Working with Lisa, the hearing aid specialist, at Beltone in Pekin, IL, was wonderful. She was able to diagnose what was causing my mother’s reduced hearing and was so pleasant and positive throughout. She competently and carefully removed most of a wax buildup in Mom’s ear, suggested ear drops to soften the remaining wax, which she will remove next week, and fitted Mom’s hearing aid with a differently shaped in ear piece, all of which made a big difference. The office manager there (Sandy, maybe?) is also most welcoming and helpful, online & in person.

I was having some hearing issues and contacted Beltone for an appointment. Upon arriving the receptionist was pleasent and paperwork was filled out. My wait time was about 5 minutes and was seated with the audiologist. She asked alot of questions and did an exam of my ears prior to the hearing test. After the testing she explained the results with me and informed me of a couple of options and general pricing. She also did a test with a pair of hearing aids so I could hear the differance, which was quite noticeable. I work at an industrial manufacturing facility and she suggested I speak with the safety dept to find a better option for ear plugs to fit my needs. As of now I have not purchased any hearing aids and they were ok with that, no pressure to buy. The exam was at no charge and when im ready.......I will be back to see them.
