on bbq beef sandwich..it was delicious!!! Big portions..happy staff, old time feel of cafes back in the day...Definitely the place to get great food at reasonable prices...5 stars for sure!!

Classic Diner, completely vintage. Food is everything youd expect classic diner food to be. This place was pretty busy but got to spend in a reasonable amount of time. Service was good, cash only so if you dont want to pay to use their ATM bring cash.
The food quality here is startlingly poor. I get why people like this place: it’s right off the Beeline Hwy, it’s got an old-timey rustic feel, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Our food came out quick, but I was surprised at how cold my eggs and hash browns were. The portion sizes were almost as disappointing as the lackluster flavor and presentation.Honestly, their coffee is the the worst I’ve had in a long while. It was extremely watered down, flavorless, and tasted like it had been ground about a month ago. Come on guys… I want to support local, but y’all are falling behind. You’re a restaurant for heavens sake, and food and drink are like the one thing you’re supposed to do well. It’s like you’ve given up on yourselves. Well, that makes two of us.Cash only, btw. Great spot for breakfast. Cornbeef hash and eggs was delicious but the biscuits and gravy were a let down. No flavor and kinda soupy. Waitress didnt seem happy to be there but she was good.
Well come ked plenty of coffee. The breakfast special is great for 8 bucks. 4 sausage 4 sourdough toast and hash browns and 2 eggs.

The staff is friendly and the food is great!-As an added bonus, if you are traveling with pets, they have a pet-friendly outdoor area with shade and tables where they will bring your order out to you!
Old timey diner. Good was pretty good. The place was a little dirty for my taste. Dirty bus pans sitting in the walkways. Condiment containers hadnt been cleaned in a long time. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced.

Stopped in for dinner and it was so delicious! My husband had steak, I had chicken fried steak, and our kids had chicken, a burger, and kids meals and they all ate everything! The waitress was working very hard and was so sweet! Highly recommend for a feel good atmosphere and delicious food at an affordable price! We will be back!

If this place has been here forever and every time we drive by we mention that we should give it a try. We finally did and it was a good Experience. It is considered quite historic but other people might look at it as just showing its age If. Food was good service was excellent. However it is small and noisy If in the air conditioner couldnt keep up with the heat. This place is not wheel chair friendly.. There is not enough room between the booths for a wheelchair and the door to the restrooms also would not allow for a wheelchair

Great service, cute historical and cozy clean place. CASH ONLY, ATM on site. No Covid masks required, the place was busy but lots of seating. The food was good and was served quickly. We were looking for a local place to eat when visiting the snow from the Phoenix Valley. This place was open for indoor dining which is rare right now during covid and fit the bill nicely.
Super fast service, filling portions, and delicious food!! The chef is amazing and even asked us what we thought of the meal, flashing a friendly thumbs up or thumbs down after we were served. The server was super friendly and had our orders down in front of us before we even returned from the restroom to wash our hands. The blackberry pie was to die for and had an astounding ratio of fruit to crust! Thumbs way up for our meal at Beeline and really anything on the menu!!

Update! As the meal went on, I noticed the bus boy used the same dirty rag to clean every table. He never washed his hands, not foe 45 minutes. Put his fingers in cups to carry them. Freaking GROSS! Not acceptable. With it without COVID ..Ignore this: Clean diner, menus on point and priced cheap! Somewhat Covid compliant, 1 cook no mask. Hostess no mask. It’s Payson so that’s not bad.

This small mom and pop place served the best fish and chips I ever ate. The service was friendly and quick. The pie was homemade and so fresh. Everyone loved their food. And on the way out I bought custom had made jewelry from the nicest American Indian man. If youre in Payson definitely put this on your places to eat.
Food was very bland. Restroom had a terrible stale urine smell. Business does not accept cash so you get surprised with this when you pay. This place makes a killing on their convenient cash machine. Only positive was the friendly service.

This place is probably really a 2.5. The staff is friendly, but the food just isnt that good. There were 6 of us, so it took a little while to get a table. They do offer breakfast all day, which is nice. My wife and I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. The corned beef was just ground up salty meat smashed flat on the cooktop, couldnt really tell it was corned beef. The eggs were a little undercooked. So the plate was a little disappointing.Its a quaint little place that has been around forever, so worth trying at least once.
I have been to beeline hwy cafe all my life even when my dad was alive it came our families long time favorite restaurant and the food wonderful. But one thing ladies who wears leggings wear a long shirt over it. But its a grreat place

Great little establishment in Payson. Beeline Cafe has been a fixture in the community since 1962 and family-owned since that time! We stopped in on our way through town late in the evening after reading the great reviews. They serve breakfast all day so we had a good sampling of breakfast and dinner dishes. The pancakes and French toast are great, as are the rueben melt and green chili chicken soup. Sooo good. But the star of the show was definitely their dessert!! Make sure you get an old-fashioned shake (the strawberry has actual strawberries in it, none of the flavoring stuff) or a piece of pie (or both!) and enjoy the conversation with the employees, who are awesome, friendly, and make you feel like a part of their family too! Will make this a regular stop on our way through Payson in the future!

The food was good and very good biscuits. Very fast service. Our sour-mouth waitress was just unpleasant. However, I did see she was friendly to others, most likely locals. The hostess was very warm and friendly.
They advertised having ribs on several windows. So we tried to order them and they said we stop serving them. Even when we walk to the door they had a big sign that said ribs. It was pricey for the food we got. Service was okay..

They are cash only so make sure to bring some but its very inexpensive! Got two slices of pie, lemonade and coffee, a great hamburger and French dip sandwhich for 30$ and thats a LOT of food!
Good, honest, home-cooked breakfasts, lunch, and dinner on specific days. It opens at 6AM and has later hours on some days. The food is done right the first time and is served hot if its supposed to be. Reservations are not taken. Parking is adequate, but the lot is shared by another business. Outdoor dining is available on the picnic tables in the rear and is pet friendly. The waitstaff is friendly and fun and know their stuff. They are known by many of the customers, so one knows that the food is delicious if the locals eat there. Coffee is good and the waitstaff sees that your cup is never empty. Restrooms are clean and adequate. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Credit cards are not accepted.

The staff is friendly and the food is tasty. Id call it classic dinner food. I had the steak sandwich (pic below) which was good, but a bit gristly. The reason Im rating at 4 starts instead of 5 is two fold: 1) the atmosphere of the place was run down. 2) they dont accept credit cards. In 2019. Im mean seriously, you can accept credit card payments on a phone. Theres no excuse in my opinion.
