Pictured a Huarache. Good assortment of Latin goodies in the store. Lunch was good, to be honest the cheese they use is a bit tasteless, but tortillas are hand made, made to order, couldnt ask for better. My kids want to go back!

I had La Mexicana on a list for a while because Im on the lookout for a cemita sandwich. We drove 90 minutes for the cemita, so imagine my disappointment when the guy said theres no cemita. We were very sad and was going to just leave but decided to try the steak burrito and the steak huarache. It wasnt a cemita but it was a damn good flavorful burrito. The huarache is hard to find and it was one of the best, with a homemade bean filled corn tortilla topped with lettuce, onion, steak, and corona. There is some confusion about paying because you have to go to the front of the grocery store to pay after you eat. Make sure to ask for your food ticket when you order. Not sure I will be willing to drive that far for the disappointment of not getting a cemita, but if I lived near Peachtree City, will definitely eat here again for authentic Mexican food.

This is the most authentic Mexican cuisine in town, probably the county and south Atlanta. Very low key food counter in the back of the market. We got a sampling of a few dishes and all were delicious!

Pulling up to this place it does not look like much, its in one of the oldest strips of shops in Peachtree City.Its a cool little Hispanic grocery store with little secret. A very good little restaurant tucked into the back corner that serves up some amazing food.Truly a hidden gem.If you looking for a some good tasting authentic food give it a try. Also, look around the store for a treat while you wait on your food.

We recently moved here from Chicago and was looking for good authentic Mexican food and finally found it. DELICIOUS 😋

I only gave it one star because I had to. Our server was incompetent. My food came to the table well after my boyfriends and it was wrong so got sent back and I changed it to a really simple two tacos with only meat and cheese. The tacos came to the table, once again, wrong. They took them back and the ones without lettuce never arrived. We ended up paying $30 for his food and one margarita (that also had to be sent back because the server forgot the alcohol in the whole glass of mix) and I ended up eating taco bell. Not exactly what we planned for date night. I would stay as far away from this place as you can.

I go here to shop at the grocery store and eat in their small restaurant. When you need the right ingredients to prepare your Mexican dishes, this is where you should shop. If you want to eliminate the cooking, just order from their kitchen and you will not be disappointed. Tacos, tamales, burritos and their prepared dishes are very good and certainly better than the ordinary you find in common Mexican restaurants here in the south. If you enjoy Mexican food and want to experience a better authentic meal, you should try this place.

What a great community store. Great selection of items and authentic food prepared on the spot just how you like it. The people are all great. Skip the chain restaurants and go get some authentic Mexican dining! Also, there is indoor and outdoor seating which is a great plus. Highly recommend!

Delicious on top of delicious. Great prices! Plus- it’s not only a restaurant, but a store too! Every time I have gone, I have gotten the Beef burrito with just beef, cheese, lettuce, rice, and cream. The first time I tried it, I was so surprised at how good it was...I would come to La Mexicana over ANY Mexican restaurant around! Try it when you have a chance!!

This store is excellent! The staff is friendly, very helpful, & there are plenty of authentic latin options. The restaurant is excellent as well.

I love everything about this place. The food is so good - the salsa verde makes me smile. The only downside about their success is that now the place packs out! But I do enjoy seeing nice people do well. Its good that theyve expanded the eating space and added more seating!

My wife and decided to try La Mexicana due to all of the good reviews. However our experience was far from good. First the place is dirty, food on the floor, un-wiped tables even after I asked ours to be cleaned. All that aside, our food, two tacos each took 30 minutes. Once it arrived and after two bites I noticed a hair embedded in my taco. I showed the staff, they didnt seem to care. We were done at that point, couldnt eat the majority of our meal too grossed out. No discount, no apology. First and LAST TIME FOR US.

This is reminiscent of a bodega. Its a tiny supermarket, meat deli and restaurant all in one. If youre looking for an authentic Mexican store in peachtree city this is the only place available.My wife and I went there looking for hortacha ingredients and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of products.Its well worth the visit to support this little mom and pop store and keep them in business.

Well, normally I love this place but tonight I am very disappointed. I ordered my usually pork tacos and the meat tasted like the left over pieces that should have been thrown out days ago. It was so tough and dry. I also ordered the tamales and there was hair in the one my son was eating! We have been eating here since I discovered it last year and have never had a bad experience until today. Theres not too many authentic restaurants so this was a let down.

Just wow! This one of our favorite places to eat Mexican and we drive 45 mins just to get there. The portions are ample and the food is always amazing. The staff is outgoing and friendly, well worth the trip and always a great meal.

Awesome food, about as authentic as you will get. First time I have had Chilaquilles Mexicanos that the chips were not soggy and very crunchy. Never ever thought there was such thing as soft corn tortillas, which are hand made and hand pressed, and the best when used with a fajita. Their drink selection is awesome too.

Their tortas and carne asada are fantastic. Real mexican food. Also you can grab a liter of Sidral Mundet; a delicious flavored apple soda and Inca Kola here - soda from Peru that tastes like bubble gum. Delicious, only problem is they get busy at meal times!!
