We had a coach being transported through the area that incurred a coolant leak. Called Tom in service and he was able to get us right in that morning. The Tech, Greg found a leaky coolant filter which he changed and got our driver on the road promptly with more than fair pricing. We will be recommending these guys to everyone traveling through the area. Thanks again.

My Dad broke down in his semi just before the exit for Woodpecker Truck. The wrecker service was able to come out quickly and pick him up off the road and get him to safety. They found that the engine in his truck had completely failed. Happen to be that they had on the lot exactly what my dad was looking for in a replacement. Older N-14 International Eagle with single drive. The replacement truck needed another axle put under it and the team there was able to complete quickly. Any question my dad had he advised was answered immediately.My dad had to stay the night in a hotel which was provided by the company along with treating him to a couple meals while he waited for the installation. They also topped off the new truck with fuel. Dad felt that he was treated fairly on price and enjoyed the time that he was there even though he was having to replace his truck. Great Experience. Even though he does not make many trips to OR he said if he gets out there again he will stop by just to visit.

Emergency break down, truck lost drive line and was unable to get off the road way, called woodpecker as Google listed they were the closest in the area, I called and dispatched their after hours emergency wrecker to recover tractor and move trailer off roadway, where another dispatched truck in the area would recover and deliver load. I called the next morning to be updated on the situation I was informed truck had arrived and they would get inspection done and update me, I called 3 days later and was told, “a drive line would be needed and everything else was ok.” I was offered a used drive line as an option as a new replacement wasn’t “readily,” available although some modification would be required, I said yes that would be acceptable, please let me know ASAP if that is a viable option, as they outsource this type of work, and they would need to verify from the outsource company on a timeline of how quickly this could be done, in case buying them new direct replacement was a faster option, I call back in 3 days, I ask for update status on unit and was told they were waiting on parts, I explain to them (different service writer of course) what was supposed to happen, I am told they will get with the machine shop and get back to me. 3 days later I call back for an update I am told the driveline is back and installed, and I am given a total for the bill including the towing, I wait till following week to send driver to recover truck, with another driver making delivery nearby, I call to handle the invoice before their arrival, and I am now told I needed a yoke in addition to the driveline, of course changing the total of the Invoice I was given by nearly 800 dollars. So apparently, they don’t call customers for anything including authorization, I spoke with the manager and got a chuckle at how numb and automated he was with his response, so ultimately without arguing I paid the invoice, and recovered the truck 3 weeks after a driveline failure at which not once did they proactively get in touch with me the customer or even bother to get approval for additional parts, or labor. This repair facility is along the way of my dedicated fleet route, however, is now black listed by my company as well as the owner operators leased on.

Anything truck-wise, Woodpecker Truck & Equipment is the place to go. About a year ago, I made some important purchases on behalf of my company; the trucks I bought have been a great addition. Even better than that, I have also used their road service a couple times, which has been very handy. Like they say, they do trucks the best.

Woodpecker Trucks has been a big help in more than one way! To begin, they helped me in locating the right truck I needed. But that was just the beginning. When I needed a little repair and a towing service, they weren’t far away. Like I said, they have been really helpful to me and my trucking needs.

Buying a truck is a huge deal, literally and figuratively. I carefully searched before I made a purchase for my company. Do you know which company I choose? Woodpeck Truck, of course! I purchased a dump truck under the budget we had in mind. It’s been a great investment that’s been getting the job done.

So, to say that the experience I had here was bad would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in the door, the first lady to greet me (well not greet so much as scowl) was rude, I asked where the repair lounge was and she looked at me like I was from another planet, then grunted ad pointed behind her. Great start, (I sort of knew what to expect when the sign out front says Jesus loves you) then get to the back and gee Im sorry Im bothering your counter staff in the repair department by asking where the lounge is, total jerk running the counter, really wanted to throw something at him. How a jack a$$ like this can be allowed to work anywhere is a mystery. I guess since they are the only game in town they can be jerks all day. Went upstairs to the dirty lounge to wait. Now the delays (three days) were not the fault of woodys thats not what the review is about, in my entire three days there on and off I only dealt with one, let me repeat that ONE person who was not a jerk, and that was the manager of the repair department, i watched the jerk behind the counter be rude to everybody who came in. Also really questioned the end result of things, not sure the truck wasnt actually fixed, as when it was wheeled out to do a load change the check engine light was not on anymore, and when I asked about this the jerk behind the counter became very evasive. Very bad experience would recommend everyone go somewhere else.UPDATE FROM RESPONSE FROM OWNER-Im not the person you think I am. You have responded to the wrong customer. I did love that your response mentioned respect must be given to be received I think that says everything about your approach to customer service. If you start by treating us well, we will treat you well, but if you dont treat us well, we are entitled to treat you badly. Got it, read the review and the response from the owner to understand what your getting into. Especially since you KNOW the issues you had with another customer and thought that person was me. Guess you might have more of an issue with customer service than you think. Have a nice one. LOL

Lynn was great! Woody is a star! I am a disabled vet. 70% PTSD.. I asked for help getting my own dump truck and they came through! Things got slow and I went behind a few payments. They offered to help defer a payment and keep me going. Top notch equipment and their shop does great work using only premium parts.

Budget truck broke down outside tri cities made it to Woodpecker in one piece. Management allowed me to park on site for 24 hour wait for truck swap. Very friendly and assisted with any questions we had. Awesome place.

We blew out our radiator and fan on our Dodge 3/4 ton diesel towing a 32 foot 5th wheels on Cabbage hill eastbound. Tony the tow truck driver got us to Pendleton safely and efficiently. Kudos to him. Excellent job. Many thanks.

Had a check engine light for boost pressure, they cleared the code and no further issue was found. I went to pay the bill and they said there was no charge. Nice to know there are still truck repair shops out there that dont try to rob you!

Everyone from the front desk to the parts counter to service is really rude. They talk you like youre an idiot or literally laugh at you if they think you ask a stupid question. I have to use them for work but if it were up to me Id find somewhere else.

I was tasked by our company to purchase new dump trucks. I’m no truck expert, so I was nervous with this task. I was about 15 minutes into my search and was about to give up; that is, until I came across Woodpecker Truck & Equipment Inc. I found Kenworth dump trucks at very reasonable prices. I know where to search first if I ever need to purchase trucks again.

Piss poor excuse for a shop. Was told at exit 216 to come to the shop after mechanic came and diagnosed problem as bad alternator and that he had one at the shop. I drove to the shop at like 10 pm and waited for over an hour only to figure out he didnt have the part. Next time Im told to come to the shop I will refuse until he has laid his hands on that particular part. The sad part is my boss will still have to pay even if the mechanic had a DUH look on his face the whole time and wasnt able to fix our truck. The mechanic basically told us he was going home and we were stuck there. I promise you if the batteries have enough life, I would drive to the next shop, whoch is exactly what I did!
