Ooh, is this place cute! Theyve incorporated a minimalist Japanese aesthetic into the look of the shop and all the things they sell fit the feel. Lots of kitschy books, stationery, water bottles, baby gifts; think fun gifts for your millennial girlfriends. Nice staff.

Really ‘liked’ this cute little store and shopped often with my children. Last visit I was RUDELY told that I’d have to leave as I’d been in the store for more than 10 mins (new policy). I then hurried to the counter with my purchase. I mentioned that there was a more appropriate way to express their store policy and that if it weren’t for my child wanting the items I’d have walked out. The manager... Jo... spoke aggressively, loudly and over me and told me that they have plenty of customers and if I wanted to walk out without my purchase I should! Never in my life have I been treated so rudely nor would I ever go back!

Its a cute little shop but the employees were friendly and helpful. They helped me pick out a present and gift-wrapped it beautifully. Although theres limited selection, they made picking a gift so much faster and easier than other places. Id definitely go again if I were searching for stationary related gift.

I always look forward to going to this store: most merch is incomprehensibly cute, other items are extremely practical, and some are both useful and adorable. The staff always helps me wrap my purchases in a way that makes the gift-receiver squeal with delight.

I lived in Japan for 10 years and this place is my nostalgia fix. They have the cutest Japanese goods. I come here when I am in need of stationary and stickers. Love love love them. The staff is also super friendly.

I love that they carry authentic Japanese products, both cute and traditional. I don’t think there’s anywhere else in the city where you can buy Japanese fashion and design magazines and they’re hard to buy online, so this is a good place to go if you’re looking for that! I’ll be back the next time I need to buy a gift, everything seems high quality and is aesthetically pleasing!

The level of customer service I received was better than I expected. It was also no coincidence that one of the staff members was at the cafe I was visiting. Unbeknownst to her, Omoi Zakka Shop was the next stop on my itinerary for that day. I found pens that I needed, a beautiful Birthday card for a lovely friend, a stylish, functional AND reasonably-priced tote bag, and there were so many other items of interest to readers and writers. Also, this store allows in-store shopping, all staff members were wearing masks and there is a big bottle of Suave brand hand sanitizer by the door which had a nice, light scent and did not feel yucky. I look forward to returning to this store when I return to Philadelphia.

Theyre the only place in many miles that have high quality stationery. The owners and workers are all passionate about stationery and are very knowledgeable. Do not go in expecting you wont want anything. You will. Theyve also got a meet up going for Travelers notebooks!

This place seems to operate their customer service from a place of scarcity versus from a place of abundance. I was testing out a pen by drawing a flower and was told by one of the workers there to stop. It felt unwelcoming.

After a trip to Tokyo a few years ago, I am always on the hunt for a legitimate zakka (misc. goods) store in the vein of Muji or Tokyu Hands in the US. Omoi Zakka is a solid, albeit small, version of that in Philadelphia. I love it. I purchase many gifts here for others as well as many for myself because they carry such an eclectic mix of Japanese products. Dont ever change!

Quaint location tucked away in Rittenhouse where you can browse various stationary supplies. Great place to take a date to if youre in the area and have some time to kill.
