I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Usually most pawn shops in the area are real just downright dirty, dingy, and cheesy, but not this place Jacks is on a whole other level all together. Really its a very clean establishment, everything was well organized, and neatly displayed.The merchandise very reasonably priced and Jack didnt lowball me either!? Fixed my late grandmas gold necklaces I’d worn. The clasp on one and cleaned it. The other the gold long chain had broke. What a Great jeweler. The pic is of the twisted chain he fixed its clasp. Jack is one of the nicest pawn shop owners Ive ever met. He cares about the customers who come through and is honest with his prices. He does great work on jewlery and sells at great prices. We recently bought a Kirby vacuum from him with all the attachments and at a price that cant get any better. Jacks is literally our favorite pawn shop.

This place is great. I’m always uncomfortable going to pawnshops but Jack is fantastic. I needed some emergency cash and he helped me out and surprised me that he knew the value in my camera equipment and didn’t lowball me at all. We ended up having a great conversation about his son’s camera work in the film industry. To top it off when my ticket was getting written up I overheard him offer to clean a young ladies ring for free so she could get more value for it on FB market. You don’t stay open for 35 years without having great customer service. Seriously the most honest shop in Pensacola.

I would not recommend Jacks Super Pawn & Jewelry to anyone. A few years ago, Jack talked me into letting him sell a brand new video camera of mine on consignment, piece-by-piece online and in his shop, after giving me a tiny payment up front. Jack never made any attempt to sell any of my brand new video cameras parts online or in his shop. And every time I inquired about it--whether or not he had done as he had promised--he just made excuses, and refused to talk to me. Other pawn shops had warned me about Jacks Super Pawn & Jewelry, and I initially asked Jack about these warnings, but he just denied the other pawn shops claims--and I believed him. They were right all along. Jacks Super Pawn & Jewelry cannot be trusted--because Jack cannot be trusted.

Where do I start? Ah yes the beginning. So I went to another pawn shop right before Jacks Super Pawn just to sell an old speaker so I could eat that night. They refused to take it because I didn’t have a charging cable. I was upset and hungry. I also had no clue where I was going to sleep that night because the shelter turned me down because I was carrying a long board. I went into Jacks Super Pawn and they automatically said they would give me 10 dollars and allowed me to haggle. No questions about a charging cable. Jack the owner asked for my ID and I accidentally handed him my permanent resident card aka work visa which sparked conversation with Jack and I. He told me about his uprise from coming to this country with hardly anything and now he is doing well for himself. I told him about me being homeless and hungry and not getting a very good break. He offered me work on a fixer upper house and said I could crash there. Mind you it was not a 5 star hotel or even a 3 but it was the biggest blessing in the world. I would work on the house and he would come by every day and make sure I had money for food and toiletries. He even gave me clothes out of his own closet. This man is an amazing caring man and did not have to do anything but give me 10 bucks for a speaker and never see me again but he gave me a chance and I will never forget the amazing man that changed my life and when I was at rock bottom. This man will remind you that honesty is the best policy and that if you try good things will start coming your way. Jack reminds me of my father and I now have a good friend for the rest of our time.

My fiancee and I were in Florida visiting family and going flea market shopping when we decided to pop into jacks super pawn. The staff was wonderful and super friendly. Jack was hilarious and helpful and really wanted to make sure we found what we wanted. My fiancee found his wedding band there and I saw some things I liked but nothing fit. Jack went in the back and rummaged through a bunch of vintage rings and found something that fit me perfectly and was beautiful! We had a lot of fun hanging out and joking with the staff, and walked out with two amazing wedding rings for an extremely reasonable price. We will surely be returning when we visit next year!

I went in to see if a pocket watch I owned had any gold in it...Jack looked at it, and discovered it didnt, but also gave me some tips on opening the watch, cleaning it and recommended someone in Pensacola who could tune it up or repair if needed. I havent used a pawn shop for over 20 years but the banks were closed and I couldnt find my debit card. I guess it is the wild paint on the building but earlier in the day I had ridden past Jacks and I remembered it. The atmosphere was welcoming and I was given a fair deal. Of course I didnt want to sell the items but I couldnt find my ticket to remember the date I needed to go back by. I called and they looked it up and Ill be by there in a couple of days. Jacks Super Pawn is a great local business. I personally have not completed a transaction there but I just got a handgun on layaway and Jack was a great guy to talk too. He was very reasonable in these hard times and will work with you on just about anything.The only real knock on the pawn shop as a whole was its selection. Its a tad small compared to, say, specialty pawn or other similar size pawn shop. This is not to say that what they have is crap, by no means is that true. What I was able to see and hold, seemed good quality, good condition stuff.If there is such a thing as an honest Pawnbroker, Jack is it

Walking in I cant believe this is a place that is a legit business, everything is so dirty & in disrepair. After standing around waiting for a while a foreign man behind the counter called me over to look at my jewelry. Instead of just kindly telling me he wasnt interested he was incredibly rude & insulting which was shocking to me. Fine you dont want to buy my stuff thats perfectly fine but dont be rude. I most certainly will never go back to this disgusting shop.

Well as thing turned out my experience was very wrong with my fiancee and his ring he left with Jack and was told 2 to 3 days and the ring would be finished. Well as of today I had to go retrieve the ring and not one single thing had been done. Jack only wanted to call my cell phone at 9 at night and flurt with me. I am very dissatisfied with the way he handles buisness. I was supposed to get a couch and loveseat but that has never been delivered which Jack promised it would be . Not true still nothing, My fiancee is a disabled Veteran and I am disabled myself all we were looking for was to be treated fair. My fiancee spent some cash in that place on gold . I just cant believe that someone would handle their buisness that way..Thank you Chellie Palmer

I remember it like yesterday my mom brought my a diamond blue ring with hearts on each side and I loved it sooo much I never took it off. I was in Pensacola from california and I was searching for knowledgable service and i purchased a ring from them that was of very good quality. I found it for cheap when in other stores were more expensive and Jack fixed my watch. Jack is a very polite, knowledgable pawn shop owner. By far this is the best pawn shop i went to in Pensacola. If I could give this pawn shop zero stars I would. Theyre liars, thieves and somehow, magically avoid consequences for the wrong doing that theyve participated in. Police record shows that property of my family was on hold and they sold it wrongfully and lied to an officer of the law and to a grieving family. The promised to call and never did. Dealing in stolen property is a felony and they deserve to be charged along side the gentleman who took family goods from us.
