Some stores are just perfection and Ella Vanilla may count itself among this group. The store resides in the leafy and serene Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia amongst a quaint little collection of shoppes for discerning tastes. Plenty of cake decorating supplies to choose from and an adorable shoppe pup to greet you at the door. We were specifically looking for edible decorations for a cake and we found a range of well-priced items to choose from with plenty of color variety. Our purchase was kindly wrapped in tissue paper to keep the more delicate floral pieces safe. We will surely be back!

A private class for two was such a great way to spend an anniversary! Noelle was incredibly responsive as she and my boyfriend conversed to plan the details for this class; a surprise to me! She is very knowledgeable in her craft and personable, which made our class not only a learning experience but also an enjoyable time to get to know someone new. I loved that we got to adapt some of her original designs to make the experience our own yet she was there to guide us. All in all I highly recommend spending time with Noelle at Ella Vanilla, and I cant wait to return here in the future.

How convenient is this cute shop!?!? I needed silver dragees to decorate my birthday cake and they had exactly what I wanted! The big box stores did not have silver dragees that were shiny like metal, and the only other way to get what I wanted would be to order online, and I wouldnt have them in time. The ones in stock at Ella Vanilla were stunning! I wanted my cake to look like a piece of jewelry and thats exactly what I got, quickly, with Ella Vanilla! Cant wait to go back!

I stopped into this lovey shop after going to the Philly Flower Show on a Sunday afternoon (close to closing time). The greeting that my daughter and I received was nothing but fantastic. We are from the Scranton area and have not found a store like this in our area. Noelle went out of her way to help us. She let us taste the fondant that she sells, after my daughter showed her dislike for fondant. Noelle took the time to show us some secrets to working with the fondant and let me even try it. I am hoping that the supplies that I got will make my grand-daughters Quinceañera cake come out perfect. Thank you so much for adding to my wonderful Sunday.
