Unfortunately they did not really help me to the needs that I needed to be met. The customer service was horrible as well, I would never try to bring down a company but I know if there needs improvement I definitely will voice my opinion every one has the opportunity to grow including this company take care hopefully this is a lesson learned God bless. .P.s did you have any customers of a different ethnicity then Caucasian just out of curiosity for your photos I literally only saw one African-American male out of all those photos not saying anything in specific but I think it would be best for your company if you would expand your horizon for your customer clientele on the photos you select for your sales

I needed my car looked at so they said it would cost 160 diagnosis fee. It came out to be the module for the system of my car around 3 grand to fix it so I decided to sell it and get rid of it. The person on the phone said they dont buy just the whole seller. So I asked them what the cost of the diagnosis they told me that it would cost me around 1,000 because they have to spend 7.5 hrs to follow wires and codes to the cause of the problem. Im out of money no matter what happens. I know if Id had them fix the part and the tuning or check up Id be out of around 4 grand. I think I got con to fill there pockets

I highly recommend Coronet in Peru. They stand behind what they sell and provide excellent service!On a road trip from Michigan to Colorado, our brand new RAM 1500 broke down near their dealership.Even though we purchased in another state, they went out of there way to provide us a solution so our vacation could continue.The service manager Laurie provided consistent updates of the progress on repairing our vehicle.She also followed up to verify that the vehicle got us home safely after picking it up from their service department.

Buyer BEWARE! The vehicles at this lot are grossly overpriced. Consult KBB and NADA for fair market value before wasting your time with this dealership.I recently inquired on a truck that booked for $9,000-$10,000 in perfect condition. The lowest they would go was $12,800. Worse, they didn’t even bother replacing the tires or brakes, merely because they “passed inspection.”In short, they want above top dollar prices for vehicles that are not in top dollar shape. They have 3.9 star rating for a reason.

I most certainly would never take my vehicle into this dealership for repair. My family member did not know the cost of labor or parts. She was given a clear quote. They must be used to screwing people over. Im not leaving anything out so this review is completely transparent. $130 labor rate is outrageous when the area supports 60-90 at the most. Thats taking advantage of people and reiterating well its a dealership they will always charge more. Next is parts. Lol this should not even need explaining but lets try shall we. I hope I have enough room. Water pump, 2.2 hr job according to book. Price for part. 181.00 and some cents. Same part number and price next door at autozone 74.99 in stock probably where they got it. Their labor 361.00. Now comes a part she did not need. A battery. For her 2009 jeep grand cherokee..their price 189.00 hour labor to put it in. 130. Plus around 140 for taxes and shop supplies, epa fee, battery epa fee and covid fee. Basically a little over 1000.00 for 75 dollar water pump and a 84.00 battery. 2 hours labor. This is not an essential business this is a pathetic take advantage of people whom put their trust in you. By the way the car still is not fixed. She took it back they said it was the radiator now. Quote...1000.00 . Its a 200 radiator in stock. Hour job to put it in. This is an outrage . The public should be informed! Their garage was full. Their customers seemed happy. Their customers are sheep!

I absolutely do not recommend going to this dealership. I have had nothing but attitude and issues since Susan from the service department left. I have actually started going to Midas because they return my calls and seem to want my business.

Let me tell you, if you are in the market for a new or used car, dont let the old exterior of the tiny building fool you, these guys are awesome to work with and you will absolutely get a fair deal. We bought a 2013 Buick Enclave, with an extended warranty, that I fell in love with. Recently, a sensor had gone out that was, unfortunately, not covered. Coronet and the Bill Walsh group had the repair done at FAR LESS than it would have cost outright. They really DO care about their customers and that is why I refer everyone I know out there, even if its a far drive.

2nd time working with the guys at Coronet Jeep, and once again an absolutely stellar experience. These guys make it so easy to work with them. The service level and responsiveness is the best in the business. If you are in the market definitely check these guys out - ask for Bill and Mike...theyll take care of you!

We were talked into financing through Chrysler at a high rate for 3 months to get a rebate with the promise they would call us to set up a lower rate after. Now the story changed! I feel completely lied to. We will refinance on our own but will also never purchase a car there again.Our last 4 purchases were through them and 2 of them were new vehicles. Done!

