My experience at Stop & Shop is ALWAYS very good.Barring none, the staff is very courteous and helpful, plus the service is exceptional.One of the things that makes my experience always so special is their store card. With this you get a lot of deals, specials and you can get just about any and everything there. No card...still no problem. They will give you a temporary one so you can check out with those specials.I recommend this supermarket to anyone in Peekskill and surrounding areas.

Zero stars. My grandmother told me this store refused to give her the discount for a coupon that was digital only. Ill just post the question here....Is this really Stop and Shop policy? If it is, its a disgusting policy that discriminates against the elderly and those who cannot afford to buy a smartphone. If it is not- just wow (my sentiment) - get some new employees ASAP who respect their customer base (many of whom are elderly). The store is a mess in general and now elderly discrimination?(Of course this probably doesnt reflect on all employees there, some of whom I have had positive interaction with and I am sure are doing a great job. )

Good store with a great selection. They have everything. But as for the restrooms, the toilets were covered in urine and feces, and there was no ventilation. You can imagine the smell that accumulates in that closet-sized room as people defecate. Not family-friendly in that regard. Maybe consider cleaning the restroom more frequently, and fixing the ventilation?

Stop & Shop is the nicest Supermarket where you can find almost anything the only thing thats lacking is a pharmacy which they can do that near the plant and balloon section plenty of space for it

Pretty good store! The employees are very friendly and eager to help. They keep it clean and have a wide variety of products. Plenty of parking, too. The express checkout makes things even faster and I appreciate that. The only possible negative is that when I was there the shelves could have been stocked a little better but then again they may have been waiting for a truck to come in with a delivery. Overall I recommend this store!

As far as Stop & Shops go, this one is fine. I will consider bumping them past the 3-star threshold if they get rid of that awful robot. Automatic 5-star review if they destroy it Office Space-style, and let all the customers have a swing. Like Murder on the Orient Express.

Today I decided to never shop again in any stop&shop store, customer service has gone from bad to really bad. They had also suggest that I could still something when I try to return some water. They had charge me $391 for a 24 water bottles thatstore show at $2.50, item so heavy for me instead of giving me the thing to scanned it they want me to lift it myself again insinuating that I wouldnt return to them the thing to scan it. I felt insulted, tired and that they do not care about my age. I do count even if am older now, I have been using the store for so many years, I was young once and not mind this lock of courtesy but not anymore

My favorite store to purchase my fruit, vegetables, milk, etc.. all fresh, maybe a little pricey according to other people who compare. Always have all I need. Big parking lot.Automatic self cashier machines to get in and out faster

Good supermarket, everything was clean and neat. People sanitizing everything while I was there. The only thing I didn’t like was the robot that follows you around. I tripped over that thing twice because it was too close. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of lines open. Overall good place. Prices could be better but that’s with everything these days.

Its inside the beach shopping center. Stop here when Im in the area. Its one of the older stop and shops. Could use an update. However it is usually clean and well stocked. All the departments are good but the produce use to be better. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices were okay somethings are higher though. Will continue to go here

[update] I was happy to see a new lane dedicated to waiting for cashiers and how they direct people to different registers.HOWEVER, I see people inside the store have masks ON but below their nose. Its a joke. What is worst is that even employees who work there, like the ones who stock the shelves dont have mask on ...its like, as Governor called, Chin Mask rather than face mask.I hope they do something about it.I used to love this place...that is, until CoVid. They have no social distancing. I see people walking in like there is no virus. A few weeks ago, I called them to ask them if they are practicing social distancing in the store. Our store is big, we let everyone in....Come on in now. It is not that crowded, was her answer. I drove there and saw more than 50 cars in the parking lot. How can they be so careless. I now have to drive to Yorktown Heights Mrs. Greens to buy my groceries. Its a hassle but at least it is not free for all like S&S

Marginal to awful, just like most downstate grocery stores. I shop here because I almost have to sometimes due to traffic and time, & because virtually all grocery stores in the area are near equally awful. Lots of expired and/or opened product on shelves, in coolers. Also, they are forever restocking while youre shopping and couldnt care less about being in the way or blocking customers. There are one or two really EXCEPTIONAL checkout staff and I dont want to slight them or their efforts. Otherwise, annoying authoritarian, managerial staff that seem to think customers are employees that can be bossed around and dressed in manners that you wouldnt think of using with a child or stranger: They made Covid even more miserable. Next time you go upstate or better to central or western New York (or nearly anywhere), stop into a grocery store there and see what it could be like here... If anyone cared. I dread visits here, but they are so much closer to home.

I love this store, from the bakery to dairy. So clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly, its a joy to shop there. Thank you for keeping my and many other families going thru these past few months. You all have been truly amazing 🥰

Its a beautiful, clean and well organized environment to get most products and provisions I need. I find the staff Ive met mostly courteous. I enjoy early morning shopping as I love to browse around and check for different items. Its easily accessible and other places of interest are in close proximity. My only drawback is, I would definitely love to find more Caribbean products.

