Very good coffee and food, just wish they were open on Monday’s and opened earlier than 8am the rest of the days.

This place is a great little neighborhood café. Good coffee, with really great specialty drinks including one of the best pumpkin spice lattes Ive ever had, delicious breakfast sandwiches, super friendly staff, and amazing decor inside full of cool collectibles and art done by the owner. Theres also a small area for outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

I wish I discovered this spot sooner! I tried the cold brew & Popeye Sandwich and both were fantastic! The owner is unapologetically geeky with the decor and its absolutely phenomenal. With art, Star Wars memorabilia, and an authentic feel sprinkled over every inch, coupled with the friendly employees, it feels like walking into an old friends house. Be sure to check out some of the art thats for sale, and if youre feeling brave try the King Kong coffee!

I frequent this place. Love the character and atmosphere. Interesting art that’s always changing. Easy to chat with the people behind the counter, unless it first thing in the morning, bc then aren’t we all just trying to wake up? Always friendly though. We chose this place for breakfast and enjoyed a great and cozy atmosphere. The sandwiches were superb, super delicious and we were full until dinner. Definitely a go-to-place!

A cool little coffee shop right near a park. Good coffee and great decor. I visited here from out of town with my kids. The owners gave us a great tip on a nearby playground.

Idk the name of the sandwich, but the joint is so quaint & intimate that it’s on deck every time I’ve returned! (Kensington Inferno!?!?) It’s both God awful HOT & DELICIOUS every time, but not for the feint of heart.Chef/Owner/Artist/Father Laragione is a fabulous host, so don’t ruin this joint for me. Enjoy the food, the atmosphere, & if you’re feeling froggy purchase an antique toy/collectible or one of HIS original paintings that cover every inch this incredible gem of a cafe.

Environment is so comfortable and laid-back.The memorabilia of yesteryear is pleasing to the eye and mind.The staff is super friendly and accommodating.Then theres Jeff... Cricket cricket😉

Best breakfast sandwiches in Philadelphia!

Made a lunch reservation on Opentable the night before! We ordered a pizza and pasta to share, and still had two pieces of pizza leftover afterwards! The pasta was good but extremelllyyyy rich with the burrata and sauce; the pizza was also wood fired (quite charred in a good way) and rich, so maybe order a light appetizer and entree to split!

Great coffee shop-- you have to try the iced jefe (packs a punch but tastes like the best coffee ice cream youve ever had!) They also have an impressive asst of breakfast and lunch options, all flavorful, well made and affordable! Highly recommend, just one block over from Berks station so it makes it really convenient for grab and go 👍👍

This place has a cool atmosphere. Lots of art and toys everywhere, i think it doubles as a daycare?there are usually a few kids running around. The guys there are usually nice, 1 more so than the other. I am not sure if there is a sink there, but I have never seen anyone wash their hands. Even after smoking a cigarette or handling gloves. Not sure if they have gloves there either. Pastries are really good. They also sell old toys

Very nice decoration, Popeye sandwhich tasted great. However we also ordered a bagel, the cashier didnt toast it and she put a little bit of cream cheese. Cashier wasnt friendly at all, we felt uncomfortable to ask any questions. When I left I said thank you and she didnt even respond. I dont expect workers to be very friendly but at least have common manners.

Wonderfully decorated cafe with art in various forms, much created by the owner himself, who has always been there when I’ve walked in, greeting, serving, and conversing with guests. Menu has a wide array of selections for all tastes, and serving La Colombe coffee rounds out the best features in my opinion. Try the Popeye! Great breakfast sandwich.

Most Tasty Huevos Rancheros Wrap. Unique style and relaxing place.

You can sit between to a life size Han Solo in carbonite and a life size Popeye painting. Need I say more?I mean, if I were going to say more, Id say the food is delicious, the coffee excellent, and the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty.But mostly its Han.

Perfect place to work/study with a good food / drink menu. Lots of seating including outdoor and upstairs, plenty of power outlets, friendly baristas, good prices. Their hot chocolate is especially delicious. I would come here all the time if they stayed open later.

Super friendly cafe with strong coffee and great lunch options. I had an amazingly fresh lunch sandwich and espresso at this spot to get me through the day.

A great spot in the neighborhood that always has some yummy bites inside. Sandwiches are yummy and their baked goods hit the spot. There arent many spots west of Front St in the neighborhood like this.

Wonderful art, great service, wifi, and goof food. Two floors of seating. Upstairs theres enough seats to sit a large group together.

I came in for the first time last week. The girl at the counter seemed more interested in talking to her friend than helping me out. When I asked for the WiFi password she seemed annoyed so I left.

On par pricing for what youd expect at a coffee shop. Good food, good service, nice atmosphere.
