Came to check if they had an iPhone 13 Pro, expected them not to have it in stock, normal no problem, just wanted to check by on the off chance they might. Greeter said that they didn’t, okay no problem. I then asked if he could possibly check the other corporate stores in the city to see if maybe they had one. Plain out told me no, that they aren’t able to. I’ve gone to other corporate stores a few weeks ago & they’ve most definitely been able to check other corporate stores’ inventory, right in front of me too, literally showing me what the other stores did or didn’t have. So why this greeter didn’t want to do that simple thing? Lazy & to be unbothered. By the looks of the other reviews, seems to be the same guy too. Great job, Verizon.

The bald guy that is the manager is prob one of the rudest customer service reps I have ever dealt with. I just bought a new iPhone 12 and it was delivered today. I have never set up a phone and get one every two years or so. Ask for his help in setting up my new phone. He said just turn it on. We don’t do data exchange anymore. I know they don’t. But still ask for him to make sure I was setting my new phone up correctly. He said just turn it on. There is nothing I can do. I was there to purchase a screen protector phone case as well. Due to his customer service I would like to Verizon know I will be returning the new phone I received, dropping my service with Verizon and changing service providers. I am in sales too. And I would never treat a customer like this. I would do everything possible so they are comfortable with their purchase.

My family and I visited this location with intentions to upgrade to the new iPhones. We knew upon arriving that the new iPhones would most likely be sold out but still had questions about the process and difference in pricing, etc. The employee had no interest in helping us. All she seemed to care about was informing us of the backorder status of the phones we intended to order (which she did 7 times) without bothering to answer any of our questions regarding pricing, trading our old phones in, or adding a new line to the plan. We left the store with no new order and more questions than we had come with.

Bought 3k worth of tech within 2 days. Switched from another major carrier. Requested me to pay for 650 if it with cash originally. I had to go to the bank to get said cash.Went to return the 650 worth of tech on day 12 of 14 day window. Not able to get cash or card return. Able to get it as credit on account, gift card, or treasury check (4-6 weeks by mail). Unacceptable. Taking my 5 lines to another carrier. Oh BTW Yolanda store manager did not once say Im sorry we cant fulfill your needs. Not once did she acknowledge that a customer was inconvenienced. Horrible manager. She also assured and reassured me that there wasnt anything more any other manager could do. Thats it. Unacceptable.

I dread walking into any cell phone provider, last time I did was 2016. Needless to say my cell phone needs upgrading so I just wanted to start looking and see whats available. I went when they first opened at 10 a.m. The rep, I believe Luis, was helpful and not pushy. Helped me get an unlimited plan that suits my needs. We talked options on cells and I was willing to get a certified pre owned however none of the S8s were available. Or S9s. No biggie. He understood my needs and that paying 1000 bux for a new phone aint one. Id be happy to buy from a rep like him. But gotta buy new tires first. The manager (Im assuming) was getting onto him about the displays not being wiped of finger prints....while he was assisting me. Ive worked retail. That stuff can wait until an employee is done with the client. Silliness. Will return.

Brandon, Solution specialist, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about Verizon and their products. I ended up buying a phone and there were technical problems but he was a wonderful guy getting it fixed. The music played in the store was calm and soothing. A customer was rude and being belligerent towards him. But Brandon was professional and acted with integrity and never got down to her level. This is a place where you are treated like a person, a hard working person and not a problem.

I purchase all my phones here but every time I have issues o question they seen to not care. Today I was doing a warranty claim on my phone an need it strong wifi. The tech couch send me to this store because all Verizon store should have a strong wifi an signal has the advertise with there product. The guy said that they have the worst signal in that store that everything in that store uses the guess wifi. A Verizon sales o manager just told me they have the worst signal/wifi on there store not good. End it up going to Macdonalds to finish doing the back up on my phone.

