Mark has wonderful customer service and made me feel at ease. He was helpful and very fast since I was just passing through on my drive. He even helped me back out my U-Haul, who does this anymore? Mark does. what a gem! They changed my tire on a U-Haul auto transport, and I was able to get back on the road quicker than expected.

Called them at 3:49 pm on 7/4/21 to come out and change a tire on our tow truck. I was told 45 mins-1 hour and told the service call is $175 plus whatever needed to be done to the tire. I got patched through to the “on call guy” Tommy and he said it was $350 because of the holiday. I agreed to the price. An hour and a half after waiting I called back and was told he’d be there as soon as possible. 3 hours later our company owner called and At 7:19 pm they called me back to tell me they are sorry but they aren’t coming. Their driver isn’t answering their calls. Except the driver they patched me through to was Tommy. He’s the one that said the driver wasn’t answering. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I just cannot believe that no one is gonna show after 3 hours of making us wait. All for nothing.

Called this company on Sunday evening because I had a flat tire and there wasnt a spare in the car in which I just purchased and Tom told me he would call me right back forgot to hang up the phone and the conversation he had in the back ground was that because I was an amputee and had no spare I probably didnt have any money and the lady who answered the phone had already informed me that it would be 175 dollar plus the cost of replacing it which I was fine with but because I was an amputee without a spare I couldnt have any money would never do business with these people

Nope. I cant say anything good. The place looked sketchy when I arrived, and sketchy it is. I brought my RV in to see why my front tires were riding rough. Had them (two front 19.5 tires) balanced for $68.80. Left there and they felt even worse than before. Took them to Vannoys in Gulf Breeze to have all six balanced and their comment was: the back 4 were fine, but the two front tires were BADLY out of balance (the ones that Howell tire did). While at Howell tire, I requested a quote for ONE tire caliper, and their quote came in at $1400. Vannoy did all 4 calipers, pads and flushed the brakes, and balanced all 6 tires for $1100. Im not even going to bother going back to try to get a refund from Howell: Chalk it up to a lesson learned. Hope that you wont have to find out the way that I did.

We came from out of state and had a flat on our trailer. The nice gentleman came, checked our tire, replaced it on site, and checked the other tires also. Highly highly recommend this company. Keep up the great work!!!

What can I say about these amazing guys that hasn’t been said yet. Truly amazing standup genuine people whom actually care and take care of the customers. The moment I first met Mark, I felt the vibe that people cannot fake, he was a genuine stand up individual who didn’t try to talk me out of my wallet. In fact, he tried not charging me however I couldn’t do that. He was a God Send and he staff were going above and beyond and we felt like family more than anything. When you see someone who runs a business like that and is grateful for every customer they have, it makes you wonder how you can deal business with big corporation competition. I would rather give my local business the chance along with knowing that these guys are putting food on their tables by being honest and genuine. I don’t care if I have to wait to be fit in or not because we were in and out and the same with the second time and mind you, his guys had to do our car the old fashion way with just a Jack because our cars are too low. Not one of them complained or charged extra, they took the time to wrench it by hand one by one. I owe them the bestest review as possible because they made us feel that love and care. U-haul rental location. Great service

On Jan 11, 2020 I dropped off 13 semi truck casings of 10 were saleable and havent received a check yet. Brett one of the owners keeps putting me off saying he would call back about the casings. He also said that he doesnt know when the check would be mailed. Looks like I may have got the short end of the stick. What a ripoff.

We blew a bearing in our camper on the way out of town. Called them up and talked to Perry. They got us in that morning and out the next day. The mechanic, Mark, did a great job and the price was right. Im so glad I chose this shop to work on my RV and will definitely use them again if were in the area. Thank you!

Have dealt with this company for 20 years. Prices are good, quality of tires great, I buy Michelin tires. Never had a problem with Dave Howells. Never any flack when time to rotate or rebalance. Recently had a problem with a cargo trailer tire. They got the exact tire I wanted and gave me a chance to come in the same day and took care of me.Never been treated rudely, always professionally.

These people are very honest. We went in with two tires that were low. We thought we were going to have to replace both tires. He told us one tire had a hole in it. But, he was able to patch it. The other tire was just low due to Winter contraction and cold air. He could have very easily charged us for two new tires. It paid off. We went back for an oil change and check up because our fan started making noise.