We bought our 2016 F-150 here at coronet dodge. Sales staff is top notch. We had a tire that was leaking air and had some dings and scuffs on the truck they took care of the issues and made the truck look like new again. Thank you again Bill and Shawn.

This was a great experience, got a couple of recalls on my vehicle done. The service staff was great especially Steve great guy, he took care of me and my vehicle. There was another great employee, Laurie she is the Service Manager she was so nice and kind, a great Manager. Laurie is one of the best around in The Illinois Valley, what a great Bill Walsh Dealership to go to for any car maintenance or repair on your vehicle. I am very happy and pleased with the overall service !!

Excellent & refreshing experience dealing with Mike Waite. At every turn he showed his integrity & GREATLY appreciated his straight forward approach. We took a risk driving 4hrs to buy a truck, but couldn’t be happier how everything Mike represented was 100% accurate & honored upon arrival. No bait & switch here, no games with listed price only to find out you don’t qualify for rebates as most other dealers use as a tactic. If I could I would give a negative 5. I buy a new vehicle every two years and I would say this is the worst dealership I have ever been to. We were called and told theres a managers sales special going on. No one knew what we were talking about when we got there. We drove 2 and half hours for nothing. There vehicle was way over priced. Also false advertised on cargurus of what vehicle offered to get price higher. Would barely move on price. Ridiculous

The team at Coronet has always been efficient and friendly. We have purchased our last three vehicles from Coronet and had them all serviced through their Service Dept. Wonderful people and experience.

Bought a used truck there about a year ago. i have put less than 5,00 miles on it since then and i have never had a car/truck with so many issues that Ive had from this dealership. to add salt to the injury they tried to sell it to us with bad breaks, when we asked them to fix it first they said theyd take it out of the total of the car. fine. they let my wife drive almost 3 hrs on bad breaks. wife gets home, hey honey that tire looks a little low oh it was like that there, take it into my tire guy and the tires are bald and a nail is in it. A month later the d/s hub goes out. Fresh today the transmission went out. I wish i could love this truck, but Ive put almost half what i paid for the damn thing back into it. This thing has been a headache since I bought it and i wish i never had. This was just the final straw.

On Thursday 10/12/2017 The radio and climate manual controls on my Chrysler 300 stopped working. I stopped and talked to our salesman Bill Tyler if for some reason we hit something that made this happen. Bill came out and checked it out, found nothing wrong and contacted the service department who brought the car in for service immediately. They ran a test and found that there were issues with the connections. Immediately fixed it and said if it happens again a new part might be required. How can you get better service then that and the team work between sales and service is one of the big reasons I continue to come back to Bill Walsh and Coronet Dodge. Worst experience with buying ANYTHING in my life. Had an appointment to see a jeep at Sierra, a sister store, Coronet originally had the jeep. Get to Sierra and they have a similar jeep but not the right one. Mind you these stores are 20 min apart and they could not bring me the right jeep because they had 2 appointments to see it that same day, one even being from St. Louis, how special! Ha! I had scheduled this appointment to see this specific jeep earlier in the week, they brought the wrong one intentionally I am certain. Since they could not bring me the right jeep I had to then spend my Saturday driving to Peru to Coronet to see the jeep while it was a torrential downpour. Get to Coronet for them to tell me Oh Im sorry we DONT actually HAVE the jeep. We ACCIDENTALLY sent it to auction, its in Morton but we did that on accident we will get it back Monday (this is saturday). They take my name and number and assure me they will call me Monday morning as soon as they get the jeep back to make this right. I am livid but I liked the darn jeep. They claim everyone wants this jeep and it will be hot as soon as they get it back so Ill be lucky to see it. Ha! My salesman from Sierra also came there, and wanted to make the sale himself so he also said he would be calling me first thing Monday to bring me the car even to the town I live. (all of this was so extreme). Anyhow, NO ONE calls me Monday, seriously, NONE of them. I call another Bill Walsh dealer and ask them to look into the jeep for me. Well Sierra calls me after that saying Oh I heard you called another dealer, ya sooooo the car sold at the auction on accident, no one has the jeep. WHAT! So I say, between Saturday at 3pm and Monday at 8am the car sold at an auction???? OKKKKKKK. And sure enough he says no it actually sold on Thursday. WHAT THE HECK! Did this car even exist!? Did they use it as bait? Thinking Im just some dumb girl wouldnt know they brought me a less nicer car to view and maybe Ill buy it instead? What terrible, terrible business. I will NOT do business with Coronet, Sierra Or ANY Bill Walsh dealer. WHAT SHADY SHADY PEOPLE THEY ARE.