This is what you come to expect. My wife purchased an IPhone 8 Plus a few months ago along with the insurance at this location. The phone got hit today and the screen cracked. Took it into the store and got the line of Oh, just call Ascurion, the insurance provider and they will come to your home like magical mobile fairies and fix your screen for $29. Great...go home spend an hour on the phone mostly on hold. Nope, Verizon is full of well, you know what. Its $199 since the phone has not been out for a year. Mmmmm OK. Lets call Verizon, after 40 minutes they are like yeah, yall are SOL. Called the Verizon store back and asked the gentleman that told my wife about the $29 magical screen fix. He was like Really? you dont say, my bad dude, sorry about that. In closing, I spent 2+ hours on the phone to be told by Verizon and confirmed that their own employees have no idea what they are selling, yet continue to sell it. If you like dealing with incompetent and clueless employees, then this Verizon location will rock your world. If you want competent, knowledgeable associates that know what they sell, maybe try somewhere else.

I was a Verizon customer for a number of years--until this last straw. I went in to upgrade my phone on Wednesday, and was told I would receive it on Friday. I checked the tracking Thursday evening, and saw it was not set to deliver until Monday. Not a big deal, unless you made arrangements to have someone available to sign for your phone on Friday and they couldnt be there on Monday (and I could have had it shipped to work if I had been told.) When I went to the store Thursday evening, they told me the person who ordered my phone should have known it wouldnt ship in time to arrive on Friday. The persons advice was for me to either allow delivery without signature (but was unwilling to cover my insurance deductible if the phone were stolen after delivery) or for me to drive to the FedEx place to pick up my phone after a failed delivery attempt.

If I could put a one star I would staff isn’t helpful or is the manager TJ who I was first speaking to. When I tried to explain my situation to him he became more and more unhelpful rude and kept cutting me off. Even after I tried to get some information from him that could possible help me he started to raise his voice ( soon after I started raising mine and while I shouldn’t have I did start cussing non of which was at him) soon after he hung up on me. So after calling back a mother lady picked up and said he will be rejecting my calls and then she hung up on me. By far the WORST place to go to not only that when I return a phone because it was a defect they switched it out but didn’t inform me I would have to wait TWO years to get a new phone! Awful place and awful staff these are the people how will do half their job and you will live with the consequences!!!!

I went in to pick up a “Brand New” Iphone which had a scratch on it and the manager Scott claimed that the phone worked and would not be exchanged without a restocking fee. Then he had the nerve to say that if im going to put a case on it “whats the difference” great customer service from a “Manager” had to get phone exchanged from Verizon over the phone who did the right and decent thing unlike this scam artist that was happy to pawn off damaged goods as new i would give a zero if i could. I will never go back to this store

My husband & I just bought our Note 8 phones from this Verizon location, & Taylor Petitt made sure it was an AWESOME experience from beginning to end!!! She answered all of our questions regarding the phones, the cost, etc., & made sure we knew all we needed to know to buy our phones. We made an appt. with her two days after our first visit, she was ready for us when we got there, & she couldnt have taken better care of us!!! Taylor has such a great personality, & she made buying our phones...FUN!!! She was training someone at the time, & they worked very well together, & he was very pleasant as well! I had to take my phone back a couple days later because I had an app on it that was causing me some problems, & two of the guys who work there figured out what it was, & fixed it!!! I normally dont do reviews, but when you receive exceptional service, I think it deserves a review!!! This Pearland Verizon rocks, & Taylor & the other employees who work there are a definite asset to Verizon & this location!!!

My daughter came in to get an upgrade on her phone which was dying, and customer service had okayed for her to use my phone number upgrade. Instead, a supervisor named KB was very rude, would not try to work with her and had her call me long distance to tell me he would not upgrade her phone. I explained that she has an autistic child and needs to have a phone that works now. He was short, rude, and would not try to help us. I called customer service back and she is now on the phone with him and his supervisor to give them permission to allow this upgrade so she will have the smart phone she wants. Fortunately, the manager Mark spoke with the customer service rep Jessica, and assured us that Kristen will get the phone she wants and needs today.