This place is top notch in my book. Heres my little experience. May 2015. Driving 40 Motorhome, I was flagged over by a concerned motorist following me and he explained that one of my real wheels was wobbling. Dave Howell service truck just happened to come by and he stopped and took a quick look, told me all looked well and I then followed him to Dave Howell Tire shop. These men then stopped their work, jacked up my 20,000 pound rear and did thorough inspection of my rear wheels while they were turning. All was well, seems that the hub cap was not mounted properly and giving illusion of wobbling but wheels were in fact just fine. They remounted my hubcaps properly, and said no charge at all. Took these guys at least half hour of time. I passed out a few $20 gratitude tips and left. Dont find this level of concern and fairness in downtown New York City, but I did at Dave Howell Tires. Thanks!!

Local family business mounted and balanced six RV tires at a great price. Courteous and friendly people who special ordered the tires for us and started installing them as soon as we arrived. Very knowledgeable and gave us some great information about tire maintenance and care.

They have good prices on quality tires. However it takes a while to get service. The people they have work hard but it always seems like everytime I go here there is not enough people to get the work done. So plan on dropping your vehicle off and not staying. Outside that they are friendly and offer a wide range of tires from passenger cars to commercial trucks and equipment. Three stars for time it takes to get service. Outside that no complaints.

We had a great experience with Dave Howell tires. Our tire blew on our travel trailer driving down to Pensacola. When we arrived at our camp site Pensacola Beach RV resort gave me their name and said to call. I was a little Leary due to the really bad experience I received from another road side assistance company in Kentucky. But wow did they impress. Came out to my RV site replaced the bad tire put it on and fixed the issue caused by the previous company in Kentucky. I will keep their # handy if I ever need help in Pensacola again.

After years of using another tire co i decided to try dave howell tires ....great decision ....needed tires balanced ...while balancing them tech noticed my back brakes were shot ....all repaired....great service ....,noticed technicians had great attitudes and professionalism ....all that to say ... We r dave howell tires convertsOffice personnel very engaging and polite!!!

Had a flat on my RV, they fixed the tire; I got both outsides replaced and the even put the spare I had to use for the flat back under the unit for me!!! All within an hours time! Thats two tires and a spare put back! Lindsey was great to work with too!

Nothing at all, paid nearly $3500 for front end work and when I got my truck back it wont even turn to left and somehow the horn wont work now. Plus at time of drop off I was told two days to do the work and it was kept two weeks. We took the truck back to see if theyd make it right and they deny to make it right.

Dropped off my RV for 2 tires on Saturday. They never called me to say it was ready. Picked it up Wednesday. Someone turned on all the switches inside and ran down my battery for the generator. Had to ride home in the heat and had to buy a new battery. Theyre supposed to call me back with a estimate for other work and I still havent heard from them and its been 4 days.

This was the only tire shop in Pensacola that could access BF Goodrich KOs for my Nissan Hardbody 4x4 in one day. I really needed one tire so I could get back on the road, but due to their friendliness, professionalism and fair prices, I purchased a full set. They were also very accommodating to my three miniature schnauzers who were traveling with me.

Dave how is been in business over 30 years and there is good service the people here know what theyre doing and even when theyre busy it is worth the wait to get your service here this is one of the only places in town that can handle a big rig such as a semi or a large RV with tires that they have in stock which is an important message for travelers they have a waiting room with a TV add restroom .

Soon after leaving the Tastee Freez in Milton the steering on my RV started acting up. Thinking I might have blown an inside tire I pulled in at Goodyear Tire. It was determined that I likely had a caliper locked up and they couldnt work on big rigs. They referred me to Howells. i limped in there at 3:30 on Friday afternoon. They got right to me, confirming the diagnosis I had been given. They ordered the parts but wouldnt receive until morning. I spent the night in their lot, near the front door and next to the well-lit overhang. Saturday morning the very nice mechanic got started right away and had me out of there by 10 AM. Admittedly my credit card suffered a pretty big hit but I was very fortunate that it happened near them rather than out in the boonies or on the interstate. Many thanks to the guys at Howells for taking such good care of me and my furry companions.

