Had an appointment at 7:30 didnt get to it till around 8: 30.till 8:30. They drove it 20 feet they couldnt find it they didnt drive it, not professional ticket to Firestone got it fixed for nothing on the spot. I was expecting a little more from a former Marine. Mike said that he could look at it he had to man the phone...... I dont think they wanted to work look like to me.Marinestrust him with your life but you cant trust him with your sister.just because hes a Marine doesnt mean that hes any goodNot today. Not impressed, I wont Go back situations

We drive a 2010 Acura RDX. Older RDX is known to have myriad of problem once it gets close to 100k, particularly the CV axle. We set sail exploring our options and did extensive research finding the right OEM/after market axel after finding how expensive this work can be. Voila! We found it! This is our first time going to this shop and we had a great experience from inquiring over the phone to dropping our car off to get serviced with the new axles. Mr. Mike and Steve was so nice and took the time to contact us to make sure everything is great after our car left their shop. We can go on and on about how great OUR experience is, but well leave you to experience it too, so we highly recommend for yall to come here for any automotive service needs! The shop is local and veteran owned with longstanding great reputation.

Blow a belt on my vehicle on the way to work also had some water on the windshield... humm. They replaced the belt and the water pump was bad. No extra charge for the rush will go back felt treated fairly

Tried to rip me off said my A/C had to be totally replaced $1,800 found another mechanic I only needed the compressor replaced $500 owner blatantly lied and said shards had gotten into the entire system. My husband and I were in a pinch. We live off Olive road and Davis highway. Our 2001 Nissan Xterra was ran on a home-use diagnostic test. It showed issues with the O2 sensor. We desperately need 2 vehicles as we both work, and have other responsibilities that require either of us in different locations. We prayed and sought guidance from God for the RIGHT place to go. There are multiple mechanics in this area, we called several, but none felt right until we called Alternative Automotive. Long story short, (as I could go on much longer,) Kim and his mechanics are not only humble, respectful, but their integrity won us from the start. Everything is Great!I have taken my car to Automotive Alternative four times. Two times, I was not charged because nothing was wrong. If it is not broken, they do not fix it. The other two times, I had work done without any complaints. My family goes there and now my friends since, I told them about Automotive Alternative. In addition, to the personal service, the shop is decorated in a unique way that will make you feel at home. Great people, great service, great location!

I took my car in to have the radiator, hoses, and water pump replaced. I let them know a few days ahead and brought it in on a Monday. They finished by the end of the day and did a great job. Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction and understanding. These are great, honest people, and I will definitely be bringing my car back the next time it needs work.

Charged me $600 for an oil change an a tune up on a 2004 Ford Ranger. Hey I would have been better off goin to World Ford. Then gonna tell me nobody wanted to work on my truck. Mike and Kym always have the clients best interest in mind, and it shows in their work. I have used their services for years with different vehicles and have never been dissatisfied. They are honest, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. This most recent visit, Mike went above and beyond to step outside and show my son how to check his oil and other levels on his vehicle. Needed a radiator installed in my Toyota Tundra 4/11/17.found their number,made arrangements for it to be put in.while talking to Mike found out I was only about a mile from their location.upon arriving there Mike told me be ready in about two hours.my wife and I walked across street,had lunch when we returned he told us we could wait in lobby.I think total time was about one and half hour.price reasonable and great service.this all took place while we were on vacation.would recommend them for anything I wholl surely go back if I ever have too.

While traveling for the WE in Pensacola we had a problem with a serious oil leak with our Jeep Liberty.In a first time We stopped @ Hill-Kelly (Jeep dealer @ Pensacola), they proposed a 2 days waiting just for a diagnostic!We went away and we stopped @ Automotive Alternative to ask for an help explaining that We were on our way back to Orlando.The guys there have been extremely comprehensive and helpful.In 2 hours the problem was fixed.The quote was $350 for a complete hose replacement and finaly, it was just a loose screw and we paid $86.Congratulations to the team for their honesty, their quickness and their skill.

Probably have had my truck in this place about 3 times over the last year or so, minor issues each time. Every time I was given a clear description of the problems, honest answers, and these guys just get it done simple as that. Very friendly staff and very easy to work with, my truck has 240k miles on it and runs like a champ, I wouldnt take my vehicle any where else.

I needed a private owner pre-purchase inspection done with little lead time. Kim was nice enough to fit me in same day and even performed the inspection himself. He was very thorough; from engine and transmission condition, to all body damage, interior wear & tear, and even which lamps were burned out and how well the AC performed. Was told my truck was too old and wouldnt give me the time of day. Rude.. just needed my rear end worked on they havent changed much if you can build a 2015 trucks rear end you can build my 87 rear end. Instead you were rude and told me my truck was too old. You will never get a recommendation from me or any business from me and you probably dont care anyway. Horrible business practice. I guess they only work on things they think are easy. No good mechanic shop would be that way

Kia auto sports had my vehicle for a/c service and charged me $170 for 1 hr work which did not solve my a/c problem. I took it back and 1 and 1/ 2 hr later I gave up on them. Went across the street and it took them less than 10 min to diagnose the problem. It was the a/c door under the dash. Why couldnt a factory trained trained find it? Now I have cold air and a new place for repairs.

Great service at an amazing price. Im so thankful for Kim and his team in Automotive Alternative. I had another Napa Certified Mechanic near Perdido try to charge me more than twice of what Kim quoted me for. I have already recommended them to a fellow military family.

I discovered they’d been ripping off the prior owner to a vehicle I just bought. She had Alzheimer’s and would go every few hundred miles. Sure enough they didn’t deny her money for multiple oil changes a year, and other repairs like double batteries, and double the warranties. All because she didn’t know any better. Just disgusting, and I’ll be letting her family know when I meet with them. 20,000 miles in just 10 years. Hope to God they sue the brakes off this place.

Creative Solution Saved Hundreds$$$Part of my water pump housing had rusted out. Instead of replacing a large difficult-to-access piece of the engine, they tapped the hole and threaded a plug to seal it off. They could have been greedy and sucked more money out of the situation, but Kim and Mike are top-notch professionals with an honesty that is rare in the business. If I cant fix it, I bring everything I need to them. No, this isnt the first time Ive been there... Ive been bringing my business to them since I came to town 9 years ago.
