A favorite of ours for years. Service always top-notch. Was unsure about best bait to use fishing Bayou Grande, Alicia always very helpful. Picked up a couple of crab traps based on her advice - it was a huge hit with the kids! Was able to get the live Bull minnows we needed. This is always our first stop for bait, and find out what is biting where. The combined knowledge of the entire staff much appreciated. Fair prices, Above & Beyond service.

Love this bait shop! Our go to bait shop! So helpful, thoughtful and warm. They take time to answer questions and love to do whatever it takes to help kids be successful in fishing. A family atmosphere with great customer service, laughter and kindness.

Out of any bait and tackle shop I ever shopped at, this is my absolute favorite place to come! I have been always been treated with the ultimate respect and kindness from everyone here. The most caring and kind hearted locals in my opinion, and I am sure you will feel the same way if you visit them for your fishing needs. There is live bait and your favorite types of tackle from bobbers to gulps. Great friendly atmosphere right down the road from the water! Dont forget that you can get ice and drinks as well! Snacks and so much more. ...did I mention that you can also get lottery tickets also! This is definitely a one stop shop for all your needs to be treated like family and be pointed in the right direction for anyone who needs to know a good fishing spot. I have been through some hard times (like everyone else could ) and I was amazed at how well I was taken care of by these wonderful people! I really recommend coming here! Shop is NOT open as advertised via Google Maps. We called a few times to try to check on live shrimp and got no answer (or voicemail, which wouldve solved a lot). We drove 15 minutes to go get bait and found the shop closed. Its closed Mondays and Tuesdays for anyone needing to know.

Very friendly atmosphere the workers are pretty knowledgeable on the fishing and they always have bait I really enjoy going here

Friendly staff, very helpful. Very few places carry cane poles and they have them. Locally owed and operated and try to stock their store from locally operated businesses.

Perfect location if youre fishing Heron Bayou or on your way towards the beaches. There are huge help here if you dont know what to do. I just wish they were open 24 hours.

Top Notch!!! I Pulled into the parking lot as they were closing up, looking for live shrimp, the Gentleman closing the store was getting into his car and flagged me down to ask if he could help me. I told him what I needed and he said he could help me and opened back up and got me the bait I needed. If Im ever back in the area I will be sure to stop here.

ATTENTION AQUARIUM HOBBYISTS: AWESOME PLACE TO GET LIVE FEEDERS FOR YOUR PREDATORS!Such a hidden gem out in the perdido area! Id been driving from the Innerarity area all the way out to Davis Hwy and beyond for live feeders, to feed my aquatic predators in my several of my personal home aquariums. By chance I called and was told they have live freshwater minnows, live red wiggler worms, etc. How perfect! Definitely beats the long drive and struggle of trying to keep them alive until I got home! Theyre about average price for medium/larger sized feeder minnows, and what I end up paying there, makes up for what I would have been spending in gas getting all the way out to the pet stores. Cute, quiet, clean, helpful and super friendly little store! Ill definitely be going there from now on!!!!

Business was unkempt inside and out. Rented a Uhaul trailer here last week and walked away with a dozen fire ant bites on my ankle. Paperwork to rent the trailer took longer than it should have and the staff had to call corporate to get help. My card was run 4 times, surprised I got charged only one time.

We purchased 2 pounds of live shrimp. They were put into a bucket and when we got to our destination less than 10 minutes later, more than half the shrimp seemed to be dead. Not sure if they were even alive on the first place.
