My husband had his exhaust system replaced on his 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. The work was professionally done and it met my husbands high standards for his car. We will definitely go back to Thrifty Muffler in Peru.

They replaced the muffler on my sons pickup, and replaced the brakes on my pickup (August 2021). Fast, reasonably priced, quality work! I highly recommend Thrifty of Peru.

Price was to high for what they were doing. Cutting a couple mufflers at the back of a car and running 3 foot of pipe and wanting 160.00. I found cheaper at the next place by 50 bucks.

I had a little bit of an exhaust rattle on my 2004 GTO. I pulled up at 4:20 when they closed at 5 and they got it right it. I was out and on my way in less then 15 min. Great people, great service, for a affordable price. Will continue to bring my vehicles there.

He did the work in a reasonable time, for an unreasonable rate considering the initial quote. I had a bolt stuck in the head from the exhaust manifold, other than that it was all taken apart. I had the gasket,and I had the studs. he did end up getting it done the next day.. but the battery was dead when I went to get it, got a jump.... wasnt fixed correctly. I took it home and had my father and husband get into it and find the problem. He didnt use my studs, and the manifold was leaking. Charged 180.The work got partially done, but I wouldnt recommend this place.

I took my car in for a alternator and after work was done i notice at home my oil dip stick was broke off to where i could not even check my oil anymore.So i took the car back and i was treated very rude and basically called a liar to where next time we will have to take a picture of your car before we work on it again.WOW. He did order the new dip stick for me but i never went back to pick it up.Last thing he said to me really got me going he said thats what you get for dealing with the public.WOW. I will never go back there even if the parts and labor was free.I do have feelings here and he cross the line calling me a liar and saying thats what you get for dealing with the public. A simple apology would have been in order not by calling me a liar and telling me that next time i bring a car in Picture of my car will be taken proving if i was a liar or not. Keep there business i do have morals here.Have a good day sir. He can keep the new dip stick and my business.
