Goes without saying, would not go here if you want common goods without Drexel on them. Pretty good(pricy) stuff for a campus bookstore. But there are better bookstores around
$20 for two notebooks and its cheaper on their online store, but charges an $8 shipping fee. This store is disgustingly price gouged. Get your supplies elsewhere.Ive gone here a few times and the experience was always awful. Wont be coming back.
They never answer their phones. Very unprofessional. Ill go somewhere else.
We can buy all Drexel customized items here.
NiceCleanProfessional
Expensive like all campus book stores
The customer Service here is amazing. If your a student I recommend ordering your books ahead of time to pick up. Tons of products to represent and have some school spirit! #godragons You could honestly spend a good hour in the store just looking through the products. Best advice is to wait for the holiday season to stock up on gear when they do their sales.
Nice place to buy all of your Drexel University accessories and apparel. The store is a little small, but it has everything you need and the prices are good too with good service. Overall, nice store catering to the needs of the Drexel community.
They had White-Out! Who needs White-Out any more? They did not have Drexel Alumni ball caps, they directed me to online, none there either. I live in the neighborhood, Alumni gear is a good conversation starter.
The employees were very friendly and helpful! The bookstore is not as large as I expected, but we found everything we needed (except one item) during move-in weekend. Overall, the selection was good, and it was very refreshing that the manager and employees were so nice.
Absolutely unacceptable that this is the university bookstore and it cannot get texts in time for a term. I ordered a week and a half before the start of a term, selected Buy Used and was informed that if a used version was unavailable, then I will be sent and charged the difference for a new. I figured, great. Its now going on Week 4 and my text has not arrived for pick-up. This is the university sanctioned bookstore... they have one job!? Absolutely unacceptable.
Dont buy your books here, they are most likely way cheaper through the publisher or through amazon. I live overseas, so sometimes I am forced to use the bookstore as they are one of the only people willing to ship to me. I bought a used copy of Social Problems by Joel Best for 40 dollars from them(not including shipping), which is only 10 dollars on amazon. I also bought a QT device for 73 dollars because it was listed as required for my course, but I never used it and couldnt get a refund because I was overseas.
Good selection of Drexel merchandise but expensive
The Penn bookstore treats me better and I dont even go there
A great place to visit, it has short, but good history explaining the dragon symbol and the colors of the flag. Its rated as 50k college, but you can grt finantial aid and pay about 30k. A good place to visit.
So not only did the university not have any caps and gowns in my size for the commencement ceremony, but they cant even assure me that Ill be able to get any tickets for my loved ones to come and actually see the ceremony in question. So what in the world did I just buy from them? Air? Because Im looking in this bag right now, and all I see are broken promises and a tassel for a cap I dont have.
Its so nice to find all the magical and beautiful things at Barnes and with Drexel image on them...plus many other beautiful stuff!!❤
Everythings pricey but they have almost any took you need for school so its convenient
This location looks like your normal Barnes and Nobles University store. Its sparse compared to you average B&N, but has all the best sellers and other amenities Drexel students will need for classes. Does not have cafe.
Amazing -- prepare for a Renoir overload!
Checkout staff can be rude, however staff in charge of the textbook section are helpful. Most things are overpriced and you can get them much cheaper at the CVS a few blocks away (except for spirit wear which is also expensive)
Buy your books on Amazon avoid this place !
The store is clean and well stocked but they keep it warm. As well, the prices are sky high.
This is dedicated to Drexel. Very helpful staff
Stuff here are a bit pricey but they do have nice items and good books.
Alumni and this store is cute. Needs a magnetic Drexel alumni label for vehicles, NOT STICKERS
Best store to shop for Drexel Merchandise and all the Drexel required books and other stationery.
Most things tend to be cheaper in the Drexel store such as bags/ apparel. Has a welcoming feel and a wonderful customer service, that will often give you advice and help you out to the maximum of their ability.
Its a good place to get drexel merch and supplies for classes.
College book store prices with a captured market (i.e. students); if this model is replicated nationally it might just save brick and mortar retail outlets for new books!
Very helpful staff but many books cheaper online
Overpriced, but its a school bookstore so of course. Decent selection for just browsing, but dont come here if youre looking for a specific book (unless its for a class)
I liked it but there were no salespeople about in the store
Always has what I need. Cashier extremely helpful last trip.
Neat appaeral selection and very clean store.
Many great apparel choices.
Prices are a little high but the quality of the products makes up for it
Good deals on clothes generally a few weeks after the quarter started
This is Drexel Universitys bookstore. You can find text books as well as Drexel University t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and other Drexel University related items. Conveniently located.
Terrible store. Buy online. They ripped me off hundreds! I needed a physics textbooks h.w and they sold it to me for 200$ (not hard copy, online)where it was 27$ on the damn physics website. Then Chem lab manual for 121 I bought the first one at a different store for 9$, they wanted 50$. Bullshit store, only a last resort, otherwise please just look at all your options first!!!!And their quality service sucks!!! The people arent that nice either and sometimes they dont have the book you need
They really seem to not know whats going on. Im not talking about the regular store workers but the supervisors and managers. Went there on 3 separate occasions in Dec/Jan trying to get a lab access card, each time they said they didnt have any and the third time they said they were not getting any in so I bought it direct. My professor goes there 3 weeks later and they said that they have them in and no one has been in to inquire about them (CAN U SAY LIARS). They never have any digital copies of books required for any courses. I recently found out Kindle has an App for any PC and phone. Get the books from Amazon, much cheaper and they have digital copies which are better than a web based version that the bookstore tries to pawn off on you.