It is a good store, good selection of food, but people that work in this store are rude. I have been at customer service area, and one of the girls that work there did not care about what i was asking and she left the place ignoring my question and pretending not hearing. Body language says a lot how people feel in their job, different from SHOP RITE, at this place people seem to be much happier and everyone listens and answer even if you have silly questions. I believe managers from stop and shop store need to reassess the customer service given by their staff.

I love how organized they are during this pandemic and everyone is wearing a mask to prevent spreading. I wish other stores would implement state ordinances and not be scared to tell guest when they are in the wrong. Kudos.

The store is clean the aisles laid out well, and their selections are vast, nice people good produce.

I love this place.. The worker are so nice. I got to try so fresh orange juice. Cheeses and i couldnt find my savings card in they put one in for me. I wouldnt mind spending my money in that store. Keep up the great work all stop&shop employees.

Shopped here for years and never had a problem. One of the cleaner stop & shops and employees were friendly. Under such circumstances Id give it 4 or 5 stars, as its often well stocked in addition to the items above. However, during the pandemic, the store welcomes customers without masks, much to the discomfort of the shoppers who comply with the state mandates. Other stores routinely disinfect, perform temperature checks on employees, and enforce the mask policy. Stop & shop seems to want the pandemic to continue and to milk any penny they can get. Too bad I and my family will never bring our business back here, so I think they lost $$ in the long run. I urge anyone to vote with their wallet and support supermarkets that actually uphold policies to help stop COVID

Had to make a quick stop today at the Stop & Shop found everything I wanted quickly and easily the people there are great the service is wonderful didnt have to wait too long for a cashier and we were out and about a half an hour which is something else a good place to go top quality food friendly faces

This store has a large supply of food stuffs and they are willing to part with same in exchange for U.S. currency or credit instruments. Very convenient!

Its fine, standard as far as supermarkets go. BUT they have the price gun, which transforms your shopping experience! Its right at the door when you walk in, put in your number, grab the gun, scan your items, put em in your bag, go to self check out, scan the gun, pay & youre out the door. Its an AMAZING time saver!👍👍

The one thing they had going for them - produce department - has now unaccountably been downsized and the fruits and veggies are pathetic. Less then 10 minutes away is the new Shoprite which is fantastic. I only come to this place because my gym is close and I may need an item or two.

I love scanning and bagging so I can quickly get my shopping done and be done!

I am so disappointed in the fact that every time I visit this stop and shop, the employees look extremely tired as if they literally only take a 5 minute break. They are such great hardworking people with beautiful personalities but I can see how overworked they are and how tired they become. This is such a nice stop and shop, and I would greatly appreciate if the company would treat their employees with the rest they need throughout their shift.

Its nice just not of choices for sushi. Theres a lady thats always going around cleaning and shes really nice forgot her name but every time i see her shes always smiling and saying hello .

Its convenient, clean, and has an extensive vegetable area. Stop & Shop still has the best selection of kale and lettuce, though the new ShopRite has a far bigger selection of all other veggies and baked goods.

Typical grocery store. Highly recommend you get the store card if you shop often. Always busy, so prepare to wait on line.

Stop and Shop is a really quality grocery store. I have lived all over the country, and I think this is one of the best stores I have ever had the privilege to have near me. The produce is fresh and beautifully displayed, and the staff is always helpful and kind.

Undoutably one of the worst grocery stores in the area. Deli staff is rude, cooks that make the chickens consistently burn them, often out of very common items, managers are also incompetent and nasty. Any place is better.

If I could leave no stars I would. I couldnt find the product I was looking for, I searched the whole store for about 10 minutes for an associate before finding one stocking shelves. When I found him he was speaking to someone(I assumed a customer)so I waited patiently for about 2 minutes asked and was ignored and then they left the aisle together. I followed to the next aisle & they did not stop talking and asked again over their conversation and was IGNORED again. So I placed the items I had on a shelf and left the store. I will not be back when I am ignored by the staff. Congrats on losing a customer.

Saturday evening is not the best time to go shopping at stop and shop in Peekskill. Lots of the variety of Peekskill and people that cant find their money or debit card. The staff is friendly and great. Prices are a bit high, great selection though!Xo

My only problem is the meat department. They closed by 3pm or they refused to cut your meat the way you like it..

Prices are a little high, last time i got a rotten watermelon, and evenWhen i brought it to there attention they wouldnt give me another one or credit towards another one. The meat dept is very high priced on most meats.There prodice is much higher then shop Rite or Trader Joes.

People that work there are very rude and act like they dont care about customer service. There was one girl on there register that was disgusting to the young lady that was bagging the food. I believe that the managers should pay more attention to how they treat people especially if they work together.

This store is charging $10 for a pack of four rolls of Charmin toilet paper. This is price gouging and is illegal.

Good food selection, great deli and bakery options, and decently helpful employees. The scanning guns they have help speed up the process, especially considering that the lines are generally long. Theres a ShopRite down the street where you can get any groceries this place doesnt have.
