Its the perfect place to try out new beers and also snag some of the limited release brews throughout the year. Their selection of wine and bubbly is good too and the perfect place to pick up a bottle of wine when youre on your way to that new trendy BYOB. The staff is welcoming and very helpful and more so during COVID the delivery folks have been THE BEST EVER!!! And whenever I order, the delivery is here in a flash. Thank you!

This place rules. I used to come here occasionally when visiting friends near Passyunk, and I always had a great experience in store, but honestly their delivery service is why Im leaving a five star review. Since going into quarantine March 2020, Ive gotten beer delivered from here A LOT, and every single interaction weve had from placing orders on the site, to receiving personalized phone calls when something was out of stock, all the way down to consistently on time delivery, has been phenomenal. Im so happy to be able to support a local business during these times, but honestly the service makes it a no-brainer.

Good assortment of beer singles, but very few six packs. Prices were really high, almost double what I’ve seen for some bottles elsewhere. I appreciate anywhere that allows dogs though. Interesting small wine selection as well.

A lovely place! Great selection of local and seasonal beers. Recently, theyve started selling wine. They have a modest, but strong selection of wine at different price points, perfect for the BYOBs that surround them. I also love the cider and occasional mead(!) that they carry. Small but well curated draft selection. Pet friendly as well.

Was charged delivery ($3.50) for a pick up, tipped, a 6 pack turned from $13.50 to $20.The rude woman refused to even address this or offer guidance how to pick up without being charged for delivery.Really gouging local patrons during a crisis when we have so few options.Ill opt to avoid this place and the attitude of the staff.First time there, last time there.

I really like this place and I dont even drink alcohol! Everyone else does I know and the staff here is so helpful when Im trying to pick up beer for them. The back room is nice to sit in and sometimes they sell these really great jars of pickles. Its my go to holiday shop for my family.

Love this place. The selection is decent. Staff is helpful. For those who dont understand the Draconian liquor laws of PA, you can only get beer and wine here. The beer selection far surpasses the wine but if its vino youre after you should be able to find something adequate if youre heading to one of the neighborhood BYOs.

The staff here is as good as their selection! I called over on the release day of a fairly rare beer from Founders. To my surprise, they actually had it in stock! The bigger surprise was when the cashier offered to set one aside for me. I came in after work and it was still there. I left a very happy customer!

Great bottle shop and more. The have a few taps inside where you can stay and drink or get growlers to go; they even have 1qt growlers for a smaller to go size. I love grabbing a mini growler in the summer for the various street fairs on The Ave in the spring/summer. Lots of brewery sample events. Get some brews to stay and play board games or watch some TV, just like home, but with a few hundred beers to choose from.

Decent selection overall and theyre appropriately priced for the neighborhood. I do wish they had more 6 or 12-pack selections. The single bottle make your own 6-pack option is over-priced and makes up most of the shelf-space. Itd be nice to just go in and buy a couple whole 6-packs for regular pricing.

The Bottle Shop is small but they most likely have exactly what you need. They have two rows of refrigerated alcoholic beverages, and its a wide selection. They have everything from micro brews to wines and whatever else. In the front they have a bar where you can get the latest craft brew straight from the tap. In the back theres a seating area where you can sit with your newly bought beers and play board games with your friends. Great location right on Passyunk Ave

I LOVE The Bottle Shop! The staff is so friendly, helpful,and down-to-earth. They have a great selection of beers divided by east coast, west coast, and local. You can make your own 6 pack and get 10% off each bottle or even grab a bottle out of the case and drink it right there. They have a draft system of 4 rotating beers with happy hour M-F. This is my #1 spot to find new, good beers and to use my level up!

An entire hallway of a broad selection of single bottles and take out six packs. Really love the fact it has an entire section of ciders and bottled mixed cocktails, for gluten intolerant/celiacs. No frills walk up counter to pay for your selection and seat yourself tables, making it easy to stop in for one or a few, day or night! Two outdoor cafe tables available with tall open windows at front for summer days. I believe its a $5 min for cards.

I have been going to The Bottle Shop since they first opened many years ago. They have a great selection of beers and wine, some nice brews on tap, and the staff is really cool and helpful. This is a favorite place of mine to grab a beer and just chill for drinks and meeting some very nice people that come in. Im a customer for life!

The best bottle shop I have been to in Philly. The beers are organized in a way that makes sense and clearly priced. They also offer 3 beers on tap. You can take you beer to go or enjoy it in the shop and they will provide a glass. The selection is excellent and they take levelup.

Staff was friendly, but when I went to get a growler filled, staff only filled it 3/4 full. If youre going to charge this much for beer, at least fill the growler full! Based on this, youre better off going somewhere thatll give you a decent amount of product for the price.

I do love this place. It is nearby, everyone is friendly, great selection, and they even let me bring in my dog! My only complaint is the crowding. It is SLIM and sometimes smells like dirty humans in the back where it gets even more crowded and loud at the tables.

Delightful place to have a beer in situ or pick out a single or six pack of your own choosing of specialty beers. Some standard six-packs (Amstel, Michelob, etc) also available. Dog friendly as many of the shops on the Avenue. Great hours.
