I was going to go and get my emissions done but there was one no parking and two I didnt see any disability parking and I am disabled. Chances of going back? Pretty much zero.

Stupidly, I completely filled my VW Jetta with gasoline rather than diesel whilst at the Kwik Trip in Waukesha. I called a local tow company to get me to Lake County Auto Care in Pewaukee.The service was amazing. The vehicle was towed at 11am and was repaired by 4:00pm right before they closed. The bill was so reasonable and included the tow fee, a fresh full tank of diesel and the labor. The total bill was $280 which was significantly better than j anticipated for a fuel drain.The fact they immediately set to work to get me back on the road before the weekend was truly appreciated. This is a company that we’re friendly, professional and clearly did a great job for a great price.They called me up before collection and explained what they did and how they were able to fix the problem in the most cost effective way. The receptionist left me a voicemail message too (Amy).I’m sad to have broken down but really happy to have found a good reputable auto shop to do the work. I would definitely use this shop again.

Ok. Super happy to have found this place. Right around the block from my home. I brought my car in for an Emissions Test. No appointment, and they took it right in.Whilst waiting I had the pleasure of speaking with a mechanic and he was so friendly, so helpful. I also spoke with a lovely lady who was waiting for her car, she told me shed been bringing her vehicles here for a long time, and got her whole family to start also.Place was very busy, at 8 in the morning, and I did schedule an appt. to bring in my car for a new customer complete check over. Im actually kind of excited to have a place so close to home, local and professional, that I can bring our vehicles to. Have a feeling well be long time customers. Highly recommend.

These guys did a fantastic job. Full brake job and a new tire for $700. For all those like me who have a problem finding mechanics: THEY WILL INSTALL AFTERMARKET PARTS, they just cannot provide a warranty for anything aftermarket.

Professional educated so friendly courteous awesome place

Ive only been coming here for a few years but have always gotten honest and excellent service on my vehicles. Straightforward advice on what may or may not need to be done and integrity that is seldom found. As an example, recently my wifes car had a sudden braking issue so we brought it in. Not only did they quickly diagnose the issue, they had the integrity and honesty to inform us this is a common problem and had an extended warranty/recall for that part. They then called a local Ford dealer to confirm this issue was covered under the recall and sent me on my way to get it fixed under warranty. A not-so-honest shop could have easily made the repair and charged me for the parts and labor.

I needed some basic maintenance on my car (oil change, tire rotation, new windshield wipers), and they got me in and out in less than 30 minutes. Not only that but they called me about 20 minutes later to tell me they forgot to change out my wiper blades and were extremely apologetic about it. I went back to the shop and as soon as I pulled up they ran outside with my wiper blades. I truly appreciate the honesty. It wouldve been so easy for them to make a few extra bucks by not notifying me of the mistake. Everyone there was very polite and professional, and I will definitely go back for future maintenance and repairs!

They really stand by their work and I highly recommend Lake Country Auto. About one month ago, I used Lake Country Auto Care for the first time. My car would not start when I came out of work. I had the car towed to Lake Country and was told later in the day that it the fuel pump on my Sonata was bad. They replaced the pump. About a week later, my check engine light came on. I called back and told them that the error code indicated a vapor leak. I was told other issues could cause this error code, but I could bring it back in and if there was an issue, they would make it right. As this was my first time using Lake County, I got a second opinion from the dealer I usually used. I was told there was leak around the fuel pump, most likely the o-ring. The dealer also charged me for the diagnosis. I called Lake Country back and told them what the dealer had found. They asked me to bring the car back in. I brought it back in and gave them a copy of the paperwork from my dealer. They did the test and found the leak which they repaired that same day. When I came to pick my car that afternoon I talked with one of the owners and discussed my experience. I was really pleased that she not only listened to me, but also refunded the charge I had paid when I got a second opinion. I have since recommended Lake Country to my co-workers and will not hesitate to bring my car back to Lake Country Auto when it needs work.