Recently rented a U-Haul trailer from Dave Hollow Tires. When I hooked up to it, the gentleman noticed that there was a light out on the passenger side. He told me to pull around to the front and have a mechanic fix it. When I got around to the front, I met with this mechanic and he commenced to telling me that he doesnt fix no d***n lights. He told everyone around the business that it wasnt his job, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Whenever he DIDNT fix it, they came outside and just told me to take the trailer how it was. I understand that this business is a tire shop, however if you are also renting U-Haul trucks and trailers, then do not run off the business just because it doesnt pay as much as getting a new set of tires put on a vehicle. If this is the way they do business, I would never go to them for any repairs. Very dissatisfied.

I asked them to balance my tires and they made me wait 45 min and pay them 17.00 to do one tire. When I asked why they didnt do the others they told me to come back in a few days and they would do the others. No thanks. I wont go back.

Fairly happy with service. I got the impression on tire side they dont really care.

I took my motor-home in for safety service, oil change for engine and generator which they did. However, DO NOT let them touch your inverter / house batteries for your motor-home. I was in route to McAllen Texas. When I got to the RV Resort in McAllen a tech hooked the batteries up like they were suppose to and everything works just fine now. I am sure Dave Howell will be glad not to see my motor-home again as I am not to take it to them again. BTW - hang onto your wallet. Another $2,098.00 lesson learned.

My experience with this company is nothing short of a blessing and has greatly restored my faith in humanity. My huaband and I were on our way from Pensacola to Andalusia Al with 2 of our children in the vehicle at 6:00 pm on a Friday night when we had a blow out. I made phone calls for over an hour trying to get someone to come help us. At first Mr. Gary told me his fees and I told him that I couldnt afford what he charges and ended our call. Shortly after he called me back and asked if I had found anyone to come. I told him no to which he replied he couldnt leave me on the side of the road so he was sending someone to me with a tire. I then asked him what he was going to charge me and he said whatever we could afford. When his service man arrived he was extremely nice and helpful. This man had our tire off of the truck, the old tire off the rim, the new tire on the rim, and our tire back on our truck in a matter of about 6 minutes. When we tried to pay him he informed us that Mr Gary had told him that it was free of charge. After many thanks his the servicemans response was that they were just there to help and make sure people were safe. I can not say enough good things about Mr Gary or the pleasant man that he sent to save us tonight. I will definitely be doing business with this company in the future!!!

Be ready to pay slot...bought fuel pump #1, didnt last 9000 miles, they replaced it with pump#2, it lasted year and a half, almost 900$ with cheap warranty, went somewhere else to replace it and they told me the 2ND that Howell tires put on was a remanufactured one from Amazon, now I have one for 200$ less with lifetime warranty...DO NOT GO TO THEM

Came in witha nail, they fixed the tire even though they new i wanted the expensive replacement if it couldnt be fixed. Honest local family business.

Had a 29 foot motorhome. One front brake had siezed. We were on the way to Virginia and had stopped at the Ford dealer. They were looking for someone certified to work On it. After an hour the brake had cooled enough. We passed Dave Howells and stopped for help. They pulled it in and had the parts delivered 5 minutes later. They replaced the caliper and pads in less than 45 minutes plus checked the other front wheel. Awesome service.

Had a truck taken to their shop they rebuilt most of the front end of the truck did a front end alignment on a truck that sits most of the time this truck is nothing more than a spare truck. Started hearing some noise out of the front end of the truck more like a clunking noise and found that they had left part of the front suspension loose on the left side this is the part that has to do with the front end alignment on the upper left control arm took the truck back to them after a phone call with one of the owners Gary and he said they would take care of it and make it right. I sent my son to go pick up the truck and they told me there was a bill for $75 for relining at the front end. I spoke to Gary again about it and he said it was out of the warranty. Which was 6 months or six thousand miles after I explain to him the front end would not have been out of alignment have they tightened up the front end as they were paid to do the first time he still insisted it was out of the 6 month warranty. So therefore I was paying another $75. Had I known that I would have taken it to another shop that would have given me a 1-year unlimited-mileage warranty for the same front end alignment for the same money. Needless to say after thousands of dollars are spent on the front end of this truck this is the last $75 I will ever spend with them!

I took my truck for a front end alignment I asked them if they can do it they said yes they call me back 30 minutes later and say we couldnt do it cuz you need all these parts while I go up there to pick up my vehicle and look like it hasnt even moved and they charged me for it to basically sit there it is ridiculous and a scam I have receipts showing all of my front end stuff is brand new so how do I need it if I just had it replaced and Im taking them just to get the alignment Ive already done the work on it just need an alignment but yet they charge me for stuff that I already have on there that is new
