What an amazing experience! We just continue to rave, not only about our wonderful new door, but about the customer service from Ironworks! After placing our custom door order, Wesley came to measure. We suspected our door opening might be a challenge and Wesley confirmed this, but he assured us it would be a first class install. He was right! Installers Ray snd Shawn were experienced, polite, respectful, and they worked hard! After the install was completed, a few days later we noticed a few very minor touch ups needed. After a call, Ironworks scheduled Wesley to return and we are 100% thrilled with our door, and with the company! Companies that maintain such a high level of customer service, follow up, and produce a top-notch product are rare nowadays!

I was in search of a wrought iron door with a hinged glass front after seeing the doors my girlfriend had made for her home. I could not find a company in KY. I also really wanted a door that was made in the USA. I found Mississippi Iron Works. From the very beginning it was a positive experience. All of the employees that I dealt with were exceptional. Even though I was outside of their normal installation area, the owner agreed to sell and install my door. Other companies expected you to measure the door and I would have had to arrange for my own installers. Mississippi Iron Works sent their employee to measure my door and when my door was complete, they installed my door. It is perfect. It is beautiful. The installers cleaned the door and the entire work area. There was no mess to clean up. Without hesitation, I would use this company again. It is so nice to deal with a company that treats their customers well and believes in customer service.

Ordered an Iron Door and Security Door. Lead time was quoted as 6-8 weeks, actual was approx. 15.... I was kept informed of the situation and updated every so often. Install was great. We did have a small scratch inside the glass and they promptly manufactured a new glass inset and got it installed. Other than the long wait the product and experience dealing with MS Ironworks was excellent. Their products are top tier with outstanding finishes.

I am most satisfied with the service from Mississippi Iron Works. Chance came by yesterday to check on the install of my door and to bring additional magnets as I requested for my nice screen. I can open the glass window on my door and talk to a visitor through the screen. The office staff reached out to us weekly to update the progress on our door being manufactured. They were even able to install earlier than originally expected. I had a beautiful custom-made door and arched window installed earlier this year. When cleaning the window, I noticed that it had cracked. I called the company and they immediately made plans to replace it. Frank and Thomas came yesterday to replace the window. They were AMAZING: courteous, polite, professional. They did a great job, taking care to clean up every piece of glass from the damaged window. They cleaned the new glass before and after installing it. It was a great experience. I cant say enough good things about this company and the fine people who work there: Miss Juanita, Frank and Thomas.

I once thought this was a great product. It is impressive to look out but unfortunately if one of your doors gets too hot in the MS summers, you are OUT OF LUCK. One of the repairmen came to day to FIX MY LOCK on the front door and NOW I CAN BARELY OPEN IT. I am a senior and a widow and the KEY WILL BARELY TURN FOR ME. If you have a south facing door, I WOULD CAUTION YOU TO NOT BUY THIS. And, I have a porch and live among a lot of trees, so you wouldnt think it would get that hot.

Ms. Ironworks has great product! The paint department deserves special “kudos” for the beauty of our doors! They look just like wood!Excellent employees include Kyle and Gabby who install and service the doors, Mr. Scott in service dept. and Kim “Kimmy” who evidently does a lot in every department at the company!Mrs. Lillie Price is a great communicator amd problem solver-she basically saved our account with Ms. Ironworks due to their lack if communication and very slow turn around time. We were told 5-7 weeks to finish and it took 3 and a half months. Noone communicated with us for several weeks after we paid “half” up front but, after talking with Lillie, she got things moving and the finished product is quit nice.Great products but communication can be tedious. The company seems to be very segmented with little intrinsic communication. i often received calls from three different people telling me the day and estimated time for installation or service.If you talk to the folks i have mentioned, i believe you will get excellent results! We are pleased with the end result.

The previous owner of our house installed $10,900 beautiful iron doors in November 2019 with Mississippi Ironworks. We noticed there was a piece of trim that came unglued. I called for service and they informed me that their warranty doesn’t transfer owners and they recommended me calling a trim carpenter. What POOR customer service. Less than two years since installation and they refuse to stand by their product. Wouldn’t recommend installing such an expensive product from a company that doesn’t honor their work. This would surely be a very inexpensive fix.

