These guys are the real deal. When my husband got a job offer in Austin, I immediately started dreading the move out of our Houston home. To ease the stress, we decided to hire a company that offered both packing and moving services. Darrell, who came highly recommend by a neighbor, came to our home and gave us a comprehensive quote the next day. The attention to detail was fantastic. The day of the move, we went over the game plan since we were putting some of our belongings in storage. After that, Darrell and his crew of 5 got to work packing while I was able to sit back and try to relax, ha! They were very efficient and asked questions about anything they were unsure of. The next day, they showed up to our new apartment in Austin and got to work. They reassembled all the furniture and made everything so seamless for us. You could tell his crew was very experienced. I’ve never seen so many precautions taken for someone else’s property. This company defines the motto of “treat others as you would like to be treated”.My most recent move involved moving into a new build home. Moving interiors put down blankets throughout the floors and put protective coverings on all carpeted areas. Nothing was damaged and everything arrived just as it was prior to arrival.The Moving Interiors crew work on an hourly schedule, but they move on your schedule. They don’t take lunch when high noon arrives, only when the task is ready for it. These guys hustle and don’t grimace with any request.Their prices are fair and more than worth it. I cannot recommend them enough. Folks like them are hard to come by. They make moving a breeze.

They were highly professional and efficient packers. They packed everything up very quickly. Unpacking was easy, nothing fell out of wrapping as small things occasionally do when wrapped in bundles. The movers were prompt with packing up a 1 bedroom apartment, packing everything in about 2 hours, and unpacking everything in well under an hour. The movers were friendly and missed nothing. The best thing for me to do was to get out of the way while they work. Will absolutely call them again if needed.

His team carefully handled all of our possessions as if they were their own. He saves you a lot of money by allowing you to use like wardrobe boxes they already have so you dont have to purchase them yourself. He took our fully loaded freezer to his home in a truck, plugged in in, and after traveling 3 hours the next day to our new home the food was still frozen and saved us a lot of trouble not having to unload it. This is our second move with Moving Interiors. The first move we came out of a storage unit with a four-man crew. They were very efficient and careful with every piece of furniture and wrapped items in the stretch plastic to protect the items.Based on that wonderful experience, we decided to use them again for our move from that house in Katy to our house in Houston. They arrived on time, walked through the house to assess items that would be going in the truck to pack it most efficiently, and immediately began working. They labeled furniture pieces with locations within the home to make their time more efficient. They worked from when they arrived until they were finished. Due to the size of house/furniture, we had a full day of work, but when they took a lunch it was 38 minutes and not included in time we pay. Darrell, the owner, checked in during the day to see how everything was going. If you have any concerns, he is responsive and will make it right. He cares about customer service and is selective about the men he hires. He has the same crew that works for him and they work their butts off.Based on our experience with them, my mother-in-law also used them to move from her house into a storage unit until their house in San Marcos is complete. They will be using them again to move out of their storage unit in a few weeks to their new home in San Marcos.When you find a moving company that provides great customer service and is very detailed when it comes to caring for the items in your home, why try anywhere else? Each time they have succeeded all expectations and will use them if we move again in the future.

We have used Moving interiors (Darryl and his guys) 4 times now.After our son passed away last year I was not even close to packed and his guys helped get everything done. We just moved again and we have a lot and a lot of heavy stuff and very sentimental things.... his guys took extra special care with all of my sons things because they knew my heart needed it.I use a 5 man crew and was pleasantly surprised how fast 2700 sq feet and 2 barns were carefully wrapped and loaded, his crew worked in the rain even and put out plastic to keep my floors clean. They have never damaged anything or walls and unlike other movers they don’t walk slow or stop and chat while the clock is ticking.His guys are super polite and work hard will never use another moving company!!!! I hired Moving Interiors in March of 2020. They did absolutely FANTASTIC job!!! The owner, Darrell, was on-site, and his employees are very hard-working. My move was not an easy one, but they were diligent and very professional. They were swift, careful, and made sure everything was assembled where we wanted the furniture. They were very flexible with the scheduling. They were extremely careful with all my belongings. They were able to disassemble and properly re-assemble Ikea furniture (pieces that are very complicated!) They communicated very well. They are priced competitively, and DEFINITELY worth every penny! Moving Interiors is primarily a local mover with a good reputation for service and careful work.However, I used them for a interstate move and found them a perfect partner in what was a new world for me. They not only helped me with the move but with the many choices I had to make before the first box was packed.The owner, Darrell Higgins, came promptly to estimate the cost but and also suggested cost saving alternatives.In my case the best solution was a shipping container, but what size? what were the alternatives? He came back to refine that calculation. That is where Darrells experience added value to my move.Not only did Moving Interiors estimate the cost of packing and loading but they helped me with the cost/benefit evaluation of the trade off between greater capacity vs letting certain things go.On moving day the team arrived on time, were clean, and ready to work. They worked hard and fast. Most important they were careful and smart.When I got to my new home in Oregon, the local movers there were amazed at how efficiently and tightly the container had been packed. The Moving Interiors crew had used every cubic foot of the containers capacity, allowing me to bring as much of my lifes treasures as possible.A final word: When I unpacked, I was delighted to find that of all the stuff that was moved, only one piece of pottery was broken and that was in a box I had packed myself.I can wholeheartedly recommend Moving Interiors.

