First time eating here. You have to place order at register, cashier was friendly and recommended some items. Food was delicious everyone likes their dish. Price not to bad but $4.99 for a ramen! Sitting area was nice and clean. Would go back to try other items.

I was super duper happy to find this place. They have everything I was craving for. All kinds of noodles and frozen dumplings, etc.You can also order food to take out as well, which is amazing! Here is the menu, reasonable price for Korean food.

Food was delicious and super flavorful. Always love getting fresh groceries and produce from here and treating myself to a cold drink after! I recommend it for anyone looking to experimenting with tasting new foods and changing things up in your kitchen!

Always love coming here!!! They always have new things to try whether its from the cafe for hot food or from the grocery side. Today we tried their spam fried rice and bulgogi rice. They were so delicious!!! And of course we HAD to have some tokpoki and fried dumplings. We were so excited to eat that I forgot to take pictures! I highly recommend for anyone looking for new snacks or foods to try. You wont be disappointed.

Literally my favorite place to go for kimchi and microwaveable rice. I plan out my day, driving from Brownsville to McAllen, just to restock on a few things. Must haves: frozen udon soup kit, kimchi, pack of wooden chopsticks, BTS cold brew, and plum sauce ✨🥲

They re-opened indoor dining from today 11th of July 2021. The food was super yum (we had soft tofu soup and bibimbap) and the portion was big. Price is reasonable and the restaurant manager and staff are friendly. Hope we get to see more menus in the future! Highly recommend!w

The store had food & snacks that I ate during childhood. McAllen has definitely grown and become diverse.

01/05/2020 we went again after had lunch at the same plaza. and its ready for the customers, including deli section. Brand new store very spacious compared to old one, but it is not 100% ready. The cafe is not ready either, wish it will get ready when we visit next time.

Great place to get authentic koren food. Very delicious. Also can find fresh vegetables, snacks, spices, meat, fish, frozen, package koren products.

One of the absolutely best Asian markets around. Quite a bit of variety (not just food, but also beauty supplies, utensils, dishes, and other similar items) and a great place to go shopping. They also have a small cafe area (currently closed due to COVID as far as I know) that sells and makes dishes using products that are in house. You can sometimes purchase specific items in bulk if they are in stock and some specialty items/products for Asian dishes. They have a large freezer selection of premade and raw food for you to take home and cook/taste. There is a small grocery near the front with items that are limited in stock but useful as a part of many Asian dishes. A great little place to find something new and stock up, especially if you are interested in Asian culture. Products are a mixture of asian cultures but most prominent (that I know of at least) are Korean and Japanese with others mixed in.

My daughter and I go here frequently and has great prices and selection of items.

I like Seoul Asian Market because of the variety of products. It is located right of the expressway,next to Papaduauxs in Pharr. They have a vast selection of frozen products, and a good selection of hard to find produce. Also, thete is a limited take- out menu at the register where you can order Asian food to go. You simply order and get it at the pick-up window at the kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful, so if you want to try your hand at cooking something different, or order out something different, this is the place for you.

Cashiers are always the sweetest and when I go its never too busy. Im glad I found out about this place because isnt that many Asian markets in the Valley.

Take it from a Korean from Korea: the food at the cafe here is legit. I was shocked to find this in McAllen. Cant recommend the food enough.

It’s very central(next to Main event & one black away from costco)and a great selection of fresh veggies!!This place has everything you need and plenty of space and the parking is super handy! Absolutely delicious and ready quickly! We got the kimchi fried rice, which was yummy! The bulgogi was definitely our favorite! The pork dumplings are also super yummy! We took to-go and it smelled so good all the way home! Well be back for more deliciousness.

Love this place, the people are always friendly, the food is amazing (the bulgogi 👌🏻perf). All my fav Korean snacks and treats easy accessible and affordable, except they ran of Carbo Samyang noodles and a little part of me died inside.

Went in for the first time today after hearing about it and was not disappointed at all! I actually went back the same day with friends to buy more because i felt like i didnt get enough the first time. Great atmosphere, awesome workers and just over all such a nice vibe. I shop here not only because of the selection, but because of the prices. I am very selective and find the quality of the items I need to be outstanding. One of my favorite places in the valley! Love their selection of different foods and drinks. Suggest trying their banana melon and strawberry milks, topokki, korean pancake mix, ramen, and many many spices to make your food taste amazing. We never get tired of korean food. Plus they have a great selection of hot food. Tonkatsu, bibimbap, and the topokki are amazing.

Deli had food already, adian groceries were more than grand opening, but prices were higher on some items.

They have a lot of different types of sweet treats to try.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. The atmosphere is great. My favorite meal is the Bulgogi. The meat has so much flavor. Greatly seasoned, and safe for those who are not fond of spicy food. The noodles are very good too. I love spicy food, so I ask for extra spicy. The side dishes are all tasty. The building is divided into the eating area and the market so you can enjoy a snack after your meal.

Came to look around after the movies, i was actually full, BUT took one look at the menu and i just couldn’t say no. The pork dumplings were amazing good crisp to them and the filling was very flavorful. My favorite so far from the valley. The rest of our food was delicious and the presentation is so clean and beautiful yet minimalist and contemporary.

They had a great variety of foods;however, they were low on desserts but i think its due to corona. Other than that, i highly recommend:)

Tons of fun things to try and even see. A buddy and I drove over from the other side of the valley to check it out. Well worth a visit every other month if you live far away, (weekly if you live nearby!). Definitely Korean leaning, and not in a bad way! Yes they have rice, soju, korean ramen-but for those of you who dabble in cooking tons of raw frozen ingredients. I could go on but its better if you give them a visit yourself!

Love this place, they have all my asian cravings and the cafe is super cute with delicious food! If youre looking for the spicy noodle sauce, they have it, in regular spicy and 2× spicy too! Lots of nice refreshing drinks too!

First time visiting a Korean place. Wanted to surprise my sister and bring her here, since she’s very much into Korean culture and music. Very pleasant experience. Multiple items in market to try out, even Korean Cheetos! Tried 3 items from Cafe. Love the kid’s fried rice and the bimbimbap. Also had the ramen. Would eat all three again! It was shared among 3 of us, my son included who’s very picky! 💕

The Best Asian Market in South Texas

So glad that this decent Korean market is finally open! I like how this place is very neat and clean. They dont carry complete list of Korean grocery items, but you can find the basic ones.

Great place to shop for Asian food. Selection is great compared to anything around the valley. Any questions are answered quickly by the staff there .since the majority of the labeling on the products are in Asian. Will keep coming back.

I totally LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They have a great variety of things from frozen food, from noodles, pastries, sweet breads and of course drinks. Very economical compared to the other store. Here I can find anything I want for Korean dishes and also the owners are really nice and she sometimes help me if I have a question for my dishes. Across the store the Korean restaurant is like a little heaven to me.. the Grandma is really nice, I go to eat on my free days and its really delicious and it feels Im in Seoul. I totally recommend to go and eat there, clean and lots of side dishes compared to other Korean restaurants.
