Walmart in Pendleton Oregon is open until 11 PM these evenings now. It is 11/6/2021. Still have to wear a mask because of the restrictions due to the Covid virus.It continues to not have a complete line of food as it did before Covid. Tonight I was disappointed they no longer have certain brands of can dog food, since I am getting a puppy tomorrow. They have not had Manchirian (sp) chicken top ramen my favorite food, for months. They never have Code Red Mountain Dew anymore, and many people want it. The selections of products continues to go downhill, so if there are certain brands of foods you desire, I would stock up on them because it seems many items will soon be completely unavailable.Moreover, prices of items continue to rise. Great value cream of mushroom soup is 57 cents a can now. It was 50 cents a can. A box of Coke a cola use to be $6.95 for 24 cans. It is now $8.95 for 24 cans. Bananas are 59 cents a pound. Milk continues to be $2.99 for Walmart brand.Finally, I was there at 9pm to 10:30 PM. It was moderately busy. The Christmas items that I saw two days ago have been boughten. The Halloween stuff is 75 percent off, and only costumes are left. The staff continue to be personable and helpful. It is so nice because wearing a mask is frustrating, and they make my glasses fog up. I am a retired person of a fixed income, and Walmart Superstore is where I get the best items for my money. I rate the store a 4/5 only because of shortages of certain products. I wish it was precovid, and we would not be in these situations. May our food supply continue to feed us. Thank you.

I bought some needs for our trip. Greeters were nice, helpful and friendly. I saw nothing on floors, all looked organized and set. Restrooms were so cleaned, nothing broken and well supplied. Love it. Women’s restroom has flowers on the wall with a sign that says “Howdy.” I felt so welcome and I want to stop by again. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant experience. I missed taking pictures of the restroom. My son agrees, he said the male’s restrooms was so cleaned he was surprised.

Cool store. While I am a stranger in Pendleton, my cousin isnt and so everywhere we went there were folks to chat with that know her. Very sweet!We bought watermelons that were quite tasty, along with other camp food and gear.

Fairly orderly despite all of the wildfire evacuees here. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful and there seems to be a good amount of supply stock. They are also enforcing the Governors mask policy which is nice. If you dont have a mask, they have disposable ones available.

It seems to go from bad to worse as the years go on- good ol Walt would be turning over in his grave knowing how money hungry his children have become

Great place to shop. Only downfall is it seems that there running out of things! Need to bring more new things into the store like guys clothing! Not just Batman and Pokemon clothing!

There Is Never Enough Checkers. Out of the 15 cash registers, they usually have three lines open. The self-checkout should be limited to 15 items or less. Theres absolutely no excuse for people having one, sometimes two overflowing carts. Also, there should be more small carts.

Great place right in town with truck parking for about 12 trucks and lots of business near by.

This Wal-Mart is clean and seems more home town than others I have visited. The employees are courteous and helpful. It is located near other services: 3 well known drive through food services, 2 other places to shop for groceries, a bank, a pizza take out, a clothing store, a thrift store, a cannabis store, an auto parts store, a bank, and a pharmacy store.And easy access to the Interstate freeway.

In and out. Not very busy. Bustling shopping center.

The folks are very helpful and understanding & actually listen when you need help.

They dont staff enough cashiers usually. I feel sorry for the 1 or 2 that are working because everyone is frustrated with them and it isnt their fault that they arent properly staffed. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

Only one checker with a very long line of customers. When other check stands opened no light turned on then only three customers waited on and closed line with customers standing in line to check out. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will be taking my business else where.

Their selection during Covid has been the most consistent.

The store is great but checking out is ridiculous, the lines are huge due to no cash at the self check out, and the fact that some of the cashiers dont shut up and have to talk about everything they ring up. Or just talk to much

Huge store. Huge parking lot. Definitely one of the better Walmarts Ive been to.

Never any cashiers, even at the busiest of times only 2 maybe 3 registers will be open. Line wait time average of about 20 minutes. Always have way way too many pallets cluttering the aisles, and STILL they are almost always poorly stocked.

I love the team there! Through many of changes that have happened there, management and the customer service representatives have done an excellent job. I have returned items through services, ordered through Walmart Shop Pickup App which is awesome!!, also have received money through money services and had no problems. Thanks you guys!

Very disappointed in the hot deli. We were at pendleton walmart today at 6pm and the deli staff was hiding by the pastry area and clearly ignored us after pointing towards us.

