Had these Denver steaks tonight and let me tell you, they were life changing!! The texture is buttery with a light firmness and the flavor is bursting in every bite! I am a religious sauce user but there was so much flavor in these, no way I could taint them with sauce. I should have taken a picture off the grill but by the time they finished resting, I couldnt wait to dig in. The price and selection at The Butcher Shoppe is awesome and they have a new life time patron here!! I cant wait to have the burgers tomorrow.

This place never fails to disappoint! We are in Navarre and happily make the 45 min drive to buy our meat and spices here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They are willing to make any cuts that you need or ask for if you don’t see them on the shelves. They always have great sales also! The shop is clean and well taken care of. We always love our trips here and always come home with a great haul!

Update: Changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. My husband and the owner were able to talk on the phone. The owner apologized for our experience and tried to make things right. We appreciate the owner reaching out to us. Now I feel comfortable about coming back.The meat selection looks great, but the butcher’s customer service is horrible. I was scared and confused why the butcher aggressively denied my simply request to cut wagyu in thin slices. I just wanted to replicate a recipe I had in Japan. The front store clerk was nice and went to the back to ask the butcher. The butcher stormed out and yelled, “Look at that! I can’t cut it thinner than that!” Luckily, my husband was there and said, “I’ll take care of it then.” I was so scared and confused all I said was, “Okay.” The front store clerk apologized. Google reviews show customers had similar experience when requesting anything.

Beautiful all the way around. Helpful, knowledgeable, kind, home town feeling. They employ people who care. If you want quality and customer service look no further. I appreciate you guys.

Heard they are the best, but we live 50 miles away. have tried calling over, and over, and over. never an answer. busy signals constantly, which means they block lines. because at close time, it rolls to voice mail immediately? sorry but we will spend our $$ elsewhere, if you dont like phone calls stop playing fames with potential customers time

Wow . What an amazing gem this is. I had heard of it from listening to bbq podcasts. Home of the always hand picked A9 brisket . I got to meet and talk to the owner Kevin . Really a great guy and helpful . All of the staff in here was fantastic.Such a large range of grades of meat available here . Can definitely treat yourself with waygu or get prime if thats what you want.Will definitely visit again if in the area and will be ordering whenever I need a great piece of meat

I had herd of this place a couple of times through some friends. Living about an hour and a half from Pensacola, I did not have the chance to stop by this place. The opportunity came and I stopped by to see what the fuzz was about. I bought a Wagyu, Sirloin Cap (Picanha) AA 6-7, Ribeye and two types of sausages (pineapple sausage, cheese and jalapeño sausage).Man!! the Wagyu Picanha was amazing! The marbling, the softness and the quality were on point. Expensive, but a nice treat for someone who can appreciate a good steak, well worth it.The Ribeye was on point as well, my favorite cut with nice marbling, tender when grilled rare and juicy, cant say enough about the quality.The jalapeño and cheese sausage was real good as well, definitely will get it again.The pineapple sausage was not of my liking, not that it was bad but the sweetness just wasnt for me. A very peculiar taste just not my favorite.This place has great steak and any time Im down that way, I will definitely be making that stop.

Are you kidding me??? I bought two ribeye steaks and they came out in four pieces. Two of the pieces are shredded the other two pieces, one is very thin and the other I cannot describe it as a steak. Look at the photos and tell me if I purchased two ribeye steaks.

I eat a lot of ribeye and have perfected my cast iron recipe. The ribeye I picked up here were the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. The quality speaks for itself.

This place is incredible! For a small town butcher they have a massive inventory of all types of meat. The selection ranges from A5 waygu to choice in beef, every cut and style, to chicken, pork, and even some exotic type of meats. This place never disappoints.The staff is also very friendly and helpful always offering to help. They will great you with a smile, offer to help you find what ever you need, offer suggestions, cooking tips, and even cut something special for you.

Every time i walk into this place i am greeted as if i was family, they are helpful and and knowledgeable while treating everyone with respect. Been going for years even way back when they were on Fairfield. I will continue to be a customer.

The woman working the register is an absolute terror. I have never met someone so hostile and rude before with no rhyme or reason. I asked a couple simple questions at a time when no one was in the store and she acted as if I was asking her to do 150 hours of hard labor. Im blown away. Their prices arent even that good and are steadily above market prices. With high prices and horrid service, I cant recommend this place.

I was pretty excited to stop here on my way thru Pensacola on a trip. I forgot my larger cooler at home and had planned on picking up several briskets and other meats. I asked the kid that worked there if they could sell me a cooler to help me out he said no. They had several foam coolers in the back. Seeing how Malcom reed talks about them all the times mail order would also be part of their business? It was their loss. I was prepared to spend about 2k on meat vs what I got but I only had limited space to store meat. Maybe these kids in there should learn some customer service skills.

