Omg I cant stress enough how cool this spot is.....My daughter found some amazing clothing that we probably cant find anywhere else. The staff was super friendly and items were very unique.

I’ve never been here. I saw a flash of the storefront on an episode of parking wars from 2008 and just had to look it up because it looked so cool. So glad this place this exists. Must come visit one day. Very slc.

I buy stuff from here at least twice a month! It’s one of my favorite places to go down to on south street! Really friendly staff when I first went in there Rob (I think that’s his name) helped me get the cuff I wanted and it was such a good experience I kept going back honestly I really love this store! Also, I got one of my favorite posters from here!

Amazing clothes and service!

There are not too many places like this that I know of that are still around. I remember when South St. was loaded with stores similar to this one. They have what I would consider kinda punk rock, Im not sure if thats what the younger generations call it. I have been coming here for a few years for different reasons(mostly bright color hair dyes in the past). Recently I went there because my 13yr old daughter wanted a pair of boots(DocMartin style combat boots). Unfortunately they did not have her size but they did have the style she was looking for as well as lots of other stuff she is into like the platform boots, tee shirts, belts, etc. My 16yr old son even asked to try on one of their rings so they have stuff for men too. (Some stuff is unisex.) If u check this place out make sure u check out the little 2nd hand section in the back of the store! And the woman that works there (I am guessing is the owner)is cool & very down to earth. Much more than I can say for the dude that was hanging around in there who was quite rude - Im not really sure if he works there or if he was jst hanging out but that really doesnt matter - there is no need to be rude unless you wanna chase business away. (But he is not always in there when I go) Im sure I will be going back again because my daughter & I do like the store.

Very cool store. Great selection of t-shirts and other accessories. The owner was super nice and spent time making sure we found everything that we were looking for. If you are into the music scene this place is worth a visit.

This is one of my favorite little stores in Philly. Its pretty punk and has a lot of cool clothing. I have bought little things here and a pair of leather pants that were too cool to let go. I would highly recommend going here if you like little unique stores.

Wonderful shop! Went in just to check it out. They have a great selection of pins, studded leather ANYTHING, boots, shirts, etc. Stephanie is one of the most genuine people you will meet on South Street. Great experience.

Really good alternative clothing. Youll find brands like demonia shoes,sourpuss clothing, killstar, etc. Wall of band shirts including goth which I appreciated. Pretty affordable considering the brands. Great and knowledgeable staff. Will be visiting when I come back to Philly

In a word. . .lousy. Clerk told me to be quick about trying on all seven or so of the garments I wanted to try on and after going in the fitting room and subsequently deciding I lost interest given that coarse attitude, returned all items to their respective racks and started out the door. Clerk browbeat and bullied me into returning all those items to him personally EVEN THOUGH I ONLY CAME IN WITH A TINY PURSE THAT I COULDNT POSSIBLY FIT THOSE ITEMS IF I HAD WANTED TO WALK OUT WITH THEM. Only reason I went back and went through the racks to find and give him all those items was that he would probably have called the cops on me if I hadnt given how he acted toward me. God, this place sucks! Felt more like the Inquisition than a shopping spree. Treated me like a child and when I stood up for myself and told him not to yell at or interrupt me, he said he would shout louder if he had to. Said he was being rude and he just said he was very polite. Bald faced lie. Last time Id been to Philly I shopped here when it was Zipperhead and was very pleased with the staff and my purchase. Today, walked out without buying anything, sarcastically wished the clerk a nice day and he replied he would. I said good because you just lost a customer. Didnt appear to give a hoot in hell in that regard. Well glad to not give them the satisfaction of getting my money then.

This place used to be the world-famous Zipperhead (you know like from the song?) but when the store moved from South Street to 4th Street a few years ago, they changed the name.Its a great place to shop for clothes and shoes, buy some stickers, get some colorful hair dye, or nab some pins or studs to decorate your existing gear.No self-respecting punk rocker, mod, or metal head should go through life without stopping by to say hi to Rob and Stef at least once.Steal some cash from your moms purse and head on over!

Love this cute little store! I stood there and talk to Stephanie forever as if we were old friends! She was great! Very helpful and friendly, there are so many great things in this store I absolutely love it!!!

I love the people who work there. Walking in there brings me back to what south street was like back in the 80s and 90s. I buy all my punk tees from them.

Cool little punk store thats been around for quite awhile. Four stars for great staff and some neat items, but at the end of the day it doesnt REALLY stand out from other punk boutiques across the country.

The owners Stefanie & Rob are awesome.Also they also promote & sometimes sell or give out tickets to bands that are playing in the. Philadelphia area. There is even a consignment section which is a must to check out. There is the coolest selection of boots & shoes & accessories for guys & gals. The decore is done by the owners & their DISPLAY window is incredible, especially during the major holidays, Halloween & Christmas, a must see. This is the perfect punk rock & rock & roll boutique to shop for yourself or that special someone. This store is a MUST see in person. You can order online but I recommend if you havent yet, come in & meet Stefanie & Rob. Support your local small business & purchase something that is unique & a great find! This place is great, I had an awesome experience. My goal was to buy a dead milkmen shirt they had several to choose from. Employees treated me great.

Very bad initial experience. Purchased a skirt online as a gift. When the person opened it, there was a tear in the back. I emailed the account to get the issue resolved. I was assured that I must have done the damage individually as many quality checkpoints are in place. I was asked to send a picture, but was out of town at the time. I then got emailed again stating that I was outside the window for return. All communications were condescending and rude. Very bad customer service. Would not recommend spending my money here, because if you get a sub par product you just get blamed for it.

Formerly known as Zipperhead, this store has been around since I was a little punk! The owners, Rob and Stephanie, are the greatest people on earth! Always friendly and helpful. They really take care of their customers. Theyve got the coolest t-shirts, fun clothing, shoes, hair dye, patches, jewelry....everything to complete your punk rock needs, from baby punk (yes! onesies and little leather jacket!) to grandpa punk (cuz thats how old we all are now). So start your child out right with a punk onesie and pick up a cool Circle Jerks, Ramones or Dead Milkmen t-shirt for Pop-pop!

Nice staff, small but good selection, information on bands playing in town, and right off of South St. I love going in just to hangout and get clothes.
