Very disappointed on how I ordered a part online since it took longer than expected when I tried to return it the person behind the counter gave me a hard time. Wanting an actual paper receipt refused to accept my email receipt..argued with him for 10 minutes...I was about to walk out another employee asked me if I had an order number which I did, he looked it up and gave me my refund......such a hassle to process returns, probably will not be buying online again from Advance Auto....anytime soon!!!

Probably the least welcoming establishment Ive patronized in as long as I can remember. This was my first visit, & last. If this werent an emergency- a vehicle battery purchase- I would have shopped online as usual. Brick and mortars could still be successful, but not when they are staffed with employees who act like you are bothering them by showing up and spending a couple of hundred dollars.I dont enjoy leaving poor reviews, but Im not in control of others actions. If they hate their jobs, leave.As a top 1% local reviewer, I recommend patronizing another establishment.

Advance auto has the best staff. And a good selection of merchandise in the store. I have been a dedicated customer for over 10+ yearsAnd the prices are great.

The service I received there was exceptionally outstanding. I went there to return a dead battery that I purchased less than a year ago at this AAP location. I did not have a receipt, but I figured that the record of my purchase was in their computer system. Unfortunately it was not. However, I explained that I bought the battery there with conviction. I told her that I bought it on a Saturday afternoon. I had the choice to go to Walmart and wait hours or pay a little more for a battery at AAP for the convenience. I chose the latter. After convincing them that I purchased the battery there and showing them the battery was a store brand battery; eventually the battery was replaced due to the warranty. I was grateful for her service and decision to allow me to return the battery. Thank you Kay!!

Daniel was so polite and accommodating. However I called to ask about an auto part and the young lady answered and said, hold please. I held for about 5 minutes and then thought to simply drive to Advance which was a few minutes down the road. I didnt hang up curious as to how long I would be on hold with no communication or explanation of the wait. I walked in to store and young lady was leaning against the counter doing nothing. I asked about the part and then hung up the phone while speaking with her. Just then Daniel walks inside and is cleaning his hands having just finished assisting another customer outside. Lady at counter turns NOT to me but to him and says this lady wants a part and there w-a-s someone on hold. It had been 10/15 minutes waiting before she told him about the phone customer. I said to her that was me holding on the phone. She shrugged her shoulders and ask me to move to another counter/register and Daniel would assist me. Customer Service Training is in order. This person clearly had none. I was a business owner and Ive worked extensively with the public in many venues. This type of behavior needs to be addressed. Its not always the ability to do what a customer wants but a good try or concern or interest that Ive come into your store to spend money and am treated in this manner is UNACCEPTABLE!! I decided to go to OReillys and bought their part. I refused to bemis-haneed and spend my money too. Nope. Thank goodness Advance Auto parts isnt the only store around!!!!

Sept 25 2018, 1:30 pm, I came for car battery. There are 4 staffs and I am the only customer. I ordered online and Empree, the black dude with beard, said that the item I purchased online is not availble from their store until his associates found the item that I ordered to pick up from this location. Then Empree which is the cashier for this order pick up, refused to install my battery I purchased from them as he said they are not supposed to install it (which is a lie) He also refused the free battery and alternator testing to me. He also have a very unproffesional manner. He is rude and hesitates to accept my old battery as it was dirty (of course it is the old battery from my car).

Danny started off as rude, so I matched it. He took it up a notch, so I matched it again.Customer service should be your number one priority. If you cannot be cordial to customers no matter what events are taking place in your personal or professional life then this isnt the correct line of work for you.Store was clean and organized well. Danny on the other hand needs to work on his customer relations skill set.

Ive been here before and its the same thing each time. As soon as you walk in youre greeted and tended to. You dont have to search around for anything, they find it for you immediately. This time Chris was a huge help. Extremely helpful and excellent customer service. Will definitely return.

This review is long overdue, because Every time I come to this place, I always leave happy. Empree is always so helpful. Every time that I see him working, I know that I wont have anything to worry about. He is a very kind gentleman. He provides excellent customer service. He knows a lot about automobiles. He even went outside to help me with my truck in the freezing, cold weather and he didnt go back into the store until he was done helping me with my truck. Today is not the only day that he has done something like that for me. He has a great sense of appropriate humor. He is very respectful. I really appreciate that. 5 stars for sure.

I stopped here yesterday to get new wiper blades. Margaret helped me pick out some in my price range and installed them in the rain! Great customer service! I will be going back.

Shout to to Big Al who helped me out last weekend. He is very knowledgeable and courteous! My online order got delayed by 2 hours and since I was in a rush, he honored the online price since he didn’t want the customer to wait due to a system issue.