BEST. BUTCHER. SHOP. EVER. I drove from Augusta, GA after seeing recommendations on Youtube. It was even better that I thought it would be, and I had my expectations set very high. The Wagyu was incredible, and their Prime cuts are phenomenal. I filled up a cooler of meat to bring back with me...my only regret was not bringing 3 coolers. Kevin has offered to ship orders to my house, and Ill probably do that. All I know is Pensacola has become our new beach destination with the kids this summer...that way I can get more amazing meat to bring home and cook.

Us Puerto Ricans always have roasted pork shoulder for Christmas, I looked everywhere for the right cut and weight. The reviews led me here, my first impression when I walked into this shop was WOW This is a real butcher shop! Not only did they have the cut I needed but the weight exceeded my expectations, which was a bonus because of the amount of people I was feeding (50). Quality was A-1, I recommend this place above all other places in Pensacola. Also, the staff was just as good as the meat 😍😍

The place to buy meat! We’ve been coming here frequently and they have an incredible selection of everything with great pricing. It’s definitely a local family owned vibe and we love it. The meals we’ve made from here taste way better than typical supermarket stuff, hands down.

Always a friendly and knowledgeable staff that greats you as you walk in, bringing that local country store feel to the business. The meats are always the best quality and reasonably priced for the quality. I have never had a bad or even remotely unpleasant experience buying from them.

I went to the store a couple days ago 5 to 10 minutes prior to closing to pick up 1 item that I always get at the Butcher Shop. The OPEN sign was lighted and there a couple cars out front. There were about 4-5 people around the counter. I got out of my vehicle parked right out front and went to the door and it was locked. No employee reacted in any way or acknowledged my presence. I went back into my vehicle and looked up at the storefront and an employee turned off the OPEN sign. What a terrible display of customer service. I will never be back.

Went in today and spoke with mike i asked for 2in bone in ribeyes for my election party tonight he had them cut on the spot and boy were they delicious...excellent quality of meat and they carry one of my favorite youtubers products...the killer hog spices and rubs so i picked up 2 of those as well....i will be back ...

Wife went in to get what we always like to get...a thick ribeye and a filet. When she asked them about cutting per our normal request, they seemed bothered and asked if she had checked out what was already packaged and on display. She felt she was an inconvenience and bought what was already packed. Unfortunately this was 2 ribeyes and 2 fillets half the thickness of what she was after. Maybe they are too busy to provide the service we have become accustomed too. Bit disappointed as they have always been friendly and helpful to provide whatever you ask.

This place is awesome! NEVER buying supermarket meat again! The choices they have are astonishing. This is a must hit gem. The staff are very friendly and upbeat. They have sandwiches, keto wraps, wine, hell they even got duck bacon! Wine, cheese, everything you need. Very clean inside and out facility, newly renovated.

I believe this is the best meat selection in Pensacola. If you want it, I am pretty sure you can find it here. From basic beef to Wagyu steaks, its in the cooler cases here. There is just about any edible part of a chicken, pig, cow, lamb, etc. in this place. Prices are fair, and service is top notch.

I have to say I wasnt impressed. But I will say Im spoiled, growing up in NY I know what butcher a shoppe is supposed to have and this one let me down a bit after all the hype. Went in to get some veal, its not fresh its packaged. Now when I buy veal I dont expect to have to trim excess fat from the meat. I had to here. Used this in veal parm and the meat completely shrunk. I will say this was my first time visiting, it wont be my last. Hopefully they get better.

The very first person to come up to me and give me a warm welcome was Kevin (I think hes the manager of the store). Several other employees also told me if I needed help with anything, to let them know. I felt so welcomed there. I came in looking for oxtails and THEY HAD THEM!! :DThey have everything!! Ive been shopping here since this location has opened. The staff is great. Anytime I ask a question about a product, I get a professional response with knowledge and understanding. Its a place of great customer service, if they seem like they are following you, they are making sure products are out full and want you to see everything they have to offer. It really is true customer service. They have made several packages of meat for me. I have never once in my life been to a place that has been this friendly and helpful. Just ask and you will get an answer.

I went here for the first time today. The butcher shoppe is AMAZING. This place is a meat eaters paradise. I just finished eating a wagyu burger I bought earlier and it was so so good. Me and my girl are definitely going back there this saturday morning, this place deserves 10 stars.

Excellent service at least via phone. I have not been inside yet, but might tomorrow. The first time I ordered over the phone it was quick and easy and my wife went inside to pick it up. She said they were great to deal with. Usually I order my Korean bbq short ribs and they did perfect cuts. We drive little over an hour to pick it up but totally worth it.

Great place to get high-end meat and more at a good price without all the pretentious pricing and attitude often found in a butcher shop of this caliber, and often found in uppity shops. I was disappointed in seeing them leave my side of town, but it is worth the drive for the quality, selection and price.

Passing through and thought I would pick up something for my mother because she is having surgery tomorrow. I was not finding exactly what I was looking for and a guy came and asked me what he could help with, offered to cut something from the back and was pleasant the whole time. Very nice people here. I highly recommend!