My mother & I went to this location yesterday. When we got there, absolutely no one greeted us, even though I made eye contact with a few of the employees. However, after that, I noticed that every person coming in the door was being acknowledged. We looked around for abt 20 min or so & still no one came to us. So my mom asked me to go upfront & ask for help, which I did. I waited for abt 2 min & then a guy came over. Honestly, he looked rushed, my question was a quick one, but he acted like he had other things to do, he kept looking around. First he said, let me get you signed it, I gave him my number. Then he asked what I needed help with today, I was simply there to ask IF I could break off my brother’s mobile plan, & if so how would I go abt that; this man said “oh I don’t know. Let me give you a number & you can do it from there. Verizon does it over the phone now”. This man was so rushed to do whatever it was he thought was more important than helping us that HE DIDNT EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO THE QUESTION!! I wasn’t trying to move from the plan at the moment, I simply wanted information & this man couldn’t do that. This Verizon used to have very good customer service, but this last visit was just ridiculous.

My phone keeps dying.I had a similar experience as John R. (reviewer). The battery keeps dying and she indicated that I did not have the latest updates and told me to remove software and call the 3rd party insurance service. This is my replacement phone because the first phone was giving me the same issues. I am convinced it is a battery issue because it turns off at 90% by itself and tells me i have 3% battery when I turn it back on after. Not much effort made to help just wanted to send me off.

A little wait but worth it. Kid named Jerry helped me and really new his stuff. I recently came back to Verizon from Att. It was my contract to the day. I regretted the decision with my first bill. It was unbelievable. Att charges are outrageous. I will suggest anyone to come to this location my cell service is great of course always was.

This store is horrible and the staff are sneaky and devious particularly the staff member Warren; he sold us phone under false pretenses and I will be contacting the store directly, BBB, and Verizon corporate offices as well. We went in for an upgrade on phone and he NEVER told us that Verizon no longer offers upgrades deals but he told us he was giving us a deal. We found out later from AT&T that companies no longer offer that and you in fact pay full price for iphone and they added to bill without our knowledge and we looked at bill we realized we are paying a monthly fee for phone. We have a problem with him not telling us at all; it should have been our decision and we should have been fully aware of what was going on with him being upfront about it...its unfortunate that we found out about it from AT&T...we at least know they are informing their customers to buyer beware when going to this store and particularly dealing with Warren because hes a liar and deceitful!

Google I mean Ricky need to stop acting like he knows everything thing when he clearly doesnt I went in to get a sim change because my online account was showing I had an iPhone 8 when I Cleary have an iPhone X he swap my SIM card and told me since your phone wasnt purchased here it gonna show a blank pic online.. Lie Lie for device preview seconds later its showing my device that I currently have on my preview I told him I wanted to get that corrected just incase I ever lose my phone the insurance will send me the right one and he told me well the insurance is not gonna cover your iPhone X since you did not purchase the device from Verizon I explained that I was told by a Verizon representative that the insurance follow the phone number and whatever device is being used on that device will be cover but he stood there looking at me stupid that thats incorrect I spoke to Verizon and they verified to me that I was indeed correct! so if you ever go and Googles there avoid getting helped from him since he Cleary doesnt now what he doing he was so disrespectful and rude!

I went to pick up my upgrade phone but ended up buying in store I understood later it was a bad decision. Verizon online customer service is excellent but instore specifically the Pearland store near HEB i would not recommend to anyone. They have no integrity and have no sense of how to treat their customers. They do not keep up their words and twist words for their benefit. Please do contact verizon online customer service they are excellent but never go to the pearland verizon store near 288 HEB.

Ive come to this location several times over the past few years. Its been mostly ok in spite of the long waits. I was just there yesterday however and had a negative experience trying to make a change in my account. A female rep behind the counter failed to acknowledge my presence as she worked on her tablet, until I finally called her attention to let her know I had been standing in front of her. She kept playing with her tablet as she answered my questions. She also gave me the wrong information about my ability to close a line and move a number to another line, which she insisted was not possible, and did not check the end of contract dates in all of my lines. At the end I was not sure she was done helping me because of her lack of eye contact, so she finally looked up from her tablet, looking annoyed, and asked me if I needed anything else. I knew I had moved numbers before, so I later called customer service and confirmed it was indeed possible. Helping customers is obviously not the priority of this rude rep, but giving out the wrong information --and insisting upon it-- is unacceptable.
