I was with this company for about 7 years and the card they had on account for me expired. Instead of contacting me they sent my info to a collection agency. Before I knew they did that I realized I was not getting water anymore (I did not know they had an expired card) so I called them to ask where my water was and they said they needed a new card. I provided them with one and continued my water service. About 2 years later this collection agency was calling me saying Kentwood filed against me bc I owed them for a cooler (which they claimed cost more than the best ones on Amazon even though I had a 5 year old plain ugly white one). I explained to the collection agent that I am still with Kentwood and still getting water and have been for the last couple years since that short gap in my service so of course I still had their cooler. They obviously ignored what I told them even though I spoke with them several times explaining YES I HAVE THE COOLER BUT I AM STILL WITH THEM!! I called Kentwood and was told by the customer service girl that everything is fine and I should just ignore the calls from the collection agency. Well my credit score dropped by like 200 points and I went through the pains of getting my credit report sent to me (which had the cooler on there) and spending hours and days on the phone trying to resolve my credit bc of the false claim filed by the collection agency and KentWood Springs. I cannot begin to tell you how bad the nightmare of dealing with the collection agency and the supervisors over there was. They just refused to listen to me or help me. I filed fraud with all the collection agencies and won and I finally got my credit score back and everything resolved but the fact that I had to go through all that for a short gap in my service while still being a loyal customer of Kentwood for all those years while they were screwing me left a horrible taste in my mouth that no amount of water could wash out. So I left them and went with a competitor. All it took was a phone call to me to say they needed a new card, or a phone call to the collection agency to tell them I had given them a new one and it would have saved me an unbelievable amount of time and tears. Why the girl did not call the agency and tell them that when I informed her I was getting the phone calls I do not know. I hope she is fired now whoever she was. But my advice to you would be to go with someone else. You do not want this nightmare.
