I was able to get an appointment quickly and efficiently. The doctor was caring as well as being exceptionally knowledgeable. She made me feel at ease from her initial greeting in the reception area all the way through the examination.

So I called and made a appointment a friendly voice answered she said she could schedule appointment the same day or my earliest convenience.When I came to my appointment a nice front end receptionist greated me and had my temperature checked.my check-in was quick..after I meet Ryan he was very nice and was very informative he asked me to wash my hands and how he can help me I told him I came in for a audiogram test for work he said that he needed to check my ears and clean them before we could start the test when he was cleaning I didnt feel any discomfort and if I wasnt so fascinated by the screen that was hooked up to the camera going in my ear Im sure I would of went to sleep. I look forward to going back and I already told all my family they should go to FAMILY HEARING AID CENTER.

Been putting this off for about 40 years and decided to finally do something about it.The knowledge and service from Ryan is very outstanding! Appointments were on time. Temperature was taken at the front door and handwashing required before entering the exam room. I liked the attention to hiegene. The front desk personnel were very helpful and efficient. Paul, my hearing audiologist, was jovial and easy to talk to. He was attentive and professional. The exam was quick and efficient. Overall the visit was a great experience. I highly recommend this to everyone with hearing deficiencies.

My grandma was able to get her hearing checked here and has great things to say. It was a profesional and complete and educational exam. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. I really Paul and the staff from Family Hearing Center-Pearl City for their great service.After I purchased my hearing aids from Family Hearing Center 2 years ago, they service the hearing aids and me free every 3 months. They clean the wax out of my ears, clean and steralize my hearing aids. They also fix any problems that I may have with my hearing aids or blue tooth. . They also check my hearing annually.I would recommend Family Hearing Center to anyone looking for a hearing aid. Scheduling was easy, from the time I called until my appointment was about two weeks.2. Its easy to find, plenty of parking.3. COVID pre screening was quick.4. Youll have about three pages of paperwork so plan your time accordingly.5. The staff is friendly and helpful!6. I turned in my papers and was lead in immediately, the whole process start to finish was about an hour. That includes multiple test and fitting for my new hearing aids.I was referred to Family Hearing Center through the Veterans Administration. Thirty years of annual hearing test in and out of the military and this was one of the best overall experiences I have had. Thanks!

I hand an appointment to get my hearing checked and to get new hearing aids. The staff was very helpfully in assisting getting my forms filled out. Wait time was just right, and I was able to complete the information prior to seeing the Doctor.The testing that was completed by the Doctor was done pretty quickly calling with getting fitted for the hearing aids and ear piece.Overall appointment was about 40 minutes and everything was well explained prior to testing and fitting were completed.I would highly recommend this doctor and clinic for your hearing needs.

I really like my particular hearing aid specialist,Ryan Himeda. After quite a few years of my going there (as hearing doesn’t usually turn around and get better!) we’ve become friends and I enjoy talking story for a while. Hes professional and gentle on the ears.I live North Shore and can usually run a few errands while at this location and theres free and availableparking. They are very COVID responsible too.

Have been going to Hearing Aid Center almost 20 years, starting with Ala Moana location, then to Aiea/Pearl City when I retired. Excellent service and treatment from the start. They treat you with respect and courtesy, not make you feel like you have a disability. My HIS Paul Lariosa and his wife Bianca are the nicest people. I had been recommended to FHAC by a friend who had patronized several big name hearing specialists, and she was right...this is the only place for me. Two of my 4 brothers also go to FHAC; the other two went elsewhere and all they did was complain about their hearing aids...well, they should have listened to me!I highly recommend FHAC.

My wife as been complaining about my loss of hearing for years. I finally decided to get my hearing checked. I called the Family Hearing Aid Center for an appointment. I had no trouble getting an appointment within a few days. The staff sent a couple of questionnaires to be completed prior to my appointment. In addition, they also sent a map of their location without me asking for one. A few days before my appointment, I received a reminder text message. I arrived about 20 minutes before my appointment time. The receptionists were very friendly and asked me to wait in their very comfortable waiting area. In a few minutes, Ryan Himeda came out and escorted me to his office. He was extremely personable and made me feel like I had been his friend for years. He did an excellent job of explaining everything he was doing. He explained that I would benefit from a hearing aid in one ear but before he would prescribed one, he wanted me to check with my ENT specialist because of some sinus issues I had been experiencing. He wrote up an Audiologic Report for me to present to my Doctor. The whole appointment was conducted very professionally, yet in an atmosphere were I understood what I needed to do. I was totally comfortable during my visit.

I cannot say enough about the Pearl City FHAC. Ryan Himeda is my mothers audiologist at the Pearl City location. He expertly tested Moms hearing, and suggested an appropriate model of hearing aid for her particular needs. Ryan has a great sense of humor and excellent bedside manner, which was crucial to caring for my mom, who has dementia. He has always taken care of any small issues--such as a stuck battery--in a timely fashion. The staff--especially Melanie--is also very friendly and accommodating.

Paul is awesome. Has helped me from the beginning with my new hearing aids. Paul helped me decide which ones were best for me for my needs. I went with the Phonak titanium IECs and these are my 1st purchase from this center. The fit/sound was perfect. I love them. The reception gals are super sweet & nice. Although, with this place, I had a little rocky start in the beginning with insurance coverage/price ordeal...it ended up working out and I highly recommend seeing them for your hearing needs. I would definitely purchase another set from them again!

Had forgotten how to switch between modes on my compilot and Paul Lariosa was patient enough to walk me thru the process again. He also switched the part of the hearing aid that contains the speaker to a larger size since I was having problems hearing with the current ones. What a difference it made!

Overpriced. Can get exact same hearing aids at Costco for a third of the cost here. They do have a friendly, helpful staff.

It was a great eye opener and learning experience with Dr. Himeda. To have someone outside of the box show me how much weve enabled Mom since shes had the cochlear implant done. I know he understands that it has been a lifetime habit that is hard to break since Mom has been born with hearing impairment, so weve always been her ears and translators. Ive also learned that when a patient receives the cochlear implant that it takes a village to make the patients quality of life better and more independent with confidence. Dr. Himeda is open to helping others and it makes me happy and relieved that I have someone to turn to if I need further help and support.Thank you, Dr. Himeda and staff for helping us with helping Mom.