The employee at self checkout today was unnecessarily difficult and rude. My boyfriend and I bought beer, so one of us had to show an ID. He showed his, but apparently they don’t accept his ID. I guess they don’t accept his Oregon ID because it’s a renewal, and the DMV gave him a paper copy until the card comes in the mail... To avoid the problem she was causing, I gave her my ID. Then, she hovered over us while we completed our purchase. I don’t understand why that happened because we haven’t had an issue anywhere else. The only thought that comes to my mind is that he is Mexican, and she thought his ID was fake. It is so upsetting to STILL have to deal with situations like this.

Barely adequate baby clothes selection, a lot of some sizes but very little or none of others. Limit supply of swimwear in most popular sizes for men. Grateful though that there at least was a variety type store in Pendleton.

As nice as this is to have a store thats a stop and shop for everything, they are often slammed and wiped out. Maybe this is a small thing, but I go there to see if they have certain flavors of Mountain Dew. Theres so many holes in the shelf, I have no idea if theyre sold out or what. Finding an associate to ask, is just as hard as finding the right flavor of pop. Or soda if you call it that.

Would give a higher review because the employees are very nice and helpful. BUT the checkout lines are 30 minute long, by the time you get thru checkout your frozen goods,ie ice cream, frozen meals, etc are thawed out and melted. How pathetic are the managers of the Pendleton store to be walking around doing nothing while 2 checkers are handling long lines. Im done throwing stuff away.

Roughly 60 or 70 people waiting to check out at one time at 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday. There are only three check stands open, And only one section of self checkout. This is mismanagement, I refuse to believe that Walmart cannot afford the payroll or humans to run the business in a moderately efficient way. The manager should be ashamed of themselves, people in small towns put up with this only because they have to.

Staff was friendly, we were on our way through and stopped to pick up. Few supplies and the staff was great. Lots of items they were out of, but for the most part it was very clean and well kept.

Kicked me out for no mask due to medical reasons, couldnt restock my rig with necessities, due to management, despite me at the very least doing my best to maintain distance from others out of respect, and courtesy.Wasnt hurting nobody wasnt bothering anyone. God forbid an OTR driver like myself try and keep stocked with food.Atleast I was able to get my refill from pharmacy without any issues.Kudos to the Pharmacy dept for polite and courteous staff.

Good all around store

This was a delightful trip. Used self checkout and the retail clerk manning her station was happy to interact with me as if we knew each other for years. I didnt know the young woman but she shared her life activity with us about how she was preparing for Christmas and that a pet who hibernate had drifted into hibernation with perfect timing for her to start putting her Christmas decorations where his cage had been.

Always helpful when your there but you can never get them to answer the phone

This particular Walmart gave you the feeling that you wished you’d made a list so as to get the hell out of there. I guesss it is like most Walmart’s except that one in Rawlings Wyoming. It might be out of your way... a long way but worth it.

Its a Walmart, just like the rest, shelves half empty, employees dont really care. Not the Walmart it used to be when Sam Walton was still alive.

Lousy. Hardly ever have what you need in Pendleton store any more. 4:30 in the afternoon and maybe there was 10 gallons of MILK on the shelf.

Always a good place to stop. Bathrooms clean with lots of soap.Idea for travelers, start carrying your own (fabric) hand towels so you dont have to use paper towels or the hand air dryers. Little more sanitary these days.

I cant get enough of this place idk about u but walking into this store aimed for one item just doesnt happen Id highly recommend shopping here give them a shot!!!

They dont care about public accommodation for people with a disability or exemption instead they try to turn someone who has nvr been arrested into a criminal for mask refusal. No Law just a request that can be formally declined cus products wont matter if goods and services go bad.

Its on (I swear) my wifes bucket list to visit each and every Walmart during our travelas to the National Parks. 67 out of 419.This Walmart was well stocked, friendly employees who actualy were of help.

Went in to pick up several things such as some COLD WEATHER GEAR, ie. Snow boots, 🏂 pants & coat. As well as a few other random items for Christmas gifts & things my girlfriend & I NEEDED a few more things that we wanted but really couldnt afford but hoped for a miracle that would allow us to be able to get everything we wanted to get... UNFORTUNATELY ☹️😣😔 WE FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT THE SPECIFIC STORE WE WENT TO HAD ALMOST NONE OF WE WANTED. ENDED UP spending over $300 on only a small amount of items that most of them werent even on the original list of things we were waiting/hoping to be able to get..

Always full of very grumpy customers, staff is more concerned about BSing with fellow employees than helping customers. Ive heard many horror stories about how rude the GM is, though Ive never talked to her myself.

I live here in hermiston but I have lived at other places in my life. Ive NEVER been at any wallmart, hell even any other store EVER that has been as trashy as this place. Its not the staff its the people that shop there and just push you without saying anything every time you go there
