Company is great at selling but then come the sub contractors who don’t work for the company. Laser template measurements are extremely inaccurate. Installers just want to get in and out fast to get paid being they are sub contractors. Final product is inaccurate and not what was requested. I have purchased granite many times before and this company is the worst... took them 4 visits to get a rectangular countertop done and its not the way it should be. Gaps between walls and many workmanship defects.

Open on Sunday lots of options and great customer service.

Just had my granite countertop installed. Got lots of compliments! Very satisfied as a perfectionist like me. The saleswoman, Rita is very knowledgeable and patient. She gave me great suggestions. The customer service team especially Briana is prompt and friendly. Thanks for making my beautiful kitchen become true!

Stopped into Cavas beautiful showrooms on Washington Ave and was so blown away by their customer service that I immediately called them when building my new home. Their service, products and craftsmanship are top notch and I couldn’t imagine ever finding a company I’d refer more than Cava (I only had granite done).

We had our bathroom vanity redone by this company and we were very pleased. they have a great selection and the cost is affordable!

Customer service sucks, my husband ask for them to call King of Prussia store to see if they had the tile in question in stock, they told him they would not call, he had to call and ask. Oh but wait they were willing to order it for him. Called King of Prussia store and got excellence assistance both times. They were taken back that the store in South Philly would not extend courtesy to potential customer.

Very big selection in a clean and organized environment, with very friendly and helpful staff. And prices are pretty competitive with others. My wife and I end up coming back here often.

Varied selection of marble and granite products with good customer service.

I don’t even recommend walking into this place, the whole set up is beautiful don’t get me wrong, but they suck as a business. They didn’t greet me what so ever. I walked to the front and there was only one person working and she didn’t even say a word. I assumed she was busy, so I walked around twice passing the same lady at the front desk, it didn’t take long for me to noticed that she was just completely rude. Places like this does not deserve my business!

I was very impressed when I First walked in the showroom and quickly found something I liked. evrything was on track until a few days before installation the sales person called to say that since I was financing the job they could not give me the discount given when I signed the contract and that this was an oversight on their part. They had a complete unwillingness to work with me on another option and I ended up canceling the order. They seemed great at the start but surely showed the true side of how they do business....horrible.

If youre looking to buy new granite counter tops, I highly recommend Colonial Cava Marble and Granite. I really had a great experience working with Jewely my Design Consultant who helped me pick out the perfect granite slab for my kitchen counter tops. Thanks Jewely !!!

Awesome place for any home owner and builder...

Horrible experience. Have been trying to get my counter top for weeks now. The did the wrong cuts for my shower first. Then when they brought the counter top out they cut it for the wrong sinks. At that point they said they need to cut new granite again so it will be out the following Friday. On the day before they were suppose to bring out the new granite, once again they call me and say there is a problem. How the problem is that they are not sure the template for the counter top is correct so they need to remeasure. I offered to help them out and verify the measurement when I got home from work. They said they will have some one call me at 8:30 to walk me through the information that they need. No one called. I am currently still without my counter top. I have called and wrote emails to management to try to get someone to help me out, but no one has returned emails or calls. Do not use this company, they do not care about customers.

Currently in the process of having botched job countertops installed. The first piece wasn’t cut to size correctly, so they “trimmed” it outside my house. Now it is installed and the corner isn’t flush. The installer suggested we fill the gap with grout!In addition, they cut my other piece in half, creating a seam, without telling me, but letting me know that it’s their policy to make those decisions if they see fit. When I ordered the countertops, my one and only request was a single piece. I refused the pieces, and was told they would re-cut the stone if I preferred. Then Briana called me to say that they cut it because they can’t transport a single piece that long, and we have to accept it. A lie, as I’ve had much larger countertops installed from Philly Home Supply (right across the street, btw) without hassle and for much less money.I was hesitant to try this place, but the contractors we work with on our houses told me they had a good reputation. I’m really regretting this purchase. The only good part of the experience was my salesperson, Rita, who was incredibly professional and helpful. Anyway, Colonial refuses to make things right, so go somewhere else that cares about doing their jobs correctly.UPDATE: After nonstop arguing with Briana, I was connected with a guy named Matt in upper management who was much more reasonable to deal with and proposed a solution that works for both of us. This was the first time any solution was proposed to me, and it’s all I was after. I’ll round out this update once again after the work is fully completed.

I needed to stone face the front of my house but didnt know exactly what I wanted.I went to cava and with the help of the associate,I found what I needed and my project was a success. THANK YOU CAVA ASSOCIATES

I wish I could give zero stars. The company is impossible to deal with after they get your credit card. They damaged several things during our install (the countertop itself, our walls, our moulding, the mirror), tried to force us to pay for a backsplash we didnt want or order, and then jerked me around trying to get them to come out to see what they did. Im still waiting on a technician 4 hours after my window. Be prepared to put up a heck of a fight if its not right the first time. Nice piece of stone, to be fair.

Overall pretty disappointing. Youd think out of all the shoddy South Philly places Cava and the money they spend with the showroom and just the name alone would have their act together.Sales process:First we met with Angleo whos probably been there 30 years. Very knowledgeable and has decent taste. We really couldnt decide exactly what we wanted. We spent about 30min or so with him and when we didnt but at the end he seemed pretty over us....Said he would call when he found more information for us and never followed up. We came back in 1 or 2 more times and he basically ignored us.We made another appt with Mararite and she was fantastic. Help our baby for us, super helpful and we would up buying about 300sqft of tile from her.Follow Through.So they never called to say the tile was in after we called several times to follow up. They get no tracking number, no information. nothing. You basically have to get lucky and call when its there. I come over to pickup a full skid of tile. They tell me the forklift guy isnt here - So Angelo watches me hail about 1,000 lbs of tile by myself into my jeep.We call 2 weeks later.... we over ordered tile but still dont have enough - We order another box of tile. No tracking. No information. Nothing. Back to calling in every other day to hope my tile comes in.I cant wait to carry it to my car again, really excited!

Surprisingly good prices and value!

I wandered into this store on 6/11/2016 in search of bathroom tile. They have a very beautiful showroom with lots of design options! We were immediately greeted upon entering & someone assisted us within a few minutes. I had an idea of what I wanted already and the sales associate, Rita, showed me porcelain & marble tile that matched my preference at different price points. She was very knowledgeable about the tile and took her time with us. I made selections for my tub surround & floor & she gave me a break down of pricing based on my contractors measurements. Rita wasnt able to get a price for one of the items & said shed call me early the following with the price. I did shop around at a couple of other stores to compare prices. One store didnt have what I wanted & the other had a very nice show room, but werent very courteous. I went back to Colonial Cava on 6/16/2016 to place my order. Rita, who had helped me before, was there & remembered me. She had my paperwork sitting in front of her & was just about to call me with updated prices! Based on my experience, customer service is a priority for Colonial Cava. Rita took time to get to know me & we really connected which made me feel like she we were old family friends. I placed my order and cannot wait to get my tile & have it installed. As a new homeowner, this was a very positive experience & I could not have asked for more.