We had double doors and railing installed. The results were amazing. From start to finish everyone we dealt with were friendly and responsive. The requests we had for changes to the door were completed without question. Questions were answered promptly and we were given a timeline that was kept. We liked the fact that the doors were made here in the USA with American workers. The installers arrived on time and the install was completed in 4 hours. The process fit like a glove and the doors are beautiful. The installers cleaned up after themselves and took pride in their work. Well done MS Ironworks. Im currently getting the run around from this company with either fixing or replacing the door that was installed January of this year. It seems as if no one communicates with each other and they have been late for every appoint set to come to my house. The door that was installed was obviously damaged during transport and even though I was told they would always be there to help with any issue, this has yet to be the case. I would definitely stay away from this company if I were you! Once they receive payment, you have to fight tooth and nail to get what you paid for. Im currently being told that it I will be put on the schedule in April for them to come out, take my door and fix it....Right now I just want a portion of the payment refunded and be totally done with this company!Dorian Miller, In Texas

Well first of all, we love our door and it’s very elegant and sturdy. We did have a communication hiccup or two in getting the proper door, but ultimately got the right door delivered and installed. The door was installed in November ‘20 and recently, we had a door trim issue in July’21 which pulled away and was promptly repaired. Your repair technician in my area was incredible and he cemented our feelings about our overall purchase and experience.

Been wanting a new door to let more light in our new house for our long dark hallway. We settled on the craftsman door, definitely worth the wait as it was as I expected, great quality & oh so pretty. Chance & John did an awesome job at installing the door! We did use our old hardware from our old door so a little hiccup in having to purchase longer screws afterwards to install the deadbolt but then again that was our choice to keep it.

From start to finish, weve had the best experiences with MS Iron Works. From the intial consultation to the completion everyone has been pleasant and informative about the process. The installers, Chance and Jason, were on-time and very professional. They seemed confident in doing their job and that made me feel good about my decision to use MSIW. Even Ms Juanita and her follow-up phone calls were an extreme plus. She kept me informed instead of wondering whats next.

This has been the worst experience that I have ever dealt with. We started the process with danielle, then brian, then michelle, we then were contacted by 2 other people, no body was on the same page, kept having to repeat the same answers to the same questions. Communication there is awful. As for the door 1st we started out picking a wood finish for our door, it showed up to our house being the wrong color and the doors themselves didnt even match each other in color. We called MIW and they said to install the doors and they would have someone come and repaint them at our house, umm no. When you pay 14k for a door that is not the type of service you expect. We called and asked to have the owner call us so we discuss our problems and customer service we were getting but never heard back from them. Only heard from one of the managers. Needless to say we did not install the door we shipped it back to the shop and after 3 failed attempts to get the colors to match the sample and to even have the doors match each other we ended up going with oil rubbed bronze. The new door looks great, After install the next day we noticed where light was leaking around the seals, the left door is not flush with the right door, it sticks out about 1/2 from the right, also they left of piece a tape on the door when they painted and painted over it. Had a repair guy come out, he removes the tape and spray paints the area, Mind you spray paint on a $14k door and its not even the same color. Now i have a black blob on my door. To pay that kind of money for a door to have these type of issues and customer service is embarrassing and not worth the headache or the money.+++update to 1st review... The 1st tech that came out sprayed painted my door (by the way he had only worked for the company a few weeks and per the tech he said he had no experience with metal doors only wooden ones and now doesnt even work for the company any more) The 2nd tech Matt came out to the house today to inform me he could not fix our door where the 1st guy had spray painted because we have oil rubbed bronze powder coated metal door. Now our doors have to be removed sent back to Miss, repainted and reinstalled. Mind you this is now the 3rd time we have taken off work to meet with the reps to still not have our issues fixed and will have to take off from work again to have doors removed and then again to have them put back but what does that matter right. For the amount of money we have paid for this door this is beyond ridiculous and unprofessional. I have no faith or trust that this company can actually do what they say they. I am tired of being lied to by your people and having my time and money wasted.

