From the second I walked into Mattress Firm here in Philadelphia on Cottman Ave the service I received from Theresa’ was impeccable!!! Her knowledge, her assistance in finding me the perfect bed and the way she made me feel was amazing. The Delivery was on time and smooth. The delivery men was very polite and quick but also very careful. This will for now be my go to for any mattresses for my home as well as my business. Thank you!

Very happy with my last minute trip to this store. I was able to look around without any pressure of buying. And the sales rep that took care of me was so helpful and nice. The mattress I picked was in stock and I was able to take home with me.

The young lady name Teresa seen me the day before and was helping me. I had to leave and I told her I would come back the next day. She told me she would be off but would come in for me. I gave her a time I would be back and she came in on her day off. She went above her personal time to show up. Teresa took time to explain each product I looked at and explained the difference. She was very friendly and helpful no pressure or sale pitch. We even had small talk, and didnt rush me out of store after the sale.

I havent received my mattress yet, it gets delivered tomorrow. Next day delivery is beyond my expectation. Terresa was very knowledgeable and patient with me. Asked lots of questions about my sleep habits while she took notes. Based on the information she accumulated from me, we tried out 3-4 mattresses. When we found the one that felt best she let me lay in it for about 1/2 hour to make sure I had no back pain or issues with it. I could not have been treated any better anywhere. Price was great too but actually price means very little if you make the wrong selection. A good nights sleep for 10 or so years is priceless. Id give her and the store 10 stars, not 5. And lest I forget, you get the 120 day return / exchange guarantee. What more can anyone ask for?

I bought a nectar mattress online and it was too soft for me, then I went to Mattress Firm and bought a extra firm mattress and it was too hard, I waited at least a week but we couldn’t take it so we went to the store again on Cottman ave and I met Teresa and when I tell you she knows her stuff, it’s because she knows. She asked me a lot of questions but at the end I came out of the store so happy and thankfully she was able to exchange my mattress and got us exactly what I needed. Thank you Teresa

On Tuesday May 4, myself and my two cousins visited your cottman ave store around 3:15 in the afternoon. We are all Senior Citizens. Upon entering the store we started looking at the mattresses at the front. I was looking for a full firm mattress. We were the only customers there and finally a young lady approached us. I told her what I was looking for and my price range. She took us to the back of the store and I saw some mattresses that I liked. This young lady was so rude and unprofessional it was like pulling teeth for her to give us information about the mattress, she acted like we were disturbing HER and wasting HER precious time not once looking us in the eye. If it were not for the fact that I really wanted the mattress that day and I seemed to have gotten a good deal I would have taken my business to Big Bob or somewhere else. After finalizing the purchase and heading out we engaged in talking to another young lady who was the complete opposite of the other person. She was polite and engaging and thanked us for coming. Upon hearing this the other person started to act like she should have greeted us when we first came in. The second young lady was great wish we had seen her first. We are all going through some forms of stress but if you dont know how to make a customer comfortable and wanting to patronize your store again then you should not be there . I would not have given her even 1 start but it seems like you cant post if you dont give something.

Teresa Teraysa? I’m sorry if I misspelled her name, but she had the WORST attitude on the phone. I’ve had a horrible experience with Mattress Firm since May — from LATE deliveries to late AND broken deliveries. I’m still waiting on them to deliver a new base because they sent me a broken one (one month ago). I originally spoke to Jason and it seemed like he helped out and he was very patient and friendly. Teraysa was not patient, she was rude. I asked her to please explain what she meant by “no emails from listings” she spoke to me like I was slow and then raised her voice when I asked her if they weren’t going to deliver. Didn’t even ask me for my work order number to check, nothing she offered no help. She wasn’t trying to talk to me. I understand it’s the end of the day, maybe she was tired, I had a long day at work too but that’s your job though, not mine. She didn’t have to give me a nasty attitude when I was expressing concerns over a delivery.Apart from the horrible customer service, I would just like to let everyone know if youre going to buy a mattress DO NOT BUY ONLINE and don’t go to Mattress Firm. They deliver late, they deliver broken bases, and they re deliver MONTHS later. Then you call them and they don’t want to deal with you (like Teraysa) It’s just not worth it.

I bought a new mattress today. My experience was great. My sales person, Earl was very helpful, answered all of my questions and was no pressure at all. When I got the new mattress it was too high for me to easily get on so I called Earl and he recommended a low profile box spring. When the two men delivered it they were so helpful and even vacuumed the rug for me under the bed. I couldnt ask for better customer service. I would highly recommend Mattress Firm to anyone. I had an excellent experience with Earl at this location. I had previously gone to another Mattress Firm (which I will not name) and had difficulty with a promo that the advertising was clearly offering. I went to the one on Cottman Ave and I was assisted with kindness. If I were to go back it would definitely be to this location. Earl even helped bring the items out to my car which I feel is going above and beyond for customer service.

I’m beyond excited with my newly purchase mattress from mattress firm. The guy who helped me inside of the mattress firm on Cottman Avenue name was Jay (Jason), he got me a super cool deal on this really expensive bed that I wasn’t going to even buy because the price was over my budget. So get this...... Mattress Firm was recently having a president’s day sale ! You could get a King size bed for the Queen size price, or a Queen size bed for the twin size price. This particular mattress that Jay helped me buy was originally priced at $1,299, with the sale the bed was $999 (twin size price). Still a little over budget, Jay convinced me how important it was to treat my body to a very good mattress. I had many questions and concerns about my horrible sleep patterns and why I could not get a GOOD night sleep, and after talking to Jay for legit 2 hours plus in his store lol I finally realized that I haven’t had a good mattress after all, and the mattress inside of the store was just what I needed. Long story short Jason got the job done and I’m super excited I didn’t buy a mattress from another store like I began to do before I even made a stop at Mattress Firm.Super fast delivery and I think I just might call off from work to enjoy my bed .THANKS JAY 🥳

He was patient, informative, friendly, attentive and a great listener. I normally don’t trust online reviews; however HE is the truth and real deal. He displayed all the virtues of SERVICE EXCELLENCE and I don’t live in this area; yet it was worth the travel time. I definitely recommend Mattress Firm 2548 Cotton Avenue for your mattress needs.

Sleepys is a total ripoff. They charge up to triple (or more) the prices of the competition, but you cannot compare prices because each retailer has different model numbers for the identical products. Sleepys price guarantee is bogus beyond belief because nobody else sells their exact model numbers. To add insult to injury, Sleepys attaches preposterously high retail prices to everything they sell so they can put it on sale for half price, but even then they are quintupling (or more) their money. I was actually dumb enough to buy a mattress here. It took five months for delivery. So much for their claim that I would get it in a few days. I tried to cancel after waiting two months, but their contract has buried in it a clause that prevents cancellations or returns. To make matters worse, their salesmen work on commission, which can be up to half of the selling price! These sharks will say anything to make a sale, so do not believe them. Go anywhere but Sleepys.

Yo! Got a new mattress from here. I’m sleeping on an actual cloud!We went in a week ago and were warmly greeted by Earl- and not pressured, which was nice.My husband and I were on almost every mattress, asked a bunch of questions, and got knowledgeable answers!We decided on a bed (Sleepy’s Plush Pillow Top) but still wanted to think. And he said, ‘come back when you’re ready, I’ll be here!’And he was. We went back in ready to purchase and he had us out in about 15 min. In addition the mattress was ready for pickup earlier than they said it would be.I must say, we were dreading mattress shopping and this was so seamless. We’re real happy!Fun Fact: We also went to Macy’s, Boscovs, and Bjs. This was by far the best bang for your buck. And our favorite bed we’d tried all day.
