Such terrible business practice! I called to make an appointment, while on the phone I provided my vision insurance to them and was told that my insurance would cover everything. The day of my appointment (Monday), I saw the doctor, when done she told me to go pick out my frames. I proceeded to pick out my frames and was told that I have to pay $400 for them. Again, I double checked my insurance before wasting my time coming! So I decided to just get my prescription and go elsewhere for my glasses.When I got home, I received a voicemail from the doctor saying that I didnt complete my eye exam. Not sure how if I got my prescription and what terrible communication from the doctor, staff and especially between themselves if the guy up front didnt even know that I needed to complete my exam, if I even needed to get anything else done. Lost confidence in them at this point.But the next day (Tuesday) I called to tell them I can come in and the same guy from up front told me that they were closed and to call back Friday. Yet, he answered the phone? Which got me curious, so I checked online and it says they are opened Tuesdays and are closed on Wednesdays. Friday comes around, I call and the same guy answered and hung up on me.Word of advice, they will do and say anything to get you in, try to rip you off and provide terrible customer service. Bitter much that we didnt fall for your cheap tricks? Went elsewhere and got my new glasses (same as they had there), covered under insurance and didnt have to pay a red cent. Terrible business practice!
Avoid! Called to schedule appointment. Was told if Im not getting glasses from them and pay cash for the glasses they will not schedule my appointment. I said, I only need my eyes checked and will get my glasses somewhere else. Was told by a very rude male with an accent that he will not schedule appointment for me and he is very busy. Guess what buddy??? Im taking my business somewhere else. Already have appointment with different place. I would advise people to stay away from this place unless you like being treated in a very unprofessional way.
Not sure what happen to staff but same doctor anwers everytime . N they dont tske any insurance that they used to . N want to charge $45 for visit . I dunno seems weird

The best people ever, so nice and friendly, help me pick out great frames, I take my kids there also and they love it too.will go back to this king eye associates for all my families needs
Got my grandson who is 18 months old checked at CHOP and found out he needed glasses. went to atleast 7 different places for miraflex glasses. was told by a few that if not a patient we cant help you and others we dont carry his size but no other help given. King Eye Assoc. was my last stop, so frustrated because he needs them .. the girls that helped me in here were great with him and helped me get what i needed for him. I am so thankful for them. great staff. Thanks so much will give them all my business.
Had a great time last year. I have no complaints. I am taking my kids to get a checkup in a few weeks. the only problem I had was they ha some guy offering me all kind of stuff to go with my glasses. I was like dude just give me my glasses so I can go home, please.lol

I hav comin here for 4 or 5 years to start the reason is my wife knos the owner although thy never speak only in passing. For as many years as I hav been coming I have an issue i.e. the lens didnt get the correct prescription, the free frame were thin pcs of metal, the staff pushes you to the most expensive frames great sale peeps, they offer no financial help they even charge you the difference of $18.00 when the insurance is paying them $270.00 for the frame give us a break already, or the best is my 20% discount I get thru insurance was added back on as a misc office fee, ...LOL. I can deal wit all that simply bcuz I WAS to lazy to go somewhere else. That has changed! There is a level of public service you have to offer in a field like this, your not selling someone a sofa. Your selling people the ability to see better, to be more confidence with the disability they have in a world that is cruel to people with disabilities. To just sell a person a pair of glasses because they are expensive and you made more commission is Cruel, bad business, shameful, and a disservice to the consumer that now has to walk around with glasses that are so obviously wrong for their face. Of course as everyone reading this post could/would imagine there is NOTHING anyone can do to help my daughter she choose them...understood! But when a parent is telling a child they dont look good what place does the sales person have to add their 2 cents and say they look fine, since my daughter is unhappy with the way they look maybe the sales person should come over and tell her they look fine now. The reason for the post was to vent and to inform anyone looking for an eye doctor to really consider your options after the first incident. It took my wife having to send her child to school with the old glass she cant see properly with to school incase people start to make fun of her, to then decide to go some place else. Not the 4 difference times King eyes ordered my wife the wrong prescription on her contacts, but selling our daughter a pair of frames that where not the right fit. The idiots here are us for going back, King Eyes was just doing their job and in most case lack there of. Im not posting a pic of my daughter bcuz I would not shame her anymore... take this post for what it is, a vent, a warning if you have a problem the first time, move on there are plenty of other places willing and able to take your money.
They accepted an order for my sons glasses, and after 2 weeks I didnt hear back from them, so I called to follow-up. Thats when they informed me that they dont take my prescription! So if I wouldnt have called, I would have never known, and now my son has to wait even longer for his glasses because I have to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional!

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel today. She did a thorough evaluation, very friendly and polite, and asked about my career and where Im from (its probably very obvious Im not from the East Coast, my origins are in Tx) This is the best experience Ive ever had with an eye doctor and I will continue going here for me and my childrens eye care. Nasty customer service. I came here a few months ago to purchase glasses from them and I had no issues. A few months later a screw came out of my glasses and a arm came off and when I finally called to see about getting my glasses fixed I was told that I can come back in. However when I came back in the associate Dana was very nasty and sarcastic. I paid $50 for my lenses because they told me that I had to and now they’re telling me they can’t put the arm on my glasses and when I tried to explain to her that I paid money for these glasses she states “actually you didn’t because your insurance paid for it” to which I had to explain to her and who do you think paid for the insurance, I had to pay for my lenses and I had to pay a copay. If people don’t want to come to work then they shouldn’t. It’s not right that just because you aren’t making money at the current moment from a customer you take that as a indicator to be rude, nasty and argumentative with customers. I will NEVER come back here again!!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! WANT TO GIVE A 0 STAR RATING! First, I had to wait over 90 minutes past my appointment time to be seen which made it to late in the day after my exam to pick glasses so I had to make a return appointment for glasses. When I went back, although I had an appointment, I had to wait more than an hour to be assisted with picking glasses yet again while watching person after person come in and be seen as I waited. Then the person who was supposed to be assisting me offered no information other than eyeglass pricing. As she completed my order I glanced at her computer screen and noticed my prescription was incorrect. I mentioned the error and explained Id memorized my new prescription. The doctor whod examined me came out and swore shed correctly recorded my prescription which I of course disputed. I was taken in for another exam and my correct prescription was confirmed and the doctor apologized. The apology was appreciated but knowing my script was screwed up left me very distrustful and my family hungry since my 30 minute eyeglass selection appointment had now taken more than 2 hours causing dinner to be delayed at home. I was told my glasses would arrive after approximately 7 days and Id be contacted. On day 10 I decided to call and check on my glasses to find theyd already arrived 5 days prior and theyd just forgotten to call me. The glasses are cheap plastic frames that costed me over $200 and I regret the purchase every time I put them on. When I went to pickup my glasses I overheard an employee explaining to a customer whod paid extra for special scratch coating that the scratch on her glasses that were 3 months old was not covered for repair. A week later I chose Americas Best on Roosevelt Blvd for my son and he got 2 pairs plus his exam for under $80. He was seen on time at his appointment time and got his glasses in 3 days because they actually called me for pickup. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO KINGS OPTICAL!!

The worst place to go, and also make sure the glasses they are selling are original ....just a heads up THEY DONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK EVEN IF THEIR IS NO SIGN STATING NO REFUND,,,THEY LOST THREE PATIENT MY HUSBAND SON AND I.Glasses were said to be ray ban when they weren’t, the manger came out and made a whole show out there and I told him I was going to report it to the police he said he didn’t care to leave $225.00 down the drain.