Very friendly and informative employees. Im not all that great with car parts and they usually can point out what I really want, not what I thought I needed. And they dont make me feel stupid, which is key. I put on windshield wipers one time and didnt realize there was a plastic covering in the part of the blade that does the work. I asked them what was wrong and they very graciously removed the plastic. No comment about my mental capacity. Ill definitely be back.

I am very pleased with the speed, attention and courtesy that was given. I felt they not only enjoyed working there but they didnt rush me. I will definitely let all my friends and family know. Kay and Chris made me feel at ease especially since I was stress about my car. You should hire more people like Kay & Chris. I just cant express enough how pleased I am. I was greeted with a smile and received the attention immediately when i walked thru the door. Another customer came in right behind me and he was given the same courtesy. I give them 2 thumbs up!!!

Had exactly what I needed

Counter person help me to find the correct air filter for two cars as well made recommendations of prices and brands.

This place is pretty stocked up but their choices are very limited. I went in looking for car detailing / cleaning products which they have quite a few selections but they did not have what I was looking for so I had to settle. Will still shops here as they do have great service.

Ive been to Advance Auto Parts twice now for a complementary battery charge and both times they have taken good care of me. Each time, I first (mistakenly) went to AutoZone down the road for a charge. In both instances, AutoZone was not able to recharge my battery so I took them to AAP who were able to use their slow-charger to get the job done. I highly recommend this store. I want to recognize a particular team member, Kay, who was extremely friendly and helpful, and provided all-around excellent customer service! Great people!

Amazing ladies working there! Ms K and Margaret saved the day right before this crazy storm! Made arrangements for me to get assisted at the Good Year Town Center and made it possible for me to do what I needed before the worst of the storm. Very greatful for how easy and quick they made everything.

Im totally auto-ignorant. My wife came home with a broken blinker and brake light. The tech inside helped me diagnose the problem remove the lights, and get it up and working in about 15 minutes. He taught me every step of the way and I feel confident I could do it again by myself in the future. Everyone there was super nice and I it only cost me about six bucks. I feel like a champ.

HEY, They were super helpful, alternator went out in front of the store, they offer to take me home, very friendly, i bought my part and waited for wrecker. I recommend this store. 10 stars .

Honestly feel like they need more people, but maybe I came on a day they were short a person. Always helpful when they get to you, and almost always have exactly what you need on location.

Super helpful, completely recommend. After the AutoZone guy a few doors down gave me such an attitude, I will be spending all of my money here from now on. While I do find the prices are slightly higher than AutoZone, I find it worth it because these guys are super nice and I feel like Im getting taken care of.

I am a customer for life!! In the pouring rain at 7:30 am I walked in to find a very helpful and very kind lady named Ms. Pat. I told her my delimma and she immediately told me what my problem coyld be. She then asked her associate, Ms. Margaret to assist me with my concern by going down the street to where the vehicle was located. In the pouring rain, she confirmed my problem. She never complained and continued to offer me assistance in fixing the problem. In a matter of minutes these two ladies helped me with an issue that could have potentially resulted in a big expense. I cannot express the relief or thankfulness I have for these ladies! Customer care at its finest!!!

For the second time now Advance Auto Parts has gotten me what I needed when no one else could. This time it was a spark plug for my trimmer that no one else could find, not even any of the local mower retailers. And they got me a NGK plug at that. (My favorite plug since my two-stroke Yamaha days when anything else would just foul out). The previous time I got some Mothers glass water spot remover that is a mother to find.Im going to see them again today for some license plate hardware and some cleaning supplies.I really like this place, I wish I had found it a long time ago.Good people too.P.S. Check out the tattooed chick in the STREET VIEW riding shotgun in an Audi sucking on a gallon water jug. Man, Pearland just aint what it used to be!

I like coming here for the speed perks. The cashier kalyn l. Was so quick to get me out of the store she didnt let me put my number in for my perks. I asked her about it and she treated me like i was dumb for wanting to do that. Told me to pull up my email if i wanted to use a reward i had, which i did, but couldnt find the email. This could have been solved if she had just looked my numbers up but i guess that was to difficult....will not return... autozone is just a little further down the street....

Asked for help but they wouldnt help. Stranded and needed a battery at 9:05 but they wouldnt sell me one. Said they were closed. We even called ahead and told them we were coming but would be late. They said OK but then didnt let us buy one. We passed up couple of stores for this one and they let us down. I watched they sit and play on his phone for 30 minutes while he closed and I sat stranded in his parking lot. All I needed was a battery.
