I didn’t do any business with them this time, but plan to in the future after today’s phone conversation with them. They offered tons of helpful advice and steered me away from replacing unnecessary parts or buying unnecessarily expensive components to make my rifle shoot the way I want it. They also spoke with me on the phone until we’ll after closing to try and help me resolve my issue. They definitely care about the craft and aren’t just trying to make a buck off of you. If I could rate 10 stars I would.

This business is located on the corner of Garden and H. The owner/gunsmith is Rick Rankin. He has been a gunsmith for the past 50 years. He is well known and well respected for his work and knowledge about barreling, loading ammo, and all repairs of handguns and rifles and shotguns. Please feel free to come in and talk with him if you have need of a gunsmith or might simply want to familiarize yourself with the purchase of a handgun for self protection. We keep it simple. And we really do appreciate our customers.

I had 2 keys made, one didn’t work, I went back and they corrected it and made a new one, just in case (at no cost, I offered to pay and they insisted that I couldn’t). Excellent locksmith service. I had to cut a key for my car, Ive been to other places in North Pensacola where they made it seem like an impossible job. Discovered this place on Garden, in 5 minutes I had my working key with no trouble whatsoever. Super recommended, they know what theyre doing.

Mrs. Uber is crazy good with locks... Gave her a key that the dealership totally screwed up (made by code with their book) and she made a key that worked with a file and the lock... In 30 minutes! Any other place would have sent me packing had I shown up with the same situation.

Rick is a whack job. Took it upon himself to thread the wrong size threading on rifle for adapter he was given. He then had the audacity to cuss me for the mistake he made. Took real will power to pay him for screwing up my rifle, so I could get out of the store with no altercation. He wont get the chance to work on anything else of mine. Beware.