Great variety of supplies and Drexel spirit wear. The staff was kind and very helpful.
I recently purchased an open product. I tried to return it but was denied because the sales associate thought I was lying. She basically called me a liar in front of the whole store. I was racially profiled. The sales associates figured because I am African American, I was trying to get over on her. She said she could do nothing about me purchasing an open product. I will never shop here again.
Nice store on Drexal university campus.
One of the most disorganized money grabbing things about Drexel is this bookstore. Most prices are astronomically high and sell back rates make renting not even worth the thought. They often run out of essential text during week 3 and force the student to pay in advance for a special order, in my case, five out of 8 times they canceled my special order for no reason. Please in the name of everything holy buy your books for cheap online do not waste your time in the Drexel B&N
Very poor book selection. It seemed to function more as a school supply store and Drexel gift shop, which is fine in its own right, but calling it a Barnes & Noble feels a bit deceiving.
The store has a bigger selection than what is available online, but they are pricey. However, they have good clearance sales usually.
Good spot for drexel gear although its a little pricey.
Never go to this bookstore.I dont think Im a particularly mean or unreasonable person, but you can think what you want from my story:For my Computer Science 164 class, I had to buy Computer Science Principles and More. This book is a combination of three different books and is only available for my particular class at Drexel University, and you can only buy this book at this particular bookstore. That makes the resale price almost nothing because I can now only sell it to freshman at Drexel who are taking this class and looking for cheaper book options (regardless of the fact that Drexel tells you there are no other ways to buy it except their bookstore). That would be okay, except this book costs $230. And even that is okay, because the bookstore cant control that, and it is chalk full of necessary information for my class.Heres where my dissatisfaction comes in: I pre-ordered this book Thursday the 25th, and I was told the book would arrive on the following Tuesday (the 30th). I came in Tuesday, I was told it would come in Wednesday, I came in Thursday, I was told it would come in Friday, and then I came in on Friday (today).Dont get your hopes up, the book wasnt there today either, but they did let me know it would arrive Monday. I brought up my situation to them and they did nothing. Here is the basic problem:My product was (is) delivered late, that was bad service. They claimed that they had no control over when the publisher would ship or deliver the book(s), just like Amazon. To which I informed them that Amazon guarantees delivery by a specific hour and day. The Barnes and Noble at Drexel could do a number of things to stop this including a reduced pay to the delivery service for late books (which most delivery companies do). Regardless of whether they could stop this or not, this was the fault of Barnes and Noble at Drexel and they should not have excuses. In the end, my product that I bought from this store was late, and I dont care why. Thats bad service.Drexel runs on a quarter system, with each quarter being 10 weeks. That means that now my book is 10% less valuable than they advertised it to be. Thats false advertising.I think this warrants some discount or gift card or something, but after informing the staff of my situation and displeasure I left with nothing. I thought I was very nice and not overly aggressive, but perhaps I should have been or needed to be in order to get some compensation. Now I have to borrow a friends book to do the homework and hopefully I dont have to borrow it again next week if my book still doesnt show up.
Nice, clean, organized store with friendly staff.
Very nice place. I felt that the prices were a tad on the higher side.
Very helpful in helping me find and pick up books for classes.
Charge at an insane premium compared to most online retailers. Good stock however.
Its a Barnes and Noble with Drexel stuff
Super expensive, and you have to make sure to go at obscure times to avoid crowds around Family weekend and other events.
They have all the textbooks, but they dont have many other books. They also arent helpful there.
School supplies are overpriced and the hours of operation arent as long as they should be. The bookstore should absolutely be open on weekends for longer than 12-4 on Saturday.
Hit or Miss with the Bookstore- takes multiple calls to get through and not as convenient for online students -for example, not having caps and gowns to order online you have to call but all the staff I have ever interacted with have been friendly....not sure if this is a Barnes & Noble or Drexel issue, but wish it was more accessible/better hours/better prices/better online selection etc.
A lot stuff required for college is available just a tad bit expensive
Friendly staff, good Drexel merchandise
I love a good bookstore
Nice place friendly people
Staff are friendly. Good store.
Not a lot of selection. Go to the University of Pennsylvanias bookstore if you want a wide selection.
Decent selection on Drexel apparel and gear
Its overpriced for the Drexel branding. Dont buy textbooks here unless you really need to.
Very nice staff
Very small selection of regular books.
Its a nice little store.
I hope they change the tshirt quality
It was so expensive!
Got my Super Bowl shirt here Lets Go birds
Great great company
Customer service is definitely lacking
Drexel bookstore. Expanded food and room options along with all the school gear and books youll need.
Its OK. Expensive but the staff is usually helpful.
Nice & clean
Will never rent or buy from here again. The staff in not ready to help unless you create a scene or call your parents.
Too pricey to call it a stationary store
Typical college B&N
Nice place, expensive prices. Typical B&N
A place to found memory
Great staff!
Cool
Drexel swag!
Lots of stuff
Great employees
Typical college bookstore.
