Stood at customer service for over 15 minutes. Asked if i could get cigarettes from someone at self checkout. Was blown off and told, its after 8. So that means the sign is a lie. And as usual, customer service is miserable here. I live just off oakford and here regularly, it sucks. Only game in town though.

This has got to be the worst store I come here at least 3 times a week spend a lot of money a month but today will be my last day most but not all the workers are so rude every time I think he or she just had a bad day and I let it go but can’t take it anymore.. I will go out of my way to food shop somewhere else from now on. You guys lost a great customer.

Expansive store. They have a vast variety of ethnic foods. Hours of operation are good. They offer lottery options. Self-check-out is available. Check your weekly flier for coupons and sales. I would hope that they are able to get some assistance in the deli, as they only had one worker cutting lunch meats. They have a new cold section in the cheese/cottage cheese/butter area. Our clerk was friendly, funny and quick. Thank you!

I find that fresh grocers on Grace ferry avenue the customer service is very good. Their products are good. And everyone tries to help you. I would recommend shopping at this location

Shoprite used to be my go-to store but not anymore. I just recently started shopping at Fresh Grocer and I love it. The shelves are always clean & well stocked. Everything is fresh and I love the fact that they have a buffet. Everything looked tasty. I didnt try anything this time but I will next time.

Its better than others. I prefer to go first thing in the a.m. Its not overly crowded and you really get to shop. The cashiers are always friendly and nice. They are clean and well organized.

I work on delivery, I picked up the goods today. who gives the goods a mixed order. on this I lost an hour and returned the goods to the store. due to the girls negligence. and she didnt even apologize. what kind of service ???

This market is amazing it smell so good when u walk in always clean never have a problem getting what I need... I only had one bad experience there I brought a 15 pack of paper towels and the cashier had a 12 pack behind the register she scan her paper towels on my receipt didnt notice til I got clear back across town... Call the store the and they told me to bring back receipt and the would refund never made but its cool guess the was my good deed my she really needed them...

Started going here instead of Shoprite because they have TWO BINS of avocados and when they stock fresh ones, old ones are moved to the front bin!!! Amazing!!! Now I can always find a ripe avocado and don’t have to leave them on my counter for days. Also can’t get ripe pineapples at shoprite but they have them here. 10/10 recommend!

I have visited the sites in North Philly and West Philly. Most recently I visited the South Philly site off of Grays Ferry. It was a quick trip and I would visit again.I like it amwhen I can get in and out of a place quickly.

Place is super sanitary with a wide selection of fresh food and hygiene supplies. It lives up to its name.

The only person that will help you in thr hot food department is the manager the staff will look you in your face and not say a word.When did the cashiers not help with putting your stuff in bags.Thats bad customer service if I must say so.

The cooked food is soooo good but the vegetables taste like water. They still get 5 stars because all u have to do is add a lil salt, pepper, and garlic. 🤷🏾‍♀️😁

Fresh Grocer is a good place to shop. This is not the best market. The prices are mid range. The store is very well staffed. The lines are never long. The meats & produce are good too. Overall you will be pleased with this market.

Its clean cool and refreshing on the inside . I love the fruit and vegetable section of the store . Because every time I come in, they are putting out fresh fruits and vegetables, the employees are very helpful, and I feel as though the cashiers are efficient on getting you in and out .

This is the store I prefer even though there are others in my area. The parking is great and there is a Post Office near by. The store had all the items I was looking for and is a good source of vegetarian options as well as fresh produce. One thing I did suggest was that they put up a sign to show where the crackers are since that was where they also kept the rice cakes which I had a hard time finding.

Always clean and fresh did some remodeling in the food section in the liquor takeout all is very good please keep up the good job oh a lot of the sale items out of stock especially meat

When I was living in Graysferry, the place reminded me of the one by my old house in Drexel Hill, DelCo. Same owner as well, Im sure.

Good selections, lines arent too long. Shelves are pretty well stocked.

No long checkout lines and I can get things here that I cant at other Fresh Grocers.

Started shopping there in 2020 because I heard good things . Well its always best to go on your own experiences. Last month April 2021 was my 5th time going shopping there and each time the grapes, cutie oranges, melons were bad. And some of the vegetables. Couldnt tell until you got to the bottom of the bag. Things happen but I dont think this should be happening at a well known grocery chain or anywhere for that matter. Anyone else had similar experiences?

Just a great staff, great prices and cleanI WENT THERE TODAY5 members of the Philadelphia Fire Department were in the store all over without masks 2/7/21 approximately 9:15am I spoke the Managers asking if there was a mask only policy they said yes. My mom with me asked them, were allowed... There response was they difficulty that customers that are asked to put them on they are endangered. THE STORE HAS SECURITY. This Ridiculous. NOW. I will not mention my race nor the race of the managers nor the PFD. Now you know. RULES APPLY TO EVERYONE.