Lake Country Auto Care has been the only service center we’ve allowed to work on our vehicles since 2011. From a full engine replacement to routine maintenance, Andy and Amy have always been honest and fair in pricing, upfront about potential upcoming vehicle problems and fast at getting our vehicles back on the road. We drive 30 minutes from home for them to do the work simply because we know the work will be done properly and we won’t be faced with scheduling time for rework.

They got me in to look at a failed home tire rope plug within a half hour of calling. Tires Plus wouldnt touch it and wanted me to buy a full new set of AWD tires to replace my barely used 2017 current ones, but Lake Country patched me up and sent me on my way in minutes. Theyll be my first call for car trouble for now on!

If you are looking for supreme service, this is the place to go!!! This morning, I frantically stopped in with a flat tire. The gentleman who cheerfully greeted me put me at ease, letting me know they would look at it right away and that everything will be okay. He discovered a nail in the tire and repaired it immediately. Best of all, he didnt even charge me for this amazing (and in my mind, HEROIC) service! If they had a negative rating I would give that!!! Took my truck in to have the 4WD unit repaired as it was not shifting into 4WD. Was told the truck was done and as soon as I drove off the lot, it did not work. I immediately went back in to let them know they did NOT fix it and I wanted to speak with someone that evening about it. Evidently, that little tidbit of customer service is not done here as the owner, Andy, laughed at me when I asked the next day why nobody called me the previous evening. The bill for that portion of the work was $299.44. After demanding a refund, which he flat out refused, I was asked to bring it back for them to look at it again. I refused since they had already tried to fix it, told me it was repaired when indeed it was not, along with the unprofessional way I was treated the previous night and that day. Told them I would take my business elsewhere and they would hear from me.It finally got to the point Andy told me, Bring it back in and well put the old parts back in and refund the labor. Really? After several E:Mail exchanges with the BBB, Lake Country offers to reimburse me $200.00 for a repair bill of $299.44 THAT WAS UNNECESSARY. I refused that and would ask anyone in my position if they would accept that solution? Pay $299.44 for parts and labor that were not needed, then when it was proven to them, offer to reimburse me only $200.00 FOR THEIR MISTAKE leaving me on the hook for $100.00.Thats some fine customer service skills there.....

I took my 2002 chevy s-10 to this place to install a new transmission. I only took it here because my father-in-law said they repair his cars, and they were trustworthy. WRONG!! They did install the new transmission to the tune of $2,000, and while they were doing this, they said my upper and lower ball joints were bad. I asked how much that would cost they said $800 for the lower and $500 for the upper. Not knowing anythind about cars, I asked if they could just do the upper, and they said yes. Then billed me another $1,300 for both upper and lower ball joints. I asked again about only the uppers, and the service manager said that was impossible to do just the uppers. This is something I would have had my regualr mechanic do for half that price. They also screwed something up while doing the ball joints and now when I turn my wheels to either side there is a loud thunk noise, which they claimed they could hear or find. Bottom line: these guys will try to scam you out of your money, and they do not stand behind their work.

I am fairly confused reading these reviews. I have been a customer of LCAC for many years, and have come to them for repair on several different cars.I have referred people to their shop for repairs as well. They are usually able to inspect and give me a quote in under a day. I have never had an issue with any of the repairs they have done. I am aware that they may be a little more expensive than other places, according to these reviews,but I have never felt ripped off and always walk away knowing if I did have a problem, they would take care of it. Also, when I look my repairs up on RepairPal or AutoMD, I find that the quoted price usually falls within the online estimate.Still not convinced they are the best overall place to take your car? Well, thats too bad for you, but at least they will be able to get to my car quicker!

Horrible service I went here because my step dad said they were his mechanics and all i needed done was a cylinder misfire code to be turned off and they said that i needed a new fuel pump and fuel filter which have nopthing to do with spark plugs so i say yes do the fuel pump and filter and they charged me 500 dollars in part and another 700 in labor for a fuel pump which i dont think they even replaced because the fuel pump now makes a loud noise evrytime i turn on the car or accelerate and exactly 1 year later just after their warranty expires the whole thing stops working completely total scam artists never take your car to these assholes
