This is a nice little neighborhood grocery store. I wouldnt really come here for grocery essentials unless I wanted a snack or needed some random item in a pinch, but their alcohol selection is great. We really like coming here when we want to find exciting new beers.

They reopened after being closed for over a year. Great selection of wines beer and unique as well as every day needs . Good selection of products from all over the world.Prices are commiserate with other markets in the area

Clean, well stocked corner store with convenient grab and go items esp fresh salads, dessert slices, fruit, cheeses and meats to make up a charcuterie plate, nice selection of beer.

This store has a pretty decent selection considering the footprint. You can get stuff like japanese curry boxes and daifuku mochi. Fun to browse. I only stopped in to pick up a couple cans of cider to try but Ill be back in case I need to pickup anything small. The staff seemed friendly and the store was clean and well organized so no complaints here.

Love this little grocery store. Staff is super friendly. Awesome selection of healthy snacks, great deals on berries (I love me some blueberries!) & the only place I know of within 2 miles you can get a six pack for under $7.

My favorite corner shop in the neighborhood. Alsways clean and well stocked. Love that they have tables to eat and drink at while studying or meeting up with a friend.

Typical little mini-supermarket, with limited selection and high prices. Youre paying for the convenience, but its great when you run out of milk, eggs or some other staple. Not a place for the big grocery buying trip, but they have a nice selection of domestic and imported beer, so much that it takes up a third of the floor space. It would have rated a 4, but the high prices take it down a notch for this reviewer.

Corner market opened late on a Sunday which was hard to find in Philly and very much appreciated. We were hunting down wine/beer and were happy to fall into this place. Parking is street but wasnt too hard to find.

This is a market that has its customers in mind. Great, friendly staff. Good selection of quality packaged products and the produce is top notch. I suggested they stock a product that they werent currently carrying and a few days later there it was on the shelf. As the other reviews say, best beer selection around. Very glad to have stumbled across this place.

Good Food and exceptional service by our server Danielle. Had Seafood Alfredo platter and it was awesome. Wife had crabcakes and enjoyed them. Parking sucks so give yourself time. Definitely be back sometime to enjoy test of area.

Great little place for picking up a few grocery items. Produce is very reasonably priced, and they seem to carry most major items. They also do a beer of the month for $10 so check the facebook page to see what is in stock.

A quaint, old fashioned styled convenience food (including fresh fruit) and extremely well stocked beer store with tables for a brew or snack. Immaculately clean and well organized and you can even find some bargains there if you hit it right, although the prices tend to be in line with the super high Center City stores with which it completes. Open til midnight with helpful staff.

Great local grocery and beer store. Their bottle assortment is awesome, you can build your own 4 or 6 pack, and they have some basic 6s ready to go. The grocery selection here is very nice, but a bit limited. Sometimes its hit or miss if theyll have something basic Im looking for (but they always have a swanky alternative). My only complaint is that because of the fancy selections, its a little pricey. Which is kind of to be expected in the Rittenhouse neighborhood.

Its a cute shop. Beer/cider/sour selection is great. They even had some lambics, and frambroise. Prices were reasonable, around 1/4 of what I paid in a few bars nearby. I cant speak for the rest off the store, but the other items looked good. I think Alcohol & Snacks is a better name for the place. But no one asked me.

I am an out of towner who loves beer. The beer selection here is amazing, possibly better than at my favorite bottle shop in NYC. I wanted to get some local beers, so I picked up a few of Yards Revolution Ales and a Monks Flemish Sour Ale. But they also had tons of great American and Belgian craft beers.

Pretty good selection of odds and ends, so-so pricing. But the beer selection and pricing is top notch for the area. Surprisingly high quality fresh produce for such a small selection.

Beer selection and pricing is certainly the strongest point of Food and Friends, as well as the late opening hours on some days. The veggies sometimes looks a bit tired and there isnt always a huge selection. Prices are high, but unfortunately average for the area; overall, a good place to shop but perhaps too expensive to source all your groceries from. Would recommend stopping in for beer, friendly staff atmosphere, and maybe picking up something else on your way in!

I feel like Food and Friends has way more reasonable prices for beer compared to The Foodery (although they have less of a selection). I think Ill be going out of my way to get beer here from now on.

The prices are high, but on par with Center City. Food and Friends stands out because it offers pre-made food like wraps and sandwiches in addition to single beers. If youve had a rough day at work and want to unwind on your own, this is the place. The staff is very kind. I apologize for knocking the star off, but its a matter of price only. I would recommend going here for the pre-made foods, not the packaged groceries.