Love this place, it was nice and clean and the staff was so nice.

I shop at another Fresh Grocer, but this one was more convenient to me on this particular day. The store is immaculate and brightly lit. I used self check out so I didnt have any interaction with staff. No line and this was late on a Saturday morning.

Uber drivers take note: clean restrooms easy to find near enterance. Decent food court also convenient to enterance.

Excellent customer service by all staff. Very good variety of seafood. Store very clean and bright, especially produce section. Opened up all checkout lanes on day before snow storm so customers were able to shop and quickly check out.

This is one of those hidden gems. If you go inside the supermarket and head towards the cold cut area. You would see a sandwich spot right next to it. This place makes the best sandwiches for the price. Youre walking out of there with a huge sandwich for 10 bucks (depending on the type of meat you get). Ive even had a 12-in sandwich for $8 by picking ham. So when it comes to the price. You really do get more than you pay for. They add A LOT OF MEAT! So if youre not into too much meat in your sandwich. This place is NOT for you. I love this place!!

Very helpful! Ive been eating of there Chinese cuisine served by Chinese associates and it has been a pretty authentic experience for what I expect from Chinese-American cuisine, excuse me. The prices even vary and can be beneficial.

Very unprofessional staff workers stating because they are the only one in the area theyre not doing anything. When I inquired about getting help in that area the customer service desk was aware of the issue and very nonchalant about its response.

Each time I have shopped in this market since my first review has been better. Staff is helpful, store is well stocked, well taken care of and I love the deli & food court. I also thought the wine center was a nice touch and I dont even drink. Staff person was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Also well stocked with sales items too. Bakery is nice too, but get there early, alot of the favourites go fast. All in all, good place to do yoyr food shopping. Hope you find it the same.

Really wanted to like this store but the hot food servers, except for some of older ones,are rude and ignorant.Shame because I usually order alot for my household but i know how to take my money elsewhere. To the young,tall,slim server with the bad attitude,seek another job,preferably behind a computer. No one forced you to major in hamburger 101.You need to take your bad attitude and bounce. Plus you need to stop touching your mask and grab a food container. Have the nerve to have an attitude when someone call you on it. Shopped at the West philly location,employees more professional. I rather go out of my way then to deal with those miserable people at the Grays Ferry location.

I wont be back until post-pandemic, if at all. Correct mask wearing (PLEASE cover your nose) was bad among patrons but I cant blame them; it was even worse among staff. That experience convinced me I should switch to online order pickup only to find you have to come in and wait at customer service while they get it, and then half my items were out of stock. No eggs in the entire store? Uh huh. Inventory and prices were generally pretty good in-person though.

I have tried most of the Fresh Grocers in the city, this one is my favorite. The employees are nice, fast, and helpful. The selection is also really good. even though it is not the closest grocery store to me, I always try to make time to get to this one

The most affordable option in the neighborhood with a good selection. International items are a bit light.

Came in Fresh Grocer Grays Ferry on Sept 7, 2021 To buy chicken and it was $14.99 for Perdue The same chicken at Walmart for $8.99 there prices here are ridiculously high.

Whenever I travel to home to Philly a stop for a hoagie is a most. Amorousa rolls are the bomb.. I get a hoagie a bag of rolls and I can make at least 2 or 3 sandwiches from my hoagie. I can find all the Drake cakes like devil dogs mmmm. They have very good prices on veggies and fruits. Make this one of your stops you will be glad you did.

Easy to navigate....never too crowded

This was my 1st time at this location since Covid-19 became an everyday topic of discussion. Plenty of parking and carts lined up outside; not sure if they had been wiped down, but I normally travel with gloves, hand sanitizer and wipes. The inside was well-lit, looked cleaned, nothing blocking you from going up & down the aisles. The shelves appeared to be well stocked and I was able to find all items on my list ($150 worth). The Cashier was friendly and actually took the lead on bagging my groceries. I say this because it has been my experience that once the customer tries to help with bagging, the Cashier would normally stops bagging. Also had to go to the Deli for a hoagie, protocol was followed and the staff behind the counter, from what I could see & hear as I waited my turn, seem to be polite to the customerd. Anyway, I had a pleasant experience.

The sandwich department was very slow took almost 30 minutes to make 1 sandwich and half of the check out lines were closed

I usually stop here for quick items and the beer garden section. Decent selection of wine, usually not too crowded which I like, store seems fairly clean and they are usually stocked for the most part

This market has a great selection of cheese and ready made salads, (my favorite is the chicken or egg salad). The store is clean and service is good.

The hot home cooked foods is the best Customer service is excellent and the fish greens and mashed potatoes yum good taste like you cooking at home excellent service

Although they offer great prices on staple items, they never honor the discount price and you don’t find out until you get home and check your receipt. It’s happened to me well over 5 times since I’ve been shopping here.