The door itself is amazing. The quality is outstanding. The install process wasn’t very good. Door molding installation and caulking poor and my wood floors were damaged. Also, the door has scrape marks on the hinges. No touch up paint is provided.Follow-up. Called salesman. Received a call from iron works instructing me to photograph damage and send to some other number. For $13,000+, I expected a personal visit. Reducing recommendation to 1 star.Response to Iron Works:Thanks for your offer to send techs out. I’ve had the damage repaired by professionals this morning. In the future, you might want to consider the following:Send at least three people per install. Two people are not enough. Use a shop vac as you go to avoid grinding metal shavings into floor. Provide protective plastic or Formica sheets so that the doors are not in contact with floor. 1 packing pad doesn’t work. Hinges should be protected during transport. They were all scratched badly, When replacing molding, use a punch and caulk to hide nails. Provide touch up paint for small imperfections. Grease the hinges. These are simple things that would have avoided the damage to my floors and molding.

The personnel at Mississippi Iron Works went aboveand beyond and exceeded my expectations.The install crew, Jason, Chance, and Letravis,did an excellent job installing my three iron doors.They were very nice and personable, yet professional. What I really appreciated is that they hauled away my old doors, and they cleaned up the mess that was made during the install.

Final update: The room is finally complete. It still took way longer than we expected but I will say it turned out beautifully. MS Iron Works improved their communication towards the end and gave us a product well enjoy for years to come.Update: I posted this a month ago, and my room still isnt completed. Some days, the men come and do hardly any work on the sunroom. They just sit around. My backyard/patio is a mess from all of the materials theyve left lying around for weeks at a time with little to no progress. I love their doors, but do not, I repeat DO NOT hire them to do a sunroom or balcony for you.I have a door that was done by them, and I absolutely love it. However, Ive been going through the ringer with trying to get my sun room done. I sent in the approval letter from my HOA, and for weeks I never heard anything despite the fact Id already paid half. It took me calling more than once for them to finally schedule the installation. Today was supposed to be the installation day, and I get a call this morning saying they cant come because the glass for the room didnt come in. They also dont know when they will come out and do the room now. I get that some things are beyond their control, but this constant waiting feels like it could be prevented to some degree.

I purchased a front and back door from Mississippi Iron Works in Jackson MS. Im extremely pleased with the quality, installation, and customer service. They are all super nice, professional, service oriented, and knowledgeable. The front door is over two years old (looks as great today as the day they installed it). I had one minor issue with it and Mississippi Iron Works fixed it promptly. Since I was so pleased with the front door, I recently replaced the back door. The added security these doors provide to my home is priceless. Many of my guests have commented, Love these doors. I highly recommend Mississippi Iron Works.

We purchased doors from MIW and the customer service has been terrible after the initial payment. Fast forward to installation on December 16th and the installers were unable to finish painting the trim because it was so cold and wet. The company has yet to reschedule and finish. After the installers left, i called our rep to say that the doors didnt look like the sample . The doors were just to orangey looking..and asked how could we darken the exterior of the door because it doesnt complement the entire exterior of the house. . The rep has given us the run around the last month or so. Avoiding our calls and emails, I have been patient since the rep said they were out sick. Well now my patients has run out. I would not recommend this company to anyone . And when they say custom its custom standard.

We had a couple small issues that needed to be adjusted and fixed. Their personnel and technicians were courtious and responsive. They have a good product, good warranty and aim to please.

We ordered a castle door for our home. Build quality and workmanship is excellent. Fits like a glove. A couple of hiccups on install, but overall the management and employees are very knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend them to others.

We LOVE our doors!! Miss Iron Works said it would take 6-8 Wks to build and deliver-it took 5!!!! The 4 guys that installed couldn’t have been anymore professional! We built 13 yrs ago and installed wood doors( 6 )on the front of our home !! I wish I had got these wonderfully built doors when we built!! Again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MISSISSIPPI IRON WORKS!!!

