Took my reefer for a fuel leak on an fuel line they took 5 hours finally replace the line and change me over over $300 I head to towards the pick up and the unit would not start I called the same company for service the come after check and replacing the filter the guy finally found the problem the line that the previous technician change was not properly connect to the motor and the charge another $600 for they own incompetence. Worst carrier service
Excellent service! After 3 shops they were the only ones that figured out my electric problem and got my truck fixed and got me back on the road asap! Theyll be my goto place if Im ever in the area again!!!

Dropped in on Wednesday morning to have my APU looked at. Checked in around 8 and had to wait until 12:30 as they had some emergency road calls to handle but once I got in it was handled and fixed in under 90 mins. They were up front and honest about things and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. They are 159 a hour for shop which I think is too high but that is the standard rate in most places. Staff was courteous. Driver lounge okay. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back and use them again.
I own eight dump trucks from GMC pick ups up to two Mack trucks all with Allison transmissions, I do all services on site and on schedule. Never had a Allison transmission in for repairs or service, however when I had any questions or needed any computer updates for my fleet Bill Mahon always goes over and above the call of duty. Bill has always been a pleasure to deal with on the phone and in person.
Love this place i always go here anytime i have a reefer problem and i live in nyc only complaint is the tv remote in the driver didnt work lol.
Never used Penn before. Had a 60 series that was acting up. Called around. Alot of places were 2 weeks out to even look at it. Penn said bring it in, we can look at it in a day or two. Needed a new head. Had a crack vavle . Needless to say. I was very impressed with Penn. Bob Cheever in service was great to deal with. Answered all questions and also kept in great communication during repairs. Penn is my new go too for my trucks with detroits. They are alittle far for me. But well worth passing the other shops to go there.

They have a good stock for Carrier trailers parts. All filters, hoses, pipes, fittings and etc.
Needed reefer fixed to complete my deliveries. They fulfilled what company wanted.
Great service, quick service, very knowledgeable technicians and out of 6 shops they were the only people who solved a mysterious issue with my truck that lasted for almost 2 years! From now on, I will only go to a Penn Detroit station! Btw, shame on Freightliner! They may make decent trucks but their service departments are terrible... Nothing new though, right. Big props to Bedford/Altoona Penn Detroit Diesel! Thanks so much guys!
Was referred by good friend take my truck to penn power what a mistake Un believable amount of money for warranty work and service after the initial drop off was terrible won’t tell anyone take their vehicle there
They were running up a huge diagnostic billAnd misdiagnosed the problem which in essence cost me 600 dollars for nothing
Worst Carrier dealer ever!!! Night shift people want to get rid of you so they can finish their night with no work. Rolled in there at 10:30 pm, reefer stalled (ended up air in fuel, gauge was off showing fuel level. Fixed it my self) Parts guy told me they have no mechanics. He said wait till midnight and then call emergency line so they can send a tech. I told him if you dont have a mechanic during normal hours where he will get him at night, after hours. Must be bad managment and lazy workers!

They took such a long time, the problem is still there still got bubles in the coolent reservoir, and it developed some kinda weird sound besides all that they cracked my bottom step, and saying it was like that not sure what’s to do

Place is terrible, they quoted me 1800 dollars on a 4 day job, 3 weeks later no call from them at all, I call them and ask whats up and they havent even started working on my truck, another week goes by and they say I owe them 3 grand and if I dont pick up my truck right away I will have to pay storage fees, these guys are crooks take your business elsewhere.
Service is awful wont pick up emergency phone .no accountability do what they want with no idea what there customer needs may be and dont really think they care