We were on our way from Iowa to Michigan when our engine light came on. I searched for a Dodge dealership. Coronet popped up so we drove in. They performed the diagnostics within a 1/2 hour. The worst dealership I’ve ever been to. Seriously over priced vehicles I do my research on multiple sites to check value and they are more worried about making the most money than selling a vehicle. Never did like Bill Walsh, I can buy a vehicle a lot cheaper somewhere else. They have one salesman here that has a personality.

Brought my car in last week to have a recalled airbag fixed. When I picked up my car the dash vents for the ac/heat were not reinstalled and only the left channel of my stereo worked. Obviously the staff is unqualified, do not waste your time going to this dealership!

Had a truck brought over from The Streator store. The rack for the steering was out of it.I pointed it out to the salesman who had driven it there . After they test drove it they finally agreed. Then they tried to low ball me on a trade that was 2 yrs older than the truck but was 30thousand miles under the truck.

My daughter set up an appointment after work to see a specific vehicle. She called to say they are coming and on time. She told the salesman her parents are coming too. He told her someone else is looking at it and it will sell. She was crushed. The salesman said an oppointment is just get you in the door. This is how they do business he said. He stated this is how we make a living. I will not and insist my associates and customers never to buy from a dealer who thinks of only the commission. You hurt my daughter greatly. She has the funds to buy a car and does not need nor expect deceit or ploys to get her money. You need to take pride in your product then it will sell itself. Very dissapointed in this dealership.

One of the worst experiences ever. Car I wanted was 3,500 overpriced by cargurus and Kelly blue blue and according to my bank when I tried to get the loan. Instead of coming down on the price I was told they’d give me 4K to trade my truck in which is worth atleast 6k. I drove an hour and sat there for 5 hours to go home empty handed. Will never recommend or stop by again definitely go down the street to another dealer if you find yourself I this area.

In my opinion 0 stars, my wife and i had seen 3 seperate cars on 3 seperate occasionson the web site. We werent able to get to the dealership due to my wife getting off work later on in the evenings. We had an appointment set up on all occasions and were promised on this 3rd occasion we would be able to test drive the vehicle we were interested in. 10 minutes before we got to the dealership which was a 20 minute drive from our house the manager Ken called and told us some folks came and test drove it and were running numbers to possibly buy the vehicle. Needless to say so much for an appointment and a guarentee from the MANAGER of all people, the car sold to the other couple i can honestly say after being screwed over 3 times we will NOT be doing business with bill walsh EVER again!!!!!

Called for a price and when I was done with the service I was charged more and was told sorry they didnt quote you the full price. Second time, it might be a pattern.

SHADY OUTFIT! I bought a used truck from Coronet of Peru, IL (also known as Bill Walsh) about 2 months ago. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I WOULD NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Unless you want to getting ripped off and have a taste for LEMONS. Theyll greet you all friendly and theyll tell you theve done the full inspections on the vehicle theyre trying to sell. In reality, they spend the least amount of money they can IF ANY to get the vehicles ready to drive. I hadnt even put 1200 miles on my truck since I bought it from BILL WALSH and the piston rod already blew through the engine. I talked to the MANAGER about all of this, he was very ignorant and then of course told me that they werent liable. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID BILL WALSH OR CORONET OF PERU. THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTISTS. The manager then went on sum speal about how long theyve been in business and its very easy to see why. Theyve been screwing people over since theyve opened. Also, they had an employee put my old license plates on my truck before I left and the front license plate fell off on my way home. These guys just cant get anything right. I guess its true that you cant fix stupid...which is exactly how i feel for going to BILL WALSH. I hope this saves someone from being their next victim.
