Full disclosure, I haven’t been in probably 30 years or more, but man did I LOVE this place. I was born and raised in NC,but my grandparents lived on Westbrook Dr. I have the best memories of visiting them every Fourth of July and making the walk down to Mr. Freeze with our entire family. Those are the best memories and that was the best ice cream. I hope to visit again someday! Thanks for the memories!

Amazing sundaes! Cheap and you get an awful lot of ice cream for the price! We got three baby sizes, I dont know how people would even finish a large one! Bursting with flavor and just so so good. Friendly staff. Cash only!The photos are for smores and German chocolate cake sundaes. We also got a turtle sundae. All were equally great!

We like this place so much, that we make the trip from Findlay. Their new strawberry soft serve is fantastic. Everything is massive- sundaes, cones, everything. This photo is a medium & 2 larges. We’ve never been disappointed. Just remember it’s cash only.

They have a tremendous amount of sundaes to choose from. I’m a peanut butter lover and was torn between the peanut butter cup and the buckeye sundae. I tried them both (on different visits) and 100% recommended the buckeye.Oh, also the building is super cute!!

This place is the epitome of quantity over quality. Like wow it’s a ton of ice cream but wow it was so mediocre. I got about 10 bites of brownie then the rest was aggressively average soft serve that you can get for 50 cents at a grocery store.Looked like a hot spot for high schoolers so I see the appeal there for the kiddos but honestly why does this place have such high reviews? Baffling. Truly.

BRING CASH! We mean it when you say it’s worth all the spare change! I love the fruit freeze with vanilla, mud sundae, and the turtle sundae. There’s always a line and it’s always worth the wait.

10 years ago, we lived within walking distance from Mr. Freeze. We checked back for a visit and made it a point to stop by. It is just as good as we remembered.

My first visit today with my 12 year old son. I had no cash on me just my credit card. They only take cash .......they gave it to him on the house. Wow...I felt bad walking away but what a wonderful experience. Definitely will be going back and lots of tips for these folks. Thank you!

While always busy with a relatively slow moving line, the adjacent park makes it a great family outing. A massive menu and very fair prices makes this a spring and summer favorite. Soft serve, sherbet or shakes all have proven to be delicious from here and with the toppings / mix-ins of your choice, near endless options are possible.

Got my first ice cream here when I lived in Perrysburg and grew up here. Came back to visit family and was able to treat my daughter to this ice cream. Family tradition continues.

Mediocre ice cream. Asked if crunch coat tasted like peanut butter and was told no, its just candy. Actually, it was peanuts with sprinkles.

I came for the free small ice cream cone since Toledo received over 4 inches of snow thru the morning before I also got a banana shake good ice cream

Ordered a peanut butter cup Sunday and was totally disappointed!!!! So it was vanilla icecream with a chocolate and peanut butter sauce on top and that was it! I will never go back! Mel-O-Cream is way way better!!!!!

The cashier was very friendly and recommended a fun-fetti cotton candy shake. I kept putting it the freezer trying to pace myself and save it for the next day. Yet, in a magical way, somehow it would end in my hands every time I passed the kitchen. I give Mr. Freeze 5 stars, but my dogs gave me a 0 star rating for not bringing them home a puppy sundae.

Oh My Goodness!Im an out of town visitor, but Im contemplating going for a nice 1 hour drive for some ice cream.The size of these Sundaes are huge!Its hard to order Id youve never been here. There are signs posted all over the front glass, and Lines extend out the building. So, you gotta look around lol. Jump in line tho, this is a happening spot. We were excited to pull up, find a lucky parking spot, and realize this is one of town gems! Little league uniforms, moms and kidsz, dates, everyone was here.I got the BuckEye Sundae, vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce on top, in between, and with buckeye candies on top.Hubby got the white chocolate something.We got large, paid 9 dollars. (Im use to paying cold stone prices, around $14).We were excited for the price, and excited it lasted me all through our night walk.Dare I say, too much PB, and Im a PB addict.Go, Go, Go.

Not a fan. Ex-pat from Perrysburg raved about it to me when I moved here, but fell short. Upcharge of 1/2 buck if you want a dish (cant eat bread) and cash only. Staff point you to ATM across street if you are short change for the cup. Too half baked, roadside fruit stand mentality for the mainstream.

Every time we are in the area we have to visit Mr. Freeze. My wife loves the vanilla raspberry swirl.

Gorgeous, friendly, and a great compliment to Mr. Freeze. And the bow wow treat is loved by my bulldog.This is always hands down, my favorite place for ice cream!!💖💖