These guys are the best! I was referred to them by a good friend and they truly lived up to their reputation! We were moving my aging in-laws closer to us so we wanted to make sure we hired a moving company that is honest, efficient and professional. Darrell, the owner, called prior to the move to get a better understanding of what our needs were. He offered to come out to do a consult and we actually had one scheduled but due to the flooding, all his jobs were delayed. So, we ended up not having that consult. But I just wanted to mention that he was the only company from all the ones I called to get a quote that actually offered to come out before the move to do an assessment! On the day of the move, Darrell plus all four of his guys came right on time and didn’t waste any time! They laid down plastic to protect the flooring as well as wrapped all furniture and fragile items in plastic wrap and heavy blankets for protection. We had a lot of heavy old furniture that we needed to move from the second floor out to the front lawn for bulk trash. They moved them without hesitation! They were so efficient and from the way the guys maneuver the large furniture out of the house without ever touching any walls really proved that they were all well trained! After the move, there was a miscommunication about a missing box of clothes and all it took was a text to Darrell for him to resolve the issue. I’ve been through many moves in my lifetime but I have to say, these guys are the best movers I’ve ever hired! Highly recommend them and I’m going to be a repeat customer!!

Moving Interiors was great to work with. From the initial discussion with the owner, Darrell Higgins, through the completion of the move, they were professional, flexible, and easy to work with.The movers took such great care in protecting the furniture prior to moving it. They pointed out any existing small scratch or blemish to make sure I was aware of it prior to them moving the piece. They protected the floors and made sure not to hit any surrounding surfaces. On the delivery, they put everything right where I wanted it, which involved some difficult corners and taking a lot of heavy stuff upstairs. All of them were very nice and careful.I would recommend Moving Interiors to anyone that wants to ensure their furniture is cared for during the move the way you would want.

We have moved worldwide for the hub’s job, and while each move is different, this moving crew and Darrell the boss were the easiest and kindest we have ever had. There was nothing they said no to, no matter the difficulty level. What was supposed to be a 3-day move ended up being 5.5 days, and through it all, the crew did not complain one bit. In fact, they continued to have a good time by teasing one another to keep their tired spirit up. There were 2 days in the move that they worked for 14 hours each day, with only a lunch break, so that we could have a comfortable house to spend the night in. The move was so memorable because of how smooth it went. Darrel and team just moved us last week. We are very particular about our things and the quality of the move and the attention to serve the customer in the most effective way was clear from the start. They came in when they said they were going to come, they charged what they said they would charge, and they’re Courteous and professional. I would absolutely recommend using them again. They may be a little bit more than the competition but you get what you pay for.

We hired moving interiors to move our home and storage unit into our new home. My husband and I were so impressed with Darrell and his workers! They were so fast, efficient, and careful. They went above and beyond my expectations! I got a broom to sweep my sidewalk and one of the guys took it from me and swept the sidewalk. They also scraped mud off our driveway as well. I didn’t expect them to do that and was very grateful they did. They were able to move us in half a day which would’ve taken us days to do it on our own. Definitely hire this company!

The guys were Pros! They were so fast and so efficient. It was a hot day with most items going upstairs in a two story house, including a washer and dryer. Everything was wrapped for protection during the move and placed exactly in the right spots. They even protected the carpet they were walking on!