Mississippi Iron Works is a great company to do business with as they are courteous and efficient. While I did have a small problem with my front door, they were quick to resolve the issue. The doors look incredible and I have already had several comments about how great they look from friends.

Purchasing a door from Mississippi Iron Works proved to be a very good decision. Everything from the service to the quality of the materials is excellent. In less than four hours, my old doors were out and the new iron doors were in. The crew installing explained everything they were doing and had done. They left the area as they found it, very clean. The business followed up to ensure everything had been delivered and installed to my satisfaction.This is a great small business that I can support and know I am getting a great product.

We were VERY pleased with the installation of our iron doors. It was done on New Year’s Eve and I was afraid it would be a shoddy job as I knew these workers had to drive 2.5 hours back after doing it. So I wasn’t expecting the professionalism and courteous attitude that we received. The gentlemen did an amazing job with not only the installation but cleaning up after themselves and with being amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about their job. I would never recommend this company. I ordered a glass door to cover my front door of my home. I wanted to protect the wood on my door and the wood on the two side glass windows. They did not cover the wood on the two side panels. I contacted them and tried to get them to fix door the way I wanted it done in the first place. I even offered to pay them to come and redo it. Even that failed. I have never dealt with a company like this before. I guess it is because there is no one around here that type of entrance doors. No competition. They have a monopoly.

Our door is absolutely beautiful and we have had so many compliments on it. The entire experience, from the first home visit to the completion of the project, was professionally done. We have NO complaints.3/22/2021 After being so pleased with our door, we had another one installed on the back of our house. Still quite pleased with their door service. However, the fence department is NOT as good nor as professional as the door department. The installers of our fence were sloppy and used bolts that broke off, causing the collars holding the rails in place to come apart from the posts. The latch was placed on the outside of the fence instead of the inside, which makes little to no sense to me. We later asked them to make us an additional gate on the side for easier access from the main part of the house. The fence is less than a year old and the current section could have easily been used to make the gate, just adding a post, hinges, and a latch. They would not even consider talking to us about using this material and insisted on new material. The cost of the new gate...more than $3500!!! Needless to say, we will not be using them for this.All in all, I still love my doors and would highly recommend them for this. NOT true for my fence. Still 5***** for the doors. Only 1* for the fence.

I found this company and their products to be exactly as advertised! Altho we live in Alabama their sales representative was able to schedule and arrive within a short period of time. They had a wide variety of doors for me to select from...all beautiful, majestic and secure. After I made my selection, everything moved smoothly and quickly. I cannot begin to tell you how much of an improvement this security door made to our home...let alone the peace of mind it has given my husband and me. We love the look of the door, and the feature that allows us to open the glass to allow the center area of the door to serve as a screen portion when weather allows. Crawley will sell you the moon, then he’ll pass you off to never call you back. I know the field is limited as to who you can buy security doors from, but if you want customer service don’t buy from Crawley, he really doesn’t care once he gets a check.

We recently purchased a new front door for our home from MS Ironworks. We are located in Birmingham but the distance did not seem to slow them down. They did a great job and we could not be more pleased. I would recommend them.

I bought a mailbox from this business. I got a really good deal on it, and it was not that hard to install myself. To this day I really enjoy my mail box and the security it gives me in knowing that its not going anywhere because its such a sturdy construction.

Not the best experience. If I had it to do over, I would not have purchased doors from them. The doors are good quality, but getting to the installation point and other things were difficult. I had a dog door installed and they left it white....when the door was brown....stuck out like a sore thumb. They forgot about the Ring door bell installation, but finally did install that without too much waiting...just a couple of weeks. The young lady I was texting back and forth to figure out when they would be back to fix a chip in the door paint, the dog door, and the Ring doorbells wouldnt respond in a timely manner and twice commented she was sick and would get to it when she went back to work. One would think that after paying +$11k for doors, she could have made a phone call to the office and fixed it....regardless of whether one was sick or not.Quality of the doors is great, but the service was lackluster at best.
