Fresh bakery, all kinds of cooked proteins, soups, all kinds of delicious foods already made. They have a tortilla making station and the workers were knocking out hundreds of tortillas, at least 10 different types of cheese, and the produce was very clean, organized and just all around a great grocery/food market!

Love to go here. I know that Ill find the right meat needed for my barb que, tamales, menudo, and so on at a good price.Check them out!

Love the sales they have on fruits and vegetables. They also have nice selection of cakes. If you are looking for meats that some other stores do not carry this is the place to find it.

I tried make an order for pizza and I kept getting hung up on. The lady didnt want to take my order because it was 7:35 and they close at 8.....so she hung up on me. Not professional at all.

Too crowded and isles are to small. People have difficulty maneuvering around. The employees are very helpful and very polite

Great choice of cooked meats carne asada, carnitas, chile verde and buches which I hardly see anywhere else.

I like just about most of the merchandise even though some specials offers are because are close to the expiration date. Thats not cool

My wife and I usually buy all are veggies here and just like at any other place, one just needs to check out everything before purchasing. I noticed that there are some bad reviews, but to be honest, I havent had any bad experiences or issues here. Oh and, we have bought pan dulce here too, tastes great. But as I stated above, we primarily purchase all our veggies here and all has been well.

Cool Mexican grocery store that also has Central American items. Its a bit crammed full of stuff and the aisles are tight, but its still great to have here. Also the bakery makes delicious Mexican bread and they make tortillas and other Mexican items too!

I went and got 20 pounds of beans at 2 dollers a pound so like 40 dollars and once I cooked them there were little bug in them I looked it up and its larva that is nasty now I have all these bean I cant eat! Then I call her and she gets rude about it and tells me no one has complained about them so to call back another day

Only went into the kitchen, but it was so unorganized. No set place to order food or pay (even though there are signs). Employees just take people from random places. Then after waiting in that long line we go to pay for drinks at the drink island, only to be told we have to go back into the kitchen line to pay for it then wait again for an employee to go to the drink island to serve us. Food was good, food service was good, system/organization was terrible.

This is the ghastly truth. I went in on a weekend and bought chicken on sale. Great sale price..wrong bought 5 packs, 3 seasoned two not. Fried them up notice the smell of chicken not smelling like chicken. While deep frying my child tastes, he says something wrong with this chicken tells me taste, I say no let me smell, I smell rot. Took back all chicken stupid lady says smells like chicken I wished I could of had her eat, she says sorry, shortens one dollar of price. I gave money to a homeless man, so I noticed short changed. Bad meat, poor selection, over priced food, why so exuberant. We are all Mexicans and dont know any better right. No you take advantage of the people will never try to shop there again. Poor customer service. The manager did not speak english I told the cashier who interpreted that was ridiculous.

Im shocked at the amount of stares I receive from the workers & security guards. Im extremely friendly and polite, saying hello, how are you? And thank you have a great day just to ALWAYS with out fail be ignored. Every single cashier is RUDE. This store needs a SERIOUS lesson in customer service. Use this store as a LAST resort store ONLY!Im not surprised at all the horrible reviews left by customers about Rio & the majority saying theyll never go here again. I hate when I have to go here. My money is better used on a clean store with kind friendly employees and quick service.This store SUCKS!!!!! The only 1 positive thing I can say is that the Mexican bread is delicious. Thats it.To any managers or employees of the Perris Rio: You suck!!!!

I absolutely love to buy my whole tilapia fish here because they fry and season and its delicious!!! Other places fry their fish as well but its not the same...it doesnt have the same taste...this place is bomb!! The only reason i dont five star it is because no one attended me tonight...stood there waiting to get helped and nothing...but they were cleaning up so its understandable..

When to check out and cashier was very rude I spoke and said hello and she didnt respond. She just looked away at other customers. I told her thank you and have a nice night and she completely ignored me. I know she is only one person but her customer service needs improvement. Even if she doesnt want to talk at least greet all of your customers with a hello and a see you again. Thats what also helps people coming back to shop in your store.

We love there pizza. But when you want to place an order they Do Not answer there phones and when they do Im literally on hold for like 10+ minutes and I have to call back because nobody will answer. Bad customer service and there employees are rude even the managers have no experience at all. Alicia is one of the managers there. She took my order I gave her my info and hung up on me. She didnt even apologize or said Thank you. Very disrespectful. So disappointed. Im not sure who the real manager is there but they need to step it up and start firing there rude employees. They obviously do not care. They are going to loose alot of there business if they keep these people.

The lady at the Deli was rude but freshness and variety of food available was good.

Have been shopping here for the past 9 years and today was my last.While leaving the store was approached by security asking for receipt like seriously?.I had the receipt in my hand an showed him that i had one but i did not give it to him.Show me where in the store policy it says i have to forcibly show the receipt?Hes job is to stop shoplifters but if you see ppl paying at the cashier why ask ?I get it if i would have just walk out not stopping at a cashier but he sees us paying.i will be spending my money somewhere else

Good sales but terrible customer service!! I just went for sweet bread and the girl was so busy talking to the other cashier that she totally turned her back on me. I was there forever with money in my hand and i had to shove the 12 bucks in her hand and get out! I didnt even wait for my 4 cents lol. I couldve ran off with something expensive and she wouldve never noticed, givennher fake money etc.

I just can’t believe how small the buns ( bolillos) became. In Winco market still the same size so on my next trip to get my favorite buns will be of course at Winco market.

