Got two tattoos from here of Apollo and Athena from Eric Guntor. Both were awesome experiences and turned out great. Eric helped work through my struggle to articulate what I wanted and put a lot of thought into the pieces to incorporate the elements I wanted. He was happy chatting to pass the time when I wanted and was happy when I preferred to stay quiet. The shop made sure the whole experience was comfortable and inviting. The banter between the artists kept me entertained as well. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Everyone is friendly and sincere.

Visited Philadelphia a few weeks ago and was tattooed here for the first time by Eric - very welcoming environment and friendly staff! The tattoo artist was very patient in working with me to help come up with a design that I loved and definitely helped me feel less nervous for my first tattoo. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo :)

We came here for the Miss Rachels x Floating World flash tattoo event and I think we just found our new tattoo spot! From the moment we walked in the door it was high energy. I know sometimes tattoo shops can feel a little intimidating but not this place. The staff hyped us up and made us feel so welcomed. My partner worked with Eric for a partying crispy tofu and I worked with Rev for a cute little green pear. Eric was a great conversationalist and Rev had the most gentle touch even with me getting tattooed in such a sensitive spot. They had great ideas and we totally let them do their thing with the coloring. I can tell the people here take a lot of pride in their job!!On top of all this, they worked hard to created a safe covid conscious environment for their clients. 10/10 will be coming back to this business!

I had two sessions here with Brian DiCola on a large chest piece. The studio is clean, Brian is fantastic and never once made me feel uncomfortable (despite having my bitties out). He works fast, does great work taking client ideas and making something awesome, and is incredibly nice! I highly recommend him and this studio.

This is a Saylor appreciation post. I had my nose pierced from 15-23 and then took it out for a job. Years later, I wanted to get a new piercing and researched a few different options. Ultimately I went with Saylor and I’m so glad I did. His scheduling system and incredibly thorough emails before you even walk in are wonderful. Once there, he walked me through the steps. He even took measures to cut down my healing time when it meant a cheaper process. When your piecing is done, he sets you up with cleaning solution and talks you through coming back for follow up. From start to finish- he is a true professional.

Brian DiCola was the most professional and accommodating tattoo artist I have ever been to. I went to get a tattoo and as soon as he started my blood sugar dropped causing me to pass out unexpectedly. He took incredible care of me, instantly running down the street to get orange juice for me to drink. After I felt better he continued the tattoo, stopping periodically to make sure I was still doing okay. Not only was the tattoo impeccable but the service was as well. I would definitely recommend getting tattooed by Brian.

Saylor was incredible. I was really nervous, as this was my first piercing, and he made me feel completely at ease. He walked me through the entire process, asked me a few times if I consented to it, really explained the aftercare, and took my phone calls after the piercing when I had questions about keeping it clean.I recommend Saylor to anyone who is new to piercings or the area. Cant wait to get my next one here.

Def a great experience for me. Got a medium sized tatt. It did not hurt a bit, tattooist was very gentle and soft handed with me without me even having to ask him. And my tattoo is very neat, I will be back for more work in the near future

I wanted to get the tops of both of my ears pierced and other shops told me no but when I came to Floating the artists were welcoming and awesome. Saylor (my piercer) made the process simple and easy and I’m SO happy with my piercings! I’ve gone back to buy jewelry just because of the way they made me feel.

I went in to get nipple piercings. The woman at the front desk was very nice & informative about the service I was getting done. My piercer Saylor was absolutely amazing! He made my experience almost painless & his personality is wonderful. I highly recommend Saylor if anyone is interested in a piercing.

I went in just to get an earring put back into my cartilage piercing because I couldn’t do it myself (special type of earring). And the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and attitudinal. I asked for a time estimate and she said 30-40 minutes. At the 30 minute mark, I asked how much time might be left and she said it could be a couple minutes, five minutes, ten minutes or fifteen minutes. She had terrible customer service. When 15 minutes was up, I asked to check-in and she became very rude with me because I had come to ask again. I ended up leaving and was very disappointed with the customer service.

I, highly recommend this place!! I had a great experience, and everyone is so nice. My artist name is Jordan, and he is the best!! I will never go to a different artist. I get compliments everyday about his work!! If you are looking then stop because this place is awesome!!

My friend and I are visiting Philly and decided to get tattoos tonight. This was the perfect place because not only were we able to just walk in, but it was a first time for both of us and they were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable! I’ve never been treated so badly by a business, I called 5 minutes earlier and then when I walked up they denied services very rudely, it wasn’t about getting denied it was the way they went about it. so rude so inconsiderate.

Got a piece done by Eric that I really like. It was a bit pricier than I was anticipating, but honestly it was worth it. Very chill vibes across the shop, Eric is super talented, and everything was crazy sanitary. I’ll be back for sure.

Rev was such a pleasure to work with! We went to get matching tattoos last night called and told them we are 5 minutes away. when we showed up the lady was very rude and was like can you go hangout on somebody elses steps. We replied we are here for our tattoos and she was like we are closed. It was 9 pm but she told me they close at 10.

I got my first color tattoo here by Cassie. The shop was really welcoming and calm beautiful artwork everywhere plus they were playing the office in the waiting area. Cassie was accommodating and patient with me through the entire tattoo taking extra time to make sure I was comfortable.

Really love all the body Jewlery I have in my face from Saylor at Floating World Tattoos. Don is a great tattooer and funny guy. This tattoo studio is ceiling to floor a work of art and I mean that. What a beautiful floor. I know thats sort of a crazy thing to say but the tattoo shop has a custom painted floor that alone is worth seeing.

I got a foot coverup tattoo by Kristel Oreto yesterday, and let me tell you... I could NOT be more happy! This is by far my best tattoo, by a landslide. It’s not only a gorgeous piece, but the previous tattoo is literally GONE! Even my husband is in disbelief- he couldn’t spot my old tattoo at all! Kristel is truly gifted- fantastic line work and the color is beautifully saturated. I can’t wait to go back for my rib and sleeve! I’m so happy and proud to wear this thing for life! She’s given me my confidence back, for the first time in 10 years I’m looking forward to wearing flip flops this summer without feeling self conscious. Aside from Kristel’s obvious talent artistically, she made me feel SO comfortable which to me is just as important as the tattoo itself. I genuinely had a great time talking with her. She’s pretty bomb all around and I could not recommend her more for your tattoo needs.I also had the opportunity to talk with several other staff members, everyone was so awesome, kind and welcoming. The piercer Saylor was super sweet and helpful!