Even on labor day are open the service at the seafood section was full but we got out of there in no time. Now to go home and make some Ceviche Estilo Nayarit.

Good place to eat and shop, hardly any room when its crowded and its always hard to be pushing a cart around between the isles.

I take back everything positive Ive ever said. Today was another horrible experience. Packed Sunday rush with like 2 slow cashiers. ATM out of service again and now they charge 25¢ to use a heroine style restroom with no tp. Run for the hills. Theres plenty of other options. Im done. NEVER AGAIN. Make sure the prices are right when youre being rung up. No friendly smiles and management needs to pay attention to how many people are in line and how many cashiers are on the register. Ive left twice because of the lack of cashiers. Not cool.Gave the place another try around 6-7pm slow as a snails butt.If youre in a hurry I would suggest food 4 less or stater bros a couple blocks away. Just keeps getting worse here. I just wanted to get a quick hot meal and everyone was lost.I ended up just getting something else just so I dont come home empty handed. Get a clue guys. LAST RESORT ONLY!!

I went to the meat department waited patiently for my turn for five minutes to be ignore they spoke Spanish Im black I didnt understand nothing. At the end I walked out because they dont treat others with color the same as they treat there own kind. Really bad service I will NEVER spend another dollar in their store ever again.

I do not like this store. I dont recommend buying meat from this store they change the expiration dates to new dates on their meats that way they sale them. I seen it myself and heard Employees talk among themselves to remove the expiration dates on the old meat and put new expiration dates. Employees are rude and none have a good customer service skill. I rather go to La Mexicana meat store, at least the customers will acknowledge you there.

This store Never has Mexican bread even in peak cold season you would think Management would catch on dont waste your time or gas going there .

I enjoy shopping here, specially on Wednesday when the sweet bread is on sale, today the racks of bread were pretty much empty.. a bit disappointed!

I used to love coming here for a quick shop and go but ever since they got that security guy he made me stop coming and I was a regular shopper here one day I had came with my mom and we were in a rush and what we were about to buy was right by the register and we were about to go in line and he asked to check my purse I felt so uncomfortable and violated for showing a man my personal items in my purse another time I came I had to use the bathroom so bad I was going to shop after but before I even got to the bathroom he asked to check my purse or to leave it in the front it was rude and what if I had an accident he wasnt going to buy me new clothes if i didnt make it and he wasnt going to clean the mess. I just hope he gets replaced with someone who has more respect and pays more attention to those who actually look suspicious. Dont get anything if you see him he will automatically assume youre a theif even though you have money and are wearing comfortable clothes he will assume youre homeless and poor or something like he needs to pay attention to the actual homeless and not be so harrasive and more respectful especially to women we have personal stuff in our purse that is embarrassing to let anyone see its bad enough we have the movie person to worry about

I think the employees here are recist! They barely speak English and as I was leaving the security guard stopped me and would not let me leave until I allowed him to check my purse. Needless to say I had none of their items inside! If you are white I suggest you shop at this store with caution!

Manager was a bit of a jerk. I purchased some pre packaged chicken one evening, put my groceries away, called it a night. Next day open the package it smelled DISGUSTING! It was spoiled. It was early afternoon when I returned to the store to get a refund or exchange it. The manager, a male wearing a blue polo type shirt no name tag or anything the like approached the register I was waiting at for assistance. I explained my situation and rather than apologize like any other business would have, he proceeds to basically scold me for not returning it that same day I purchased it. Really? What an ass! Im sorry but that is not a professional way to handle a situation. How about the fact that I had to spend my gas and time to return to your store because if your improper perishable foods handling? The management needs some serious training in proper customer service, stat!

Dirty floor corners and edges ceiling is super dusty and all that dust drops on to food need a deep clean

This report is on Rio Ranch Market #5, located on 460 east 4th Street Perris, CA. 92570. Time and time again I have found rotten meat on the left corner of the store (the most western side of the store, next to the herbs and spices section)! I informed one of the employees and their reply was that the meat was freezer burned! I know the difference between inedible, rotten meat and edible meat that had been exposed to cold temperatures! I understand that this is a money making business, however food safety is the most important thing in the world! Putting rotten meat on your refrigerator shelves for people to buy shows that someone does not care about their customers safety! I believe the leadership of the store needs to train their employees on proper food handling techniques and food safety! The employees working in the meat section of the store need to familiarize themselves with the definition of the word PUTREFACTION, THE FIFTH STAGE OF DEATH! The meat section of the store is Very Unsatisfactory; Please correct this deficiency! Thank You!

This place has terrible customer service. Theres no comparison to Cardenas. We went to go get some fried fish, rice and beans. My husband gave the cashier 26.25 and she was supposed to give us $10 back as change. She gave us $oo.o1. After 5 people, 3 calculators, 25 mins later they still didnt give us our change. Needless to say we demanded money back but incompetent people are useless. I will never go there and neither will my family

Too many homeless around. It is dangerous because there are too much and now it is not safe to get there alone. But it is so like a good Mexican store inside.

Usually in and out, cashiers could use some training on customer service. They need to have someone repaint the line where the shopping carts will lock, everyday you see people whose cart gets locked nowhere near their vehicle, its amusing but Im sure it can be very annoying.

Bought chicken and didnt realize it stunk until I had it in my fridge. It didnt expire for another 2 days according to the packaging. I ended up throwing it away. Ill just have to make sure I shop some where else. Extremely upsetting that they would sell bad meat.
